Ms. Zoila is such a caring, patient, and dedicated teacher. You can truly see the experience and love she has for working with children. She also has great communication with parents, which makes you feel informed and comfortable knowing that your child is in good hands. Most importantly, my child Axel, learned so much from her in the short time he was in her classroom. She was Axel's first experience at school. She is a very dedícate and lovely teacher. I was truly impressed by how much he learned and how comfortable and happy he was around her. Thank you, Ms. Zoila, for your patience, kindness, dedication, and for making such a positive difference in my child's experience. We truly appreciate everything you do!

I always felt completely safe dropping her off each morning and never had to worry about her throughout the day. One thing I especially appreciated was that the entire school is nut-free. My daughter has a peanut allergy, so knowing that the school took this seriously gave me so much peace of mind. There was even one occasion when a parent brought peanut butter cupcakes for a birthday celebration, and I'm guessing they weren't aware of the nut-free policy. Her teacher immediately made sure the cupcakes were not opened or consumed by any of the students and returned them to the parent. I was so grateful that she was so attentive and proactive about my daughter's safety. Over the three years, we had the pleasure of having Ms. Ericka, Ms. Esperanza, Ms. Yoshimy, and Ms. Ariana as teachers, and I can honestly say that every one of them was wonderful, caring, and skilled. We also loved seeing Ms Elena, Ms Kristen, and Mr Rob every day as they I really felt they cared about each and every one of the kiddos there. Our most recent teacher, Ms. Yoshimy, did an especially amazing job preparing my daughter for kindergarten. By the time she graduated, she could confidently write all of her uppercase and lowercase letters and had even learned how to read! I believe she had made her way through around 20 books. My daughter started kindergarten this month, and she is already ahead in many areas because of what she learned at TLE. She is not even learning some of the things yet that she had already mastered with Ms. Yoshimy! I have recommended TLE to friends and family many times and will continue to do so without hesitation. We are so grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff who cared for our daughter and helped give her such a strong start.

When he first started, he was slightly below grade level, but in a short amount of time, he has not only caught up but exceeded expectations and moved ahead to the next level. My older son also attended Sylvan for reading and math about a year ago, and he experienced excellent results as well. The program is truly effective and well-structured. The math and reading programs at Sylvan are outstanding, and I highly recommend them to any parent looking to support and strengthen their child's education. It has been one of the best investments I've made in my children's academic growth, and I plan to continue with the program as it supports them through different stages of their learning journey. A special thank you to Kulwinder and the entire team at Sylvan for their dedication and hard work. I've explored other tutoring options in the past, but nothing compares--Sylvan is, without a doubt, the best.

I'm a PICU nurse and college nursing instructor, so I understood what he needed to help with his recovery. He needed help on multiple levels including his primitive reflexes, reading, spelling, focus, core strength, auditory and visual processing, and tools to cope with his emotions. Stowell Learning Center was recommended to us by my son's audiologist, Dr. Pamela Best. There is not one doctor in Las Vegas who tests for auditory processing disorder. We have only been with Stowell Learning Center for almost a month. We travel there once a month, but we predominately complete his treatments at home and consult with a representative from the center once a week. My husband and I have seen big changes. My son was going to the nurse's office 3 to 4 times a week prior to visiting the center for his anxiety and fatigue. He was sucking on things and chewing paper. He has not been to the nurse's office since the New Year! He is more focused in school and with homework. He is emotionally more stable and can reason better. The treatment is time consuming on the parent, but it is worth it. The representatives at the learning center have been patient and flexible with me. I have even received tips on helping my son get more organized. I can't give enough positive words to the staff at Stowell Learning Center. I highly recommend this place, especially if your child has suffered from a head injury or has ADHD. My son was diagnosed with ADHD post the head injury. He is not on medications right now, and I hope to keep it that way. Liz is AMAZING at the center. She is extremely knowlesgable and will get to the root of the problem with learning problems (and more!).

Wow, where do I even begin to describe how amazing Mrs. Elsie is? You don't truly understand the…read moreimmense value of her teaching until your child has experienced other educators. Mrs. Elsie didn't just teach my daughter; she set the entire foundation for her future success. While I now see many older students who struggle to sit still long enough to read or write, my daughter has been building these crucial foundational skills since she was 2.5 years old and she is excelling in Kindergarten all thanks to Mrs. Elsie's early childhood program. Here is what makes this school so incredibly special: Unwavering Support & Inclusion: In many other classrooms, children who need extra attention or have special needs are often frowned upon or marginalized. Mrs. Elsie, however, gives every single child her undivided attention to help them thrive. She never speaks negatively about any student; instead, she always sees them for what they could become and recognizes their truest potential. This level of unwavering belief in every child is incredibly rare to find anywhere else. Intentional Social Development: When my daughter needed constant reminders to navigate social situations, Mrs. Elsie went above and beyond. She would mindfully create specific scenarios in the classroom just to give my daughter extra, safe opportunities to talk, interact, and build confidence with other children. Keen Observation & Individualized Growth: From the moment a student walks through her doors, Mrs. Elsie observes them with a sharp, caring eye. She has a rare gift for quickly identifying what naturally interests each child and exactly which areas they will excel in, tailoring her approach to help them blossom. The Montessori Philosophy in Action: Holding a Montessori certification, Mrs. Elsie creates a beautifully prepared environment that fosters independence and self-directed learning. The children are engaged in so many different, purposeful activities--they are never overstimulated, yet absolutely never bored. A Miracle Worker with Milestones: Before coming to Mrs. Elsie, I had tried potty training my daughter three separate times without success. Mrs. Elsie had her fully trained in less than a month. Mrs. Elsie and Mrs. Veronica have truly been guardian angels in my daughter's life. Their kindness and patience with every single kid are unmatched. You can instantly tell that Mrs. Elsie is deeply passionate about her life's work. She once told me that she prays every single day to make a positive impact on the life of each child she teaches. I can say with absolute certainty that she does exactly that. We are forever grateful!
