The most significant issue was the extended timeline for addressing leaks -- it took approximately 7 months to get resolution, which was far longer than reasonable and caused ongoing inconvenience. Additionally, there have been multiple instances of poor workmanship, including numerous stripped screws around the doors and windows, as well as a screw recently falling out of one of the transom windows (which I stepped on). These details suggest inadequate installation quality and attention to fastening hardware. I chose this company partly because of their advertising as a family- and veteran-owned business, which led me to expect a higher standard of care and accountability. Regrettably, the execution did not match that impression. I believe the owner would benefit from being made aware of these installation quality concerns, as they could help improve future projects. I now need to hire another reputable contractor to repair the hidden stripped screws and properly caulk/seal the entire enclosure. While I hoped for a seamless addition to our home, these issues have been disappointing. Potential customers may want to ask detailed questions about installation standards, timelines for follow-up work, and warranties on hardware/fasteners before proceeding.

Finally after waiting several months the guys came out and realized whoever installed it left screws out, put windows in upside down and areas that had never seen caulk. A crappy job. So after them seeing this they agree it needs to be taken down and put back up. After waiting 4 weeks on this they come out today for what should have been a 2 day job and finish in 3 hrs. I'm posting this in hopes I can get some results. If I do I will change my rating. Until then DO NOT get these folks to do your enclosure. I have pictures for anyone wanting to see them. I am just before contacting my attorney. I was so excited to beginning with and now I'm having to deal with water intrusion. I think I have been patient long enough!!!

We ended up being the first installation for them with this vendor resulting in a bit of a delay during the installation they did a great job. The finished product is even better than we expected. The installation team of Justin, Noland and Tim were exceptional. They even gave up a Saturday to finish the project before our floor guy was scheduled. This is an awful company. They are in Myrtle Beach, but supposedly service Summerville. Well,…read morethey serviced us for installation, but not for real service /repairs. Our lights were not working on one side of the awning. They charged almost $200 to come out, and say we needed a new motor. They were going to charge another "trip" charge to do the installation. We had an electrician that we trusted come out and he made a very minor repair for $100. Affordabe Awning agreed to return the first payment as they didn't do anything, and made an incorrect diagnosis. Now, there is something else wrong with the awning... coming out unevenly ....only 2 years old. We will try to find some other way to correct this problem. Will never deal with this company again. They say their awnings are under warranty, but charge a large trip charge because they're in Myrtle Beach...not our problem!

The drama with this company continues. They did a horrible job, didn't finish many things…read moreaccording to the contract, refused to give a discount and then took us to court. Said that we owed $10,000 based on the contract and attorney fees.......but would settle for the $7500, small claims maximum. Court awarded them $2380. We sent them a check by certified mail. They got the check and cashed it within 6 days of the date we mailed it. This was July of 2024. In Janaury of 2026, they filed a claim in court saying we never paid them and they want to put a claim against our house.....ummm...certified mail and cashed check? So, contract signed in 2021, never completed job and now still harassing us.
