Bob recently did a LOT of work on my nearly century old house - and it all turned out great! I…read morewanted to replace the original single pane wooden windows with essentially exact replicas and to reuse the original stained trim. It turned out that this was a VERY challenging ask... Bob helped find a dealer who could make and factory finish the windows to the required dimensions and then work with me on fitting most of the old trim to the new windows. It was a painstaking task, especially as the old stools needed to be replaced and Bob had to come up with a clever method for securely attaching the new stools to the windows such that they blended with the existing trim. He also had to create new trim for one window and try to match it to the others. They all came out great, and I realized that I never could have gotten the same result if I had tried to work with a "traditional" window installer - it required more time, patience, and attention to detail than they would have offered. Bob also paid attention to details that don't show, like insulating the area around the windows - another thing I would not have gotten from a traditional window installer. I am thrilled with my 27 new windows! In addition to the windows, Bob also replaced my roof (including fixing many issues that the last roofer just covered up) and identified issues with my chimney, which he also fixed. My house is now in much better shape that it was a year ago. I highly recommend Bob for all of your home projects - he cares about the quality of his work and will work with you to get the results that you are looking for.

Pete was a no show at our 9am arrival time; all good, things happen and contractors always have a little grace period. 9:30, nothing. I'd planned my day around letting him in/confirming scope of work, so I called. He said no problem, he was on his way, he'd be there in 20 minutes. I said great, I'm running out for one errand and I'll leave the door open for you. We'd already discussed what he could start on. He never showed. I texted. He never responded. I followed up via phone call. No response; mailbox full. I know contractors are a hot commodity these days, but woof this was a crappy experience. If you can't show, don't say you're on your way then leave your client in a lurch.

I had a poor experience with the folks I hired to do the water mitigation work, originally planning to have them also do the remodel and then just really bad luck trying to hire another contractor-lots of no shows, or folks who showed up for the estimate but then not follow through when I tried to hire them. After all that, dealing with Joe was like a breath of fresh air. He came out to check out my space within a week of contacting him, took his time looking around and telling me his thoughts, which I appreciated. When he was a day or two later than he mentioned getting me the written estimate, he reached out to let me know. He followed up after the estimate, which I received during a super busy time personally, and I was ready to schedule the work but had to postpone, due to last minute travel for work. We agreed on a date after I returned, and again he followed up to make sure we were still on. This kind of communication has been unheard of, in my experience with hiring other professionals to work on my house, and I really appreciated it. Joe has been responsive, reliable, and friendly throughout, accommodated my work schedule and any interactions I had with his team were also fine.
