Despite this, she brushed off my concerns and pushed birth control anyway, offering no real explanation, alternatives, or discussion- it felt like it was prescribed simply because of my age. I also never received my lab results and had to call weeks later to find out I had a yeast infection. I was told I didn't need treatment if I "felt fine," yet no one had informed me what symptoms to look for. When I asked questions, I felt talked down to instead of helped. Overall, I felt dismissed, uninformed, and unheard. I would not return to Dr. Abaigeal Thompson or recommend her to anyone looking for a provider unless you want someone who shoves birth control down your throat. Never ended up taking the many prescriptions- thank goodness!

Each day at least a week before the appointment, I get a more threatening text and email stating that I "MUST" check in online before I reach the office. Note to Walnut Hill, I WILL NOT use my home/work MY time to check in. I am hiring you, not the reverse. You always keep me waiting, and I will use that time to fill out any paperwork, which is never needed, because I am a long standing patient. Please modify this Phreesia rap before I change practices. No other practice demands that I MUST do anything. Over the top tone deaf to your patients.

Dr. Brady is also so pleasant and nice to talk to. She always has a few minutes to catch up before the exam begins. Everyone in Dr. Brady's office is also very nice and helpful. There is a lab located in the building which makes it very convenient and easy to have blood work done. Furthermore, the attached free parking garage makes it very easy to get to an appointment on time. If you are looking for a new doctor, I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Brady.

As far as I understand, a consult is a chance to learn a doctor's surgical process and decide if that doctor is right for you, especially for something as significant as a major surgery. During my consultation with Dr. Crable for endometriosis surgery, I barely got into my second question--whether she does excision or ablation--before she interrupted and oddly took offense to my questions. "I wouldn't come in and tell you how to do your day job. So just trust me." Huh? I guess the point of the consult was for us to sit and stare at each other then? What else am I talking to the doctor for? I said multiple times I don't doubt her expertise--I just wanted awareness about what would be done to me. I also shared I sought her for her expertise after researching local endometriosis specialists and seeing her name pop up. I'm in her office because I believe in her expertise. But I don't walk into any experience blind, especially for something like a major surgery. She clearly took offense anyway and interpreted it as me micromanaging her and telling her how to do her job. After she finished condescending to me and saying I have a Type A personality, I had already mentally moved on to another doctor. There really could have been a better way to make her point. Something like, "Hey, I want to reassure you I'm very experienced in this surgery, but I'm happy to answer any questions you have to make sure you understand my process." Instead the chip-on-her-shoulder spiel she decided to give. Please find a doctor who's not condescending and insecure.

My experience with this office has been extremely disappointing. The only reason I tried hard to…read morestay was because I really like Dr. Wagner. I wanted to continue my care with him after seeing him in Grand Prairie before he moved offices. Unfortunately, the front office staff and billing coordinators, Dina and Lisa at Obstetrics and Associates of Dallas, have made every step stressful and unprofessional. When I first tried to schedule as a new OB patient with Dr. Wagner, they told me they didn't take my BCBS HMO insurance plan. I called my insurance, who confirmed they did, and even provided a letter showing coverage for both the doctor and the office, but they still refused to see me. I ended up switching insurance plans just to have Dr. Wagner for my first pregnancy. It then took over a month to get an appointment because the ultrasound tech was booked. When I finally arrived, after completing all my online forms, I was told nothing came through and had to redo everything in person which delayed the time. Another patient sitting next to me said the same thing happened to her. Why text forms for patients to complete online, just to tell us that it didn't come through after we submitted it in their portal? After I submitted all my paperwork, they called my name and also told me I needed to pay $350 upfront just to see the doctor without even running my insurance first. That was strange to me, and sure enough, I later found out I overpaid and still have a credit sitting at their office. That frustration made it hard to even enjoy my ultrasound, which should have been a special and joyful experience especially as a first-time mom. It was super rushed and just not what I expected, but still I persevered just to have Dr. Wagner as my OBGYN. Then came the final straw, the billing issue. Dina emailed me stating they needed to collect my 2026 deductible now. I explained that I've already met my 2025 deductible (it's October 2025), that my 2026 deductible isn't even due yet, and that I'm switching insurance plans next month. Even with that information, they still insisted I pay $1,136 upfront or be referred to another office. I had actually emailed Dina about this five days earlier, but she didn't respond until the morning of my appointment, with the billing manager, Lisa, on the line simply repeating the same thing. They claimed it's "company policy" to collect future deductibles in advance, like a layaway, which makes absolutely no sense. Why would I pay that much money for a plan I won't even have in a few weeks? It wasn't about whether I could pay, it was about the principle and how unreasonable the policy is. I even told them I'd be happy to pay my new deductible once I'm enrolled in my new plan, but they wouldn't listen. Their only focus was on collecting money instead of understanding the situation. If this really is a company policy, it needs to be reviewed immediately, because no patient should be treated this way especially after all the effort I went through just to stay with this doctor. I ultimately decided to transfer to another office. Dr. Wagner is cool, but the front and billing staff completely ruin the experience. This office has been disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish.

My original appointment was scheduled for late afternoon, the staff called me on Friday late afternoon asking if I could push my appointment up to fill a large gap in the doctors schedule. I should have never agreed to accommodate them. I left work and put my own priorities aside for these incompetent doctors who are more worried about filling spots and leaving early than giving quality care. I will never be returning to this office. And I would not recommend a single person come here to be treated like trash.

I always show up early for my appointments (15-20 early). I don't expect to be seen early, but if you're early you're on time. I have repeatedly been called back at least 5 if not 10 minutes after my "scheduled" appointment time. I pack a snack, I bring my water and some reading material and I'm good to go, now that I know. The office is huge and has plenty of seating so sit back, and get comfy. All of the timeliness or lack there of aside I really like Doctor Alejandro Singer. He is a straightforward, dry sense of humor kind of Doctor. He knows his stuff and does a damn good job explaining it. I am new to Dallas and did a little research on where I wanted to deliver my twins and who delivers at my chosen hospital. His name came up along with another Doctor, Dr. Halsey in his practice. I booked my appointment to see him and I was impressed. He conducts his own ultrasounds which is far from my old practice in FL- if you are hoping for a "photo shoot" of a sonogram, Doc is not the one that will deliver that. He scans what he needs and finishes with such efficiency that I barley know we even had an ultrasound. I'm having twins and both are head down- I would like a vaginal delivery if it's safe and possible and he is a supporter of that! I have met other Drs that hear "twin pregnancy" and immediately go to C-section. So I really appreciate the Doctor listening to what I would prefer for my birth plan and supporting it (again, as long as it's safe for me and the babies)! Two thumbs up for Doctor Singer!
