Today I stopped in to ask if Dr. Aimee could perform an injection for sciatica and to make sure they had this medicine in stock. Just that question only, before I went to the emergency room. What I experienced was a total different no customer service attitude response to my kindness and concern. This is nothing like the medical professional service that we are use to experiencing. I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes before I was greeted. Once the young lady appeared I was immediately given an attitude for no reason and she would not make eye contact nor apologize for keeping us waiting as three employees were laughing and socializing. They looked at us and we looked at them through the entry door window that leads back to the treatment area. I asked if I could call her right quick on the phone she said no. I said I could email her. She will not assist with that. She said if I did they would get back to me in a few days as I'm standing there with no one in the waiting room and no patients coming or going. She told me I would have to pay $150 and then she would see me (Dr. Aimee.) Super unprofessional all around. It is very disappointing as I am in tremendous pain and wanted to see a physician I could trust. My family and I will not be coming back.

The administrative staff is rude and combative, especially the office manager. My last visit was a follow-up for blood work, which somehow took an hour. The office manager, who was not wearing a mask, would not let my partner accompany me inside due to Covid. One would think that she would be wearing a mask if Covid was a concern, but alas. They sent my pharmacy conflicting prescriptions, the blood work left a bruise for over a week, every appointment take at least an hour, usually closer to 2 hours, you spend all of your time waiting in a room before talking to a PA for maybe 5 minutes. It's an all around awful experience.

I came back two months after my…read morephysical at another location with the same concern and she was able to reevaluate the situation and come up with another solution in a timely manner. Things you should know: I. PARKING The #1 reason for hypertension in Atlanta, right? Don't worry, everything about the parking garage, here at this location, is clearly labeled. When you pull up, you'll have to get a ticket. Unfortunately, parking here is only free the first 30 minutes (which you're never out of a doctor's office in 30 minutes ~ let's be real). So anticipate paying the fee when you leave. I was there 40 minutes and it costed me $4. Family Practice Center does NOT validate. Make sure you park in the area that says "Parking for build F" so you don't have to walk a distance before your appointment. Make sure to follow the signs to the proper building entryway. II. SERVICE Quick. I got called right on time. It took 10 minutes to take my vitals and for the assistant to write any additional notes. Before I knew it Lee Ann was addressing my needs. Something to note when making an appoint: make sure you call for the RIGHT location. There are several branches for Family Practice Center. I messed up and scheduled in Sandy Springs instead of Alpharetta. Oops. There's a 24 hour cancellation policy. III. QUALITY I noticed a staff member cleaning the waiting room. That's reassuring to see them care for the facility. IV. CAPACITY There were 5 people in the waiting room but still plenty of seating. Everyone was pretty spaced out.

However, the front office staff and office policies have not been a good experience. I recently moved out of state and attempted to access my records via the patient portal and could not access them. Per an email request, I received a phone call saying I could complete a form for my new physician (I've already done this) and if I wanted my records I could PAY A FEE for them to be provided via CD. I have two overwhelming concerns: 1) I and/or my insurance company have paid through the nose for medical care for the past 8 years; and 2) who uses CDs anymore-- new computers don't come with a CD drive! What century are you in? Everything is cloud-based now and precisely why I should be able to access my records via the portal. As an example, I can access my Emory and Mayo Clinic records today (some are over 2 decades old and others over a decade old). This is a terrible business practice and nothing but a MONEY MAKER for this practice. I'm hugely disappointed in this nonsensical practice. And, I would also be concerned about a medical office SNAIL MAILING private, medical records. Isn't this a HIPAA privacy concern?

