She asked if I had any areas that I wanted to…read morefocus on (I didn't), and checked in once during the massage to make sure the pressure was OK (it was great). After that, she just worked on my body and let me blissfully zone out. Later, I found out that Iliana is the massage therapist that lots of people request, so if you want a wonderful massage, this is the woman to seek out. The only thing I would have changed: I wish she worked on my glutes a little more! I probably should have told her to go for it, but I was too busy being in that peaceful, liminal space that a great massage puts you in, so I just let it go. In general, I feel like Woodhouse Spa is visited by people who don't get massages regularly, or at all, so perhaps the massage therapists focus more on neutral areas, like the back, neck, legs and arms. Which is fine and understandable. But I've been getting regular massages for a long time, so to me, glutes are a must. I'm fortunate to have a transcendental, all-of-the-superlatives massage therapist who I see regularly, but if I were to visit Woodhouse Spa on a regular basis and see Iliana, I would definitely make it a point to tell her: "Andale pues!" One of the reasons you visit a Woodhouse Spa location is for the facilities. This is a place where you spend at least an hour or two luxuriating under the waterfall showers, contemplating life in the wet and dry sauna, and hanging out in the dark sitting room with a glass of wine or cucumber-infused water. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do any of those fun and relaxing things because I had a busy agenda that day; I barely had time to drink a glass of water in the waiting room before my massage, and then I had to split shortly after. But for everyone else: Do yourself a favor and block off a chunk of time to just spend time futzing around the spa area. It's a nice spa, and you will enjoy yourself if you give yourself enough time.

I gotta knock off a star not for Jenna but for the shop because it's hard to relax when there's consistent commotion right outside the door of the suite. I get it; it's a hair salon too so different clients are coming through. Not a major thing but it's the one thing I would change if I could. Still, two thumbs up and a reasonable price.

I absolutely LOVED my experience here at Elements Massage!! Tara is an amazing masseuse, she…read morecatered to every request I made, perfect pressure & she was so kind!! Very impressed. This was my first visit to their location, I had received a gift card for Christmas. I called yesterday to book an appointment thinking it would be roughly 2 weeks or so before getting in, but they had an opening the next day! So I was able to get in asap. I was also able to split my 90min gift card into two sessions, one 60min, & the next will be 60min with 30min paid for (from gift card). The space itself is clean & the front desk staff are very helpful & friendly. I met Judy who is the owner & she talked me through the membership deals they offer, which I loved! I have been to a few different massage locations, & although there is no quiet waiting room or sauna/shower room here, the massage is what made it worth it. The deals they have here are definitely ones I would recommend, along with booking with Tara for your appointments! Overall I am looking forward to becoming a member at this location!

Throughout the session I repeatedly asked her to go harder - I had a lot of knots in my upper back and shoulders - but she was lightly rubbing a lot of areas. I questioned at the front desk on my way out, and was told that she was a medium-pressure relaxation therapist. I really wasn't satisfied with that massage, and sent a message in to the owner. She called me within 30 minutes, apologized for the confusion (she agreed that the therapist's description on their website was unclear), and offered me a complimentary session! I was so impressed by their dedication to putting the customer first. I came back in and got the massage I was hoping for - Kaye is INCREDIBLE for deep tissue work, and really worked hard on the knots in my back and shoulders. Bravo Elements Ft. Wayne - thank you for so highly valuing the customer's experience. I will definitely be back!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND MASSAGE ENVY. I would rate NO star if I could…read more I called both of the locations, glenbrook and west jefferson, to transfer a massage to my mother. The glenbrook one sent me to the other since that one was the one I signed up with. So I proceeded to call west Jefferson who I signed up with and the front desk told me I had to get an override from the manager so I waited all weekend until wednesday when she called. She told me I wasn't allowed to transfer since I was in cancelation. That the time before was a one time courtesy and wouldn't be allowed again. I asked why it was allowed since the contract I signed and the cancelation form didn't say anything about not being able to transfer massages. She said that something she will bring up to corporate and then proceed to say I won't be able to but she can book me a massage.  I think it's ridiculous that, something I had paid for, isn't allowed to be transferred regardless of me canceling my membership. I paid for it and should be allowed to use it how I please. This experience and the cancelation experience has dettered me from ever resigning with massage envy again. I'm disappointed and, quite frankly, disrespected that what I paid for isn't able to be used how I see fit.  I hope this issue can get resolved for me and future customers and ultimately have the west jefferson office(management) aware of policies and not withhold massages and paid for services against any further paying customer.
