Popped in here whilst having a mooch around Bath's historic scene. From the outside this place looked great, Mouthwatering pies, rolls & pasties in the window and very busy inside.
For the large amount of people in the shop we were served quite quickly and bought one of their jumbo sausage rolls with a steak and ale Cornish pasty. The sausage roll was pretty standard, but well seasoned and tasted nice. The steak and ale pie was mediocre in my opinion and lacked anything really special, I would have liked their to be more seasoning personally. I have to say i was expecting something better from an award winning bakehouse and the pasties weren't cheap either.
On the plus side they did have a large selection of different Cornish Pasties to choose from and the food was piping hot, something you don't always get from other well know take away bakeries.
Not one I'll be returning to but if you're a big pasty lover it's probably worth giving it a try. read more
