Melanie was a pleasure to talk to and even better masseuse, will definitely make an appointment to go back again!!

Melanie's massages have been a lifesaver for me and are a crucial part of my recovery after doing very physical work. I have enjoyed a 60 minute massage when time was limited, but getting a 90 minute massage is where the MAGIC happens! While it's always nice to chat with Melanie while she works, the best conversation is the one she has with my sore muscles when she has the time to very finely tune in to the tissue she is working with. Her work is an incredible value! I haven't been to her newest studio yet, but the Seabright location is centrally located with easy street parking. Melanie is often available on nights and weekends, sometimes scheduling during the day can be a little trickier. For a very small fee Melanie can come to your location as well, which would be helpful for those with restricted schedules. read more

Excellent massage therapist. I had a lot of back issues and she addressed them all and I feel much better.

My husband treated me to a 90 minute deep tissue massage as a birthday gift. Melanie came to our hotel room - my hubby was at work and Melanie gave me the most wonderful massage....!!! She comes with everything she needs, table, oils, creams even music. I don't know how much he paid as it was a gift but whatever it cost - it was worth every penny! Additionally, she is a nice and warm person - I was instantly comfortable with her. She left here only a short time ago and I cant explain the how good and light and rejuvenated I feel both mentally and physically. What a treat! I hope my husband gets more work in Santa Cruz soon! read more

I've had my share of massages and Melanie is the best of the best. In fact, it's time for a massage....right now!

Amazing massage, never felt better, I will definitely be back. Clean, professional, highly skilled and overall exceptional experience.

Melanie is hands down one of the best massage therapists I've ever met. She takes such good care of me every time I see here. If you've got the time, go for the hour and a half massage. It's worth it! Melanie's hands are like little psychic pain relieving massage machines, guiding her to all the tense spots that need attention. I stand on my feet all day, and a massage with Melanie helps me to relax enough that my sciatica stops hurting for several days after seeing her. Two thumbs WAY UP! read more

I've been going to Melanie for a few months now and I can honestly say she cares for her clients physical and mental well being and it shows in the care and attention she puts into her massages. She asks those questions of her clients that help her focus on specific issues that the client is seeking relief from and does her utmost best and eliminating those chronic problems. She is very methodical in following up with her client and offers sound professional advice at helping her clients manage their aches and pains. Her massage services have had a significant impact in alleviating my frequent tension headaches. I'm more relaxed at work and my stress levels have been reduces making my trail runs all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend Melanie's massage services. You won't be dissapointed read more

I had my first massage from Melanie a week ago, and it left me feeling relaxed and great for several days afterward. The space was private and peaceful, with candles, soft music, and a very relaxing atmosphere. I did a 90 minute deep tissue massage, and definitely recommend it if you have the time. In the past, I've had male masseuses work on me, and was pleased to note that Melanie's hands and techniques were just as strong and capable, and I was amazed at how she was able to intuitively zero in on and remove knots and stiff muscles that I wasn't even aware of when I entered. Very highly recommended! I've been telling my friends about her, and plan to treat myself to massage more often. It was my first visit, and I'll definitely be going back. :-) read more

I just recently vacationed in Santa Cruz. While there, I wanted to surprise my husband with a massage in our hotel room. I found Melanie online and gave her a call... The price was WONDERFUL- just right! Melanie showed up with her assistant to give a side by side couples massage- it was such an incredible experience. She was on-time and extremely professional...she set up her table with nice flannel sheets, nice relaxing music, dimmed the lights...it was AMAZING- even her massage lotion had a smell that was relaxing to the senses. She asked me what I wanted her to focus on..she asked me if her pressure was okay and told me to let her know if I wanted her to change pressure at any time during the massage... There are so many great things I could say but all in all, it was just amazing and I've never experienced anything like it. At the end, she even took time to explain where all the best restaurants and sights were. It was really nice and the only thing that could have made it better is if she cloned herself and was able to massage my husband too. :) Thanks Melanie! read more

A few years ago I was in a car crash and since have had fairly constant back pain. I have tried going to massage schools, spas, and a few individuals, all with varied success. Melanie met me when I was in a great deal of pain and offered me half off on a massage. We met the next week for our appointment in a familiar area of santa cruz. She was welcoming and pleasant. The room was private, serene, and comfortable. Everything about it was very professional and the mood was set with some gentle music. She asked what I wanted, so I told her to go as deep a she needed to help repair the damage I'd done to my back. She proceeded to give me the most complete and relaxing massage of my life. A true healer, and she really makes the effort to keep you totally at ease. I would recommend her to anyone looking for deep tissue or any other kind of massage. read more

I've had a lot of professional massages in my time, some at high end spa's and some in more modest settings. To me what matters most is how much the massage therapist enjoys what they do for a living. Melanie enjoys it and it show through her excellent massage skills! I visited her yesterday for the first time and my body felt wonderful and rejuvenated afterwords. I will definitely be back and will definitely recommend her to my friends and family. Thanks Melanie! read more

Great massage, very professional. Next time I am in Santa Cruz I will be seeing Melanie.

Melanie is a skilled and intuitive therapist. I have old injuries on my shoulder and foot and she is able to help them stay loose and pain free in addition to providing overall circulation increases and work out knots from tension and exercise. She creates a good ambiance from her music choices to the aromas of the massage cream to help the overall experience be relaxing and theraputic. She is also prompt and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend her. read more

Very nice person and was very helpful in finding time slots for me to get a massage. Could use a little more pressure on the deep tissue.
