A vandal broke my passenger side window. I will not even get into why. But there was broken glass everywhere. I cleaned up the car and a neighbor recommended this glass shop to me. The guys were friendly and very helpful. Let them know type of car and they let me know what they had used or new and the cost. They were able to replace the glass in about an hour while I sat in their waiting room. If you have glass coverage through your insurance let your insurance company know beforehand you are going to the shop and information will be sent to their system for the insurance to pay directly. I hope to never have to deal with again but if I do I know exactly where to go. read more

My mom accidentally weed whacked a stone into the side of our van and unfortunately shattered the rear mirror. We initially made an appointment with Safeelite Auto Glass with a quote of $436+ dollars for the weekend. However, my brother recommended we call Corona Auto Glass instead. My mom called them earlier today, the morning of 11/11/20, and they quoted her $150 and said that she can come in same day. They also take credit card by the way but charge will include tax. I would recommend just going to the bank and paying straight cash. Unfortunately, I couldn't accompany her for the repair itself so I don't have any pictures of the business but she came back very happy and asked me to write them a glowing review for the wonderful service she received. For some context, the broken window was a small tinted window, the last row of windows on an old Toyota Sienna. She told me they were all super nice and courteous to her, and they thoroughly vacuumed the inside of the van where the glass pieces inevitably landed upon the breakage. She was very pleased with the service and the price, as am I. The new window looks great and we saved ourselves money from an almost $400+ rip off with Safelite. I was surprised that they put All stickers back like they never were removed.. except the inspection sticker cuz it's made to be placed only once. Literally came in clutch. One Sunday evening I was driving in the car with my girlfriend when suddenly a bullet bounced off my windshield and almost destroyed the whole glass. We was in a frantic state at the time because we didn't know if We were safe at that point. We quickly drove off and I took her home. Thankfully we were safe. Amazing windshield repair business. Parked my old car in a public parking lot where some randomly nice person decided to make a crack in my windshield. First place I turn to finding a spot to repair this was Yelp! Taking a quick search within 10 miles of Queens, NY, this location popped up having full 5 stars with a bunch of reviews. Oh the impossible has been achieved in wonderful red stars, five of them to be precise. After getting a quote on how much it will cost me at this location, I called a few others to determine that this was the cheapest. It was a little mission driving all the way out here but it was worth it, as soon as I got there they asked me to pull my car in and started working on it right away. All excess pieces of glass was vacuumed right away, but expect a later of dust to be left in your car, after all they aren't a car wash. You can pay with your credit card but they will charge you tax, if you want to save a few bucks then pay cash. FYI there's no ATM close enough so you might as well just pay with what you can, save yourself a trip. The only downside here is that there isn't an official warranty. Their guarantee is if you get cracks or leaks within a month, come back with your receipt and they will replace the glass for free. After getting my windshield done and heading out, one of the guys noticed my taillight wasn't working. He checked it out for me and said I needed a new bulb which they only charged me $5 and I was on my way with a new windshield and working taillights. I recommend you stop here if any of your windows on your vehicle gets broken, you will love the final result and look of your car after your broken glass gets replaced. read more

Got quoted at 400 from the Honda dealership for a window. This shows you what bullshit insurance is. Of course, no one pays for it at the dealer out of their own pocket, only if they have insurance, right? I priced the window at around 160 online at the cheapest possible websites. I called other Honda dealerships and one lady told me it would be 160 just for the service, not including the window. I was sweating for a while until I called Corona Auto Glass. They ended up replacing it for $125 flat. I was in and out of the place in half an hour! If I were to do it at the dealer, I would have to bring it over at 7in the morning and waste my entire day. It was even an original Honda glass too. Here, I barely had enough time to go to the ATM to pay the man. They were nice and did an excellent job. Even vacuumed the broken glass. This auto glass replacement shop did an excellent job on my truck this weekend. It was a little hard to get to, since it's not near any highway exits, but the $ I saved was well worth the trip. My windshield had a very long crack (30") after I scraped too hard to get the sheet of ice off after a snow-storm (was blasting the heat inside). Did a little research and found Corona Auto Glass in brooklyn who charged only $130 bucks. Took literally 15 minutes to remove the old windshield, prep the new glass and sealing it back onto the car with silicone/rubber. Even had the courtesy to ask me if the EZ Pass was placed correctly (perfectly in the middle). Called a week in advance to have the glass ordered, and came in after setting up an appointment. Paid cash, but accepts credit cards too. The place looks a little run-down, but the guys are quick and efficient. read more
