He assured me he would be there, and he was always good about that in the past. But this time he never showed. He didn't even call, just didn't show up. Because of that I missed my appointment, which was to check the incision on the back of my neck from a recent surgery. Since I missed the appointment I did not know that the incision had become infected, since I couldn't see it. I ended up in the hospital for five nights and had to have another surgery to control the infection and am still on drugs to control it.
