I was recommended by several co-workers who couldn't say enough good things about her practice. Unlike other doctors I have been to, I have never felt rushed or as though my concerns were not attentively acknowledged. I recently had a severe nerve damage issue and a heart issue that required repeated visits and neurologist/cardiologist referrals and Dr. Paul, NP Loudermilk, and their wonderful staff went out of their way to work with me, both making sure I got the care I needed as quickly as possible and that my referrals and procedures were covered by my insurance. The staff does document everything about your visit on a portal you can access to get all your medical information, while you are in the room. Personally, I don't take that as not listening...I see it as something beneficial to me later. It is usually very difficult to start as a new patient there...for good reason. Both of these ladies really know their stuff! They have at lot long term customers. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

He knows his stuff, ordered an important diagnostic STAT because there was no time to waste, more help than I got elsewhere in five months. Ukiah and wherever Ukiah Rural Health covers, you are truly blessed. I'm very grateful to have such a skilled physician. He's not bad looking either: :-)

It was a while before he had room to add me but I am very pleased that I was accepted. Dr. Aung has an outstanding exam/ bedside manner. He always asks LOTS of questions and has a good sense of humor, which I feel comfortable with. My wife and I are both patients of this excellent physician and I have recommended him often, although it may be a while before you get on the list. Redding needs more like Dr Aung.

Their Executive Director, Kristin Behrens, hides behind staff to avoid accountability and refused to respond to a formal complaint. Nurse Practitioner Katherine Ernest repeatedly obstructed care--refusing to provide letters for essential disability benefits, forcing unnecessary office visits just to refill long-term maintenance meds, and denying basic documentation that she KNEW I needed to survive. This clinic does not support disabled people. It exploits them. Katherine's actions weren't just lazy--they were cruel, targeted, and deeply ableist. She made it clear that my wellbeing didn't matter unless it came with a billable appointment. Her behavior was retaliatory and vindictive, and the clinic's leadership backed her at every step. And when I finally spoke up? I was told I was the problem. I was told to "reflect on my actions" after THEY cost me my only source of income, sabotaged my appeal, and treated me like a burden. I have never been treated with such disdain by people who call themselves healthcare professionals. Dignity Health calls their brand "Human Kindness." That's a lie. This place is the opposite of kindness. It is cruel, cowardly, and broken. If you are disabled, poor, mentally ill, or simply in need of compassionate care--run. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Went in, hoping to make an appointment as a new patient and the way I was treated was extremely…read moredisappointing/unprofessional. I had called a couple times but couldn't get through. So I immediately let the receptionist know, "hi, I'm hoping to make an appointment as a new patient. I tried to call but could never get through." Martha let me know I would first need to bring over my medical records. I let her know other than prenatal/baby appointments I haven't had a regular doctor in over 10 years. She let me know that they might not be able to help me, but she would go check. She came back and said at the very least I would need to bring my records from my prenatal appointments. I said okay, can you also give me an estimate on how long after you get the records it will take to be seen. She hardly lets me finish in order to let me know, the doctors will not prescribe me drugs. I said thank you but I'm not looking for drugs just a time frame. At this point while looking at the monitor she tells her coworker *in Spanish* "I don't understand why we have to take new patients." I may not look "it," but I've been fluent in Spanish since before learning English. Also, background... I'm in my thirties I'm sure I can't be the only one who's last doctor appointment was scheduled by her mom 10+ years ago. And nope, not any kind of druggy now or ever.