In January 2025 I made an appointment for the earliest new patient appointment, which was in June 2025. I decided to wait for the appointment because I really appreciated the philosophy found on the website and definitely liked the glowing reviews. I had positive interactions with all staff I encountered and the clinic was clean and bright. The provider I met with suspected a new problem/diagnosis and so started a work up with labs and imaging. Clinic staff did follow up with me once labs resulted out and referred me to a specialist. The ordered imaging was performed ~2 weeks after my new patient appt but I never received follow up, from the NP or anyone else at Ponce Primary Care re: the imaging results. It has now been ~3 months since my last communication, specific to my care, with anyone in this office. I decided to reach out to discuss the standard of care, which I felt to be lacking. Dr. Chad Costley did return my call within an hour or so and he did verbalize disappointment with my situation. He assured me that my experience is unfortunately the exception to their typical patient experience. I was informed that the NP I had been assigned to was "only part-time and here less than a month". I did not ever receive any communication from Ponce Primary Care to notify me that my assigned provider was departing or to invite me to call to schedule with another provider for seamless continuity of care. I was told that my imaging results were never sent by the imaging facility I went to and that "this is where the wheels came off". That is absolutely possible but it was also not confirmed to be true at the time of the statement. The report not being in the patient chart does not mean it was never received by the ordering office or sent to the ordering provider. Sometimes things get scanned and assigned incorrectly, or not scanned at all. Lots of possibilities there. To me, that shows a lack of accountability for not holding a supervisory review of a departing provider's caseload/EMR task list and it also fails to consider that an out-of-state fax number associated with the ordering provider could be the problem. I waited 6 months for a new patient appointment and, whatever the circumstances, was lost in the shuffle. I will not be continuing with this practice, although I'm sure they have many satisfied patients as evidenced by their overall rating. My advice if you wish to establish/continue care here: Be able to advocate for yourself and for your own healthcare. Be knowledgeable about when to follow up on your care in case the practice doesn't. If the wait is still 6 months out for a new patient appointment when you try to schedule, do not think an extra special or VIP experience awaits you - realize that they just might be too busy to accept new patients.

During the appointment, the new physician asked questions about her existing medical history, including cholesterol and other previously diagnosed conditions. My wife answered those questions but did not seek treatment for any new issues. The physician ordered routine blood work, including tests that she has received as part of her annual physical for several years. We were surprised to later receive a bill for a separate office visit. We were told that because pre-existing conditions were discussed during the appointment, the visit was billed separately. We also received a separate bill from the lab for the blood work. What makes this particularly frustrating is that my wife has had these same routine tests performed during her annual physicals for the past four years at this practice without receiving an additional office visit charge or lab charge. Patients should be aware that discussing existing medical conditions during an annual physical at Northside Primary Care Midtown (previously Midtown Medical Associates), even when responding to questions from the physician, will result in additional charges. Basic tests such as cholesterol, lipid profile etc. is not covered under the annual physical with this practice anymore. We wish this had been explained clearly before or during the appointment so we could have made an informed decision. We are disappointed and concerned about the transparency of the billing process. We will look for another doctor.

This week I had had to take a visit to see the specialist to see Dr. Rangarajan. For the past couple of years, I had not been feeling like myself and things started to escalate the end of 2025. Long story short I have been having random fainting spells. I'm very winded just doing the simplest things like going up a flight of stairs, extreme fatigue, and just not feeling like my normal self. The last straw was an evening out with my sister and me having a random fainting spell while dining at a restaurant. She had never seen this happen to me and it was very scary and eye-opening which led to Dr. Rangarajan at Piedmont Heart Institute Brookhaven Cardiology. I must say my visit was very enlightening, very resourceful. Dr. Rangarajan was very thorough showed compassion and demonstrated stellar bedside manners! Even his physician assistant was top-notch. I left feeling educated of the necessary steps, he's taking to ensure we get to the bottom of why I'm having the fainting episodes and find a resolution which brings me sense of relief. Just a note to everyone please take care of your health, especially your heart and vascular health. It has no age limit. My significant other had an unexpected heart attack January 2025 at 43 years young. I'm so thankful he's still here with us! However, it doesn't always turn out this way as six months later we lost two friends and a family member to massive heart attacks all well in their early to late 40s. I'm grateful to have found a specialist who cares about my well-being and is taking his time to ensure all the necessary screenings/ test are scheduled. Do not wait for an ache or pain to get checked. Please take the time to go get your screenings. Make your heart health your priority! If you are looking for a cardiologist, I highly recommend Piedmont Heart Institute Brookhaven Cardiology. Ask for Dr. Rangarajan. The office building is visible & easy to access off of Peachtree Rd. The office building is connected to a Walgreens pharmacy. There is plenty of "free" parking in the parking garage. I did not get as many photos of the office as intended but I'll try to remember my next visit. I hope this review was helpful.

Therefore, if you have older relatives or provide elderly care, be present to counter their nasty attitudes and unwillingness to document appointments by card with the likelihood to lie about appointment setting options unless it's to accomplish patients from their homeland. Lastly, despite what pleasant reviews Dr. Khorie has received must be paid. She is relatively unpleasant and not knowledgeable in her field. I am totally inclined to believe her medical license is a scam. She comes across as absolutely confused or uncertain of how to resolve patient issues and laughs dismissing patient concerns. Apparently, she doesn't know how to diagnose symptoms because she has given out a wrong prescription twice for a patient I am hired to watch. Avoid her at all cost.
