I found Sterritt Lumber after wasting far too much time at Home Depot, and was surprised I had…read moredriven by here dozens of times and never realized they had all of this great lumber! Driving by the front door made me think it was just a nice little office, but if you drive around the back it is full of everything you need. Compared to what most people probably come here for, my need was pretty small: three pieces of plywood each ranging from 4 to 6'. I dragged in an existing piece so I could explain what I was trying to do, and Bryan (almost positive that was his name) took me out back to suggest a few things. Because my toolbox at home is limited to a few screwdrivers, hammer and small hand saw he cut the three boards for me and they were the perfect sizes. I'm fascinated by places that are full of things I don't know anything about, so while he did the cutting I checked out all of the various types/sizes of wood and enjoyed how nice the place smelled. Forget Home Depot and just drive a few blocks over here!

We had a full truck load of 3/4" mixed gravel delivered to fill in the huge potholes on our private dirt road. They called 10 minutes before the delivery time to let us know they were on their way. Brandon and my husband worked together to spread the gravel out instead of leaving one huge pile. They have all the equipment needed to finish the job off right, but before they left they made sure we knew how to operate the tamping machine. We will definitely use them in the future in a heartbeat. We whole heartily recommend them!!! Marilyn K.
