Having visited eight in the last week, from Auburn AL and Pass Christian MS and across Texas), it's easy to see how formulaic they are and how they all have the same features. Located adjacent to a busy highway exit, it's easy to access and they don't allow tractor trailers so you're not dodging big trucks. Huge expansive parking lot that rings the whole store. Dozens if not a hundred gas pumps, all clean and free of litter. Multiple entrances with handicapped parking immediately in front of each one. Inside, you'll probably get a "Welcome to Buc-ee's!" as you enter. As you walk around the store, you'll maybe here a shouted "Fresh brisket on the board!" as a new piece of beef is set out for slicing. In the center, a sandwich station where they're making up tacos and sandwiches. There's an area where they are candying nuts. A fudge counter. A jerky counter. A handmade tortilla station. Bunkers with snacks and fresher foods like salads, sandwiches, protein packs, cups of banana pudding and coconut pie. A wall of soda fountains with two dozen options. Coffee and fixings. A third of the store is consumed with decor. Some of it is very much Buc-ee's merchandise with tshirts, swimsuits, hats, jackets and the like. A seasonal tshirt on display. And much of it is Southern styled decor with the occasional bible quote or some other risque and double entendre. Clean restrooms. No, really. They pay a $40k a year salary to people to keep the floors clean, the counters wiped, the paper towels stocked and the toilets clean. I have never seen a dirty Buc-ee's toilet in ever. There a reason Buc-ee's is a destination and they're working to come closer to you. I will use today to feel good about myself because the cashier was so ignorant that he thought I was under 21. I feel really good about that. The only thing that really bothered me about this interaction is that the cashier became aggressive when I offered to show him a picture of my ID on my phone. He was acting like I was about to just snatch the pack of american spirits from his hand, grab the beer, and disappear out the doors. What is wrong with this dude. I asked for the manager to come see it and he claimed he was the manager. This has happened to 3 of my friends so very quick way to lose customers. This gas station is located at a very convenient location. And I would understand for that reason…read morethey would charge slightly higher prices for gas, but I think they are abusing this convenience. They typically charge 40 cents more per gallon than most other gas stations in the area. I thought price gouging was illegal As for the store itself it seems pretty cluttered.

From what rock did I climb under ?! You can sample the types of yogurt that you want. There are cups available, after you make your selection. IT GOES BY WEIGHT. So don't get too much. 3 cups were $12+. The dulce de leche was AWESOME. I looked behind me and behold ! A toppings bar. I put chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in there. Next time, the latter won't be invited to the frozen yogurt party. Ice cream was available as well. There were a few more selections for the yogurt but the one I chose was the one and will always be the one. Cashier was friendly. They were staffed enough to fit the needs of their customers. Sorry that this wasn't about gas. Get a yogurt. Like now. After you read this.

They have a nice beer selection and offer champagne, mimosas and wine. They even offer HAPPY HOUR! The mimosas are made perfectly. The price point is great whether it's happy hour or not. Who doesn't like to grocery shop while sipping on a mimosa. Or just stop in and sit at the bar. They have a few television screens to keep you entertained. The bartender is friendly and helpful. Honestly I would return here just because they have great mimosas. My Market Street doesn't have this option. I am so envious lol and would trade our Starbucks in a heartbeat. The flower section is impressive! They have a Noodles Vendor for a fast food option. This store is well stocked and feels big. It was clean and the staff were friendly.
