Lunch, starting at around 10:30am, features a daily special with a rotating menu. I live in Canadian, but work out of town. My employer understands that on 'Meatlloaf day', I am automatically off. A local family owns and runs Alexander's, the family are legendary for their generosity and kindness. The best secret at Alexander's? The fountain drinks! Best in the panhandle. The employees are usually quite friendly as well. They do have a drive thru, which is convenient. I can say the drive thru is usually way more packed than the inside of the store. They also have an air machine in the parking lot; it's come in handy on a few occasions. My only problem is the parking lot. The pump island is way too close to the parking area at the front of the building. Sometimes it's a real pain to leave because you have people coming into the parking lot and cars leaving the fuel pumps. I've been stuck trying to back out several times, and people won't let you out. It's aggravating. If you can park on the side when it's busy, I'd suggest it.

We stopped here because it was the closest stop to the road we were on. It's very clear that they sell Conoco fuel. When we pulled up it didn't seem to be busy at all. In fact, we were the only customers in the store. Bert, a friend of our aunt happened to be the only cashier working. It was nice seeing her and the store looked very clean except for some things on the tables and things along the wall by the ATM. We picked some BBQ and hot & spicy vienna sausages, chicken salad sandwich, cashews, beef sticks and fountain drinks. The fountain area was a little shabby. One fountain machine wasn't working and the other had flavors that were out of order. They don't have too much to choose from, merchandise-wise. Usually you could order food too but not during COVID-19. Like I said before they have booths and an ATM, they also have the lottery tickets and cards to sell and clean restrooms.
