We never had a chance to speak with her directly since putting our dog to sleep. Any info she has is not directly from me, but rather what she was told from her manager and tech. The day I received my ashes back and after no calls being returned from Judy's I did say I should make a website to explain to the area that Judy's did us wrong. I also said I would file a complaint with the BBB too. Again, against Judy's for not returning all my dogs ashes. The day we spoke with the manager and was told we at least have some of our dog back and after she would not entertain any possible change in who they use for cremations I said I would write a yelp to explain this situation. I do not do things without first trying to fix the issues and the person being reviewed know it's coming first. As far as "picketing" the clinic, I did say I should park across the street and picket. Yes I did say that after I learned we were cancelled and my dog was suffering from red bumps on his anus. Also after breaking down in tears on the phone begging to be seen. I have no idea what months of problems are. I guess if you count the two months between losing one dog and needing medical attention for the other. In those two months we were allowed to come in and buy flea meds and heart worm meds. Who would have thought we were not allowed back? Attached is the letter I received. Just for transparency. I guess this ends my review and story with these folks. I hope this helps anyone avoid this grief when losing a loved one. I will always say Dr Niess is a great vet, medically wise. The staff is nice. Just don't complain about something so serious as this or you will be cancelled.

Simply, do not board your cats at this facility…read more In more detail: I should have physically visited the place before taking the cats to drop them off. I should have followed my gut and walked out when I saw the facility instead of leaving them there for ten days. It was dirty and whoever designed the cat area has little idea about what cats need to be happy. There is no way for them to have privacy or sleep off of the cement floor in the individual kennels. Just a closet shaped space with a littler box and a tiny, unraveling, dirty cat tree too small sleep on. In addition, the food and toys I brought, in a large, purple, striped bag were somehow lost in the 6x12' empty cat room. This meant that my food allergic cat did not get his regular diet. Nobody called me or my emergency contact to rectify this situation, even though they had the specific information that my cat has food allergies. They are not dead. The sores on my allergic cat are fortunately minimal and don't require a $100 vet visit and two weeks in the cone-of-shame. There's just been four days of diarrhea. Even my husband, who picked them up and doesn't much care for them, said we are never taking them back.

My animals (cats) are well treated and loved here. There are 2 things you must be aware of though…read more They are pricey and VERY rigid as far as their hours. If you are gonna be late, be prepared for them to be less than pleasant about accommodating you.

This is…read moreafter trying out two other vets and wanting to come in to a hospital for some imaging or colonoscopy to get a visual look at my dogs GI tract. The vet, Dr. Smith, heard our story, looked at a picture of my dogs stool and seemed a bit off and asked why didn't any other vet give us meds for our dog and said it was obvious colitis. After he offered meds he then stated he is the owner of Animal Health Center. That was my dogs old vet until they cancelled us due to a review and the truth about Judy's Crematory services we had problems with after putting my service dog to sleep. He said because of my complaints we are not welcome there either. He did however at least give us the meds our dog needed. He said since I had been to two vets and was still looking for another vet service to help diagnose my dog I would be a problem. Is it wrong to go to a hospital to see about advanced imaging? He gave meds we didn't get elsewhere but held it against me that I kept trying for my dog. Sorry I care about my dog and will fight and pay to get him whatever care he needs. I tried to give our side of the story, he didn't want to hear it. He stated vets are busy and don't have the time to deal with issue like mine. Maybe just people like me? Actually made a veiled threat about how he isn't as nice as Dr Niess. A few times at that. I honestly think if he wasn't talking to a 300 lb 6'1" man he would have been more of an ass / bully. My wife noticed his attitude so it wasn't just me. She said she felt threatened by the way he stared her down more than once while clenching the desk so hard his knuckles turned white. The lady from SF that reviewed him was probably right. Actually had the owner of the vet office face to face and he had zero interest in the problem with my dogs ashes being less than half of the proper amount. Said they use Judy's for years. I guess that makes her honest and professional despite the evidence against that. Amazed but not surprised.
