Charged for $180 for something I already told them was broken…read more I came in for an oil change and I told them straight up my windshield washer pump was out and needed replaced. I already knew it was out. I wasn't asking them to "diagnose" it like it was some mystery problem. They charged me $57 for the oil change, then turned around and charged me $180 as a "standard service fee" just to tell me the pump was out and needs replaced... which is exactly what I told them when I walked in. When I brought it up to Kevin (service advisor) and asked what that $180 even covered, he said they might check wires and connections but when I asked what they actually did on MY vehicle, he had no idea. How are you a service advisor and you can't explain what was done, but you're still forcing a $180 charge? Kevin was also rude as heck about it. This is exactly why auto shops have the reputation they do because places like this will charge you almost $200 for nothing and act like you're the problem for questioning it.

With nearly $3,000 worth of hail damage, I was really concerned that my new pick up was never going to look new again. I shouldn't have been concerned. Dave Yard and his staff, in less time than the insurance company estimated had my pick up looking literally better than the day the dealership delivered it to me. I'm not sure what my expectations were, (I've been told I'm hard to please sometimes), but they certainly were exceeded. On our previous repair, our daughters Taurus was T-Boned while parked and how they were ever able to match up metallic silver perfectly on a car that is several years old still amazes me. You'd never know it was ever wrecked and that's probably the way it should be. Two different insurance companies with each repair and they worked great with our insurance companies and the rental car companies. They offer concierge service with Enterprise, so pick up and drop off of the rental can be done right there. I highly recommend them!

Need a technician, talk to Justin!!…read more It has been over a year with an AC problem with my Rigmaster APU. I was having to idle due to lack of working AC on the APU. I was being charged over & over again for supposed leaks & recharging the system. I had my own mechanic check it: He let me know, there were no leaks. Still other shops were trying to still fix leaks. None actually checked the entire systems' components & it's electronics as requested. Finally was able to get over to Nebraska Rigmaster. Justin tested everything. He took his time and his notes on his work were excellent; precise with individual readings for each component & his adjustments, replacements, etc. he is definitely a professional. What I needed was an AC clutch on the Compressor, but the components are all one unit. So, it was replaced. The Control Unit had shorted out, due to the bad AC Clutch, which early detection may have prevented the Control Unit from shorting out. Replaced that. I have AC again, finally. Had other shops done their job & tested the equipment. Money could have been saved. It's a shame, that in this industry; we have more people trying to make money on truckers, than actually doing the job requested. Just this week after the interment of my husbands, family ashes to the national cemetery in Omaha we became stranded in Lincoln with mechanical issues. We have a 1988 heavy truck"RV" we travel in because we have two great big German shepherd dogs that we call the security team. We had been turned down for repair identification by several different types of truck repair mechanics. When the young men at Stephenson's had the opportunity to review our issues, they were able to come up with clearly genius ideas to get us back on the road again at a very emotional time for us. They work hard ,use their time wisely, and affordable. They kept us abreast of each new idea as we decided to move forward, then sideways, then a head once again. We encountered issues such as a hole in the windshield fluid reservoir (which was fixed after calling them and bringing it back), missing floor mats (despite promises that they had them), and a absent emblem on the back, which they assured us they would send along with the title but when we questioned that, they said that they are $20 on Ebay (which is not true). Despite their "expertise" in salvaged vehicle restoration, obtaining necessary documentation proved challenging. It took several phone calls and messages to get the accurate and required paperwork. Now, three months later, we've discovered that the front end wasn't properly repaired-as in the frame, the front sensors do not work properly, and there is rust on previously questioned areas. It's essential to thoroughly research the repair history and ensure proper repairs have been carried out, because we now are frustrated that we didn't look into it as we should have.
