Melanie's massages have been a lifesaver for me and are a crucial part of my recovery after doing very physical work. I have enjoyed a 60 minute massage when time was limited, but getting a 90 minute massage is where the MAGIC happens! While it's always nice to chat with Melanie while she works, the best conversation is the one she has with my sore muscles when she has the time to very finely tune in to the tissue she is working with. Her work is an incredible value! I haven't been to her newest studio yet, but the Seabright location is centrally located with easy street parking. Melanie is often available on nights and weekends, sometimes scheduling during the day can be a little trickier. For a very small fee Melanie can come to your location as well, which would be helpful for those with restricted schedules. read more

My husband treated me to a 90 minute deep tissue massage as a birthday gift. Melanie came to our hotel room - my hubby was at work and Melanie gave me the most wonderful massage....!!! She comes with everything she needs, table, oils, creams even music. I don't know how much he paid as it was a gift but whatever it cost - it was worth every penny! Additionally, she is a nice and warm person - I was instantly comfortable with her. She left here only a short time ago and I cant explain the how good and light and rejuvenated I feel both mentally and physically. What a treat! Melanie is hands down one of the best massage therapists I've ever met. She takes such good care of me every time I see here. If you've got the time, go for the hour and a half massage. I had my first massage from Melanie a week ago, and it left me feeling relaxed and great for several days afterward. The space was private and peaceful, with candles, soft music, and a very relaxing atmosphere. I did a 90 minute deep tissue massage, and definitely recommend it if you have the time. In the past, I've had male masseuses work on me, and was pleased to note that Melanie's hands and techniques were just as strong and capable, and I was amazed at how she was able to intuitively zero in on and remove knots and stiff muscles that I wasn't even aware of when I entered. I just recently vacationed in Santa Cruz. While there, I wanted to surprise my husband with a massage in our hotel room. I found Melanie online and gave her a call... The price was WONDERFUL- just right! Melanie showed up with her assistant to give a side by side couples massage- it was such an incredible experience. She was on-time and extremely professional...she set up her table with nice flannel sheets, nice relaxing music, dimmed the lights...it was AMAZING- even her massage lotion had a smell that was relaxing to the senses. She asked me what I wanted her to focus on..she asked me if her pressure was okay and told me to let her know if I wanted her to change pressure at any time during the massage... There are so many great things I could say but all in all, it was just amazing and I've never experienced anything like it. At the end, she even took time to explain where all the best restaurants and sights were.
