1. First of all, this school comes highly recommended by many people around me. Because of that, I…read morewas full of anticipation and submitted my application early. I give 1 star because Connie 2. However, as I progressed step by step through the application process, I truly realized that Connie is an absolutely terrible person--arrogant and rude. Despite this, I maintained the best possible attitude, as it was my first time applying, and there were many things I didn't understand. The school's website clearly states that if further information is needed, they will contact applicants within five business days. I submitted my initial application on February 5th, but received no response for a long time. I sent emails but got no reply. When I logged into my account again, I discovered that some of my address verification documents were deemed unacceptable. However, by that time, ten days had already passed. I then re-uploaded the documents and sent another email. Since I wasn't receiving any responses, I didn't know what else to do, so I followed up again. When I finally got a reply, the entire email was written in all capital letters, clearly showing anger. She told me she had been on vacation. But if you're going on vacation, shouldn't you delegate your responsibilities to someone else or set up an automatic email reply? How was I supposed to know where you were? I had no intention of rushing you--I was just afraid that my lack of experience in handling this process would delay my child's enrollment. I was just a mother, full of hope, seeking help. But in the end, Connie responded to my inquiries on the registration website entirely in CAPITAL letters and even marked my case as "PARENT EMAILED." Does this mean I was being treated differently? Even so, I still complied with her requests, submitted all the required documents, and made several visits to the office. However, her attitude remained impatient, repeatedly emphasizing how busy she was and how much work she had to do. We all have jobs. You get paid because you have work to do. If you feel overwhelmed, you can always find another job that suits you better. After sharing my experience on social media, I was shocked to learn that many other Chinese parents had received the same poor treatment from her. But most of them chose to stay silent. I don't want to do that. I don't want more parents in the future to suffer discrimination when trying to register their children for school. On March 6th, my landlord and I personally went to the school to submit all the required documents. You told me that you would send me a link before 3 PM, which I had to fill out promptly. That entire day, I didn't do anything except refresh my email. I called you multiple times, but no one answered--even though it wasn't lunchtime. I asked you whether you would be working the next day, and your response was, "Maybe I will, maybe I won't." That afternoon, after still receiving no reply from Connie, I went back to the school in person. When I asked if she had received my email, she said she hadn't checked yet. But when I was about to hand her a printed copy, she suddenly said she had already received it. What a contradictory person. At first, I thought maybe she simply didn't smile at anyone, or that she treated all parents the same way. But that day, I personally witnessed her warmly smiling at other parents--who, of course, were not Asian. I was beyond furious. Was it because I was too ugly? Or was it simply because I had an Asian face? Whenever I greeted her with a smile, she always responded with an impatient expression. Why is it that all of her colleagues are so nice? I've spoken with Christina before, both in person and over the phone, and every time, she tried her best to help. Even through a phone call, I could feel her warmth and kindness. But Connie--why do you make things so difficult for us? If you don't respect your job, don't expect respect from us

Their director, Tracy Williams fosters this culture as I had called and spoke with her at length about enrolling my kid who had learning disabilities. At first, I was optimistic as she spent some time listening and discussing his possible enrollment with me but then after I sent all his confidential information to her for review, she went GHOST! Did not return any of my calls or emails so I can complete the process. SHAME ON YOU! I am going to take my kid to a school where the administrators actually care and are not biased!

They start where your kid is and don't move to the next level until the skills are mastered and that really makes a strong foundation and change in their confidence. They create a practical system of errorless learning and consistency which is very efficient for kids who struggle with academics. Everyone there is so nice! Especially the owner! She was actually a physician before she opened this center and is so knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

I don't know her name but the girl that works at the front desk is on top of things and always acknowledges my kids. She is very sweet and accommodating. My son was having trouble with reading when he first started and we have remained consistent and his progress report today from school was a complete turnaround, he is excelling, and we have only been coming for about four months, I am excited to see his progress after more time. I am so pleased I just signed him up for math. My daughter is thriving in her math skills. I think what I like most about it is they have learned to practice, be consistent, and they are reaping the rewards. I recommend.

Crystal and her staff are always incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. They really take the time to guide the students and make sure they understand the material instead of just rushing through the worksheets. My kids feel comfortable learning here and have built a lot more confidence in their studies. It's not easy to find a learning center with such a supportive environment. We really appreciate the dedication Crystal and her team show to every student. Highly recommend this Kumon center to any parents looking for a place that truly cares about their kids' learning and progress.

Principal is like so charismatic and involved w kids that excitement and positive radiants when he speaks! Mrs. P ( Priscila Harp) -- as she's known -- is particularly rude and disrespectful. She works in special education and has a reputation across the district for being one of the most unpleasant teachers. She often acts superior to others and treats staff and paraeducators poorly. On top of that, she frequently gossips with coworkers during class time instead of focusing on students. Even some of the other teachers engage in inappropriate, flirty behavior and constant gossiping. CNUSD really needs to address these issues and hold staff accountable!
