I've had overall great experience with Therapy Services. The offices for evaluations are…read morecomfortable and private but you usually are only seen there for evals. Then it's off to the floor. They have most equipment needed accessible and some of their gear is more up-to-date than others. I've been in both aquatic therapy at the pool by the gym, and ortho PT which is upstairs. I prefer the pool to their therapy floor but only because there is a LOT of traffic there. If you are shy, or have anxiety about people watching you do therapy, you'll have to get over it or find another place. There is usually 5+ other patients on the floor at a time and a semi-connected gym. That is a part I wasn't big on. I've been in PT before and it was a smaller office location which I guess I prefer. They also don't offer some of the treatments as I had done in the past (like traction). I've had a lot of manual manipulation done here, I also did dry needling. I am one of those "5% patients" which means everything has to go slow or it just aggravates my injuries. They were accommodating to my needs. The dry needling...That was an experience. It was brutal to be honest and I assumed initially that I received zero benefit from it and honestly I'm still unsure because I took a short break from PT and also got a bit of rest, adjusted things and comfort seem to follow. But it could have been the dry needling treatment. The director who performed it on me was very nice and thorough. He had a couple of students assist in my assessment and did a bit of Q&A with them, which I didn't mind. As someone with Cervical Dystonia and Cluster Headaches I am kind of use to being a test subject. He was gentle and kind in his approach which I appreciated. The PA is okay, she could use some work on her bedside manner. You don't tell a patient "boy you're just broken!" as they lay on the table with multiple heat and ice packs needing to be applied along with eStim. It's just not helpful and is quite triggering considering the patient already feels horrible. She also gave me some misinformation about their gym and membership. Their billing department is horrible but that may also be Mercy in general as I've had issues twice now in two different offices but both were in regards to treatment being done here so I'm not sure who wasn't competent in billing and coding I'm currently working with them on the matter. I'll update once that is resolved. They do offer patient financial assistance for those who qualify which is a true blessing. I came to this hospital because of their mission and the way they approach care. I have my primary care physician here, my OB/GYN and my Physiologist (Pain Management Specialist) here as well so it's very convenient to be seen here by the whole team when needed. Central Scheduling is really not that great with Mercy. They seem to be short staffed and it shows. The wait time for some appointments are 3mo out which for someone who is in chronic pain, it's not helpful. Though getting in here wasn't too bad as my doctor at the Pain Management Clinic seemed to help things along, which I was very grateful for. The online system for contacting your provider works well IF you've seen the provider and they are listed as part of your team. Response time is generally good and questions are answered in detail 99% of the time. Their text messaging system is good because of my CD I sometimes have to cancel and it allows me to confirm or cancel without having to call in and waste time with scheduling. Their in-house (not central) scheduling is great btw. They do their best to accommodate my schedule. Overall it's a great hospital because of its providers, and I really like this location. This office is great because of my physical therapist. She's pretty awesome and caring. Great bedside manner and is very understanding.

I've had a bad experience you should all know about. First, when I called to make an appointment,…read morethe receptionist kept me on the phone for 12 minutes making a PT appointment! It was apparent that she wanted me to verbally give her ALL of my information over the phone. SPT needs to review their appointment making policies. Somehow I don't think they intend to keep their prospective customers on the phone for 20 minutes. Also, I doubt she can type. Otherwise she wouldn't need your customers to dictate as I recall: Name Address Phone number Email Employer Employer address Job Title I refused to give out my social security number over the phone. Next of kin Next of kin address Next of Kin phone number Next of kin employer I refused to give out my next to kin social security number over the phone Referring doctor Injury Date of injury Date of surgery Whether I had a prescription in hand Number of visits on the prescription Insurance carrier Group number Policy number I think it was about this time that I got very frustrated and asked why I was giving her information over the phone that I would have to fill out on the forms when I got there. When I asked her why she didn't type if off of the forms I fill out fir the first visit she scolded me saying "I never get anything done when I do it that way." This morning I had trouble finding their Bethany, Oklahoma, location. The listed address navigates to a building down the block through google maps. There, after you park, as you approach the wrong building, You can read a 8 and a half by 11 piece of paper through the tinted window that says that the office is two buildings to the east. Two buildings to the east is the Southern Nazarene University gymnasium. Not thinking that you would have a medical office in a college gymnasium, I proceeded east two more buildings and then drove back towards the gym. Seeing a 3ft tall sign on the corner (that does not have directions to the correct entrance) I parked, got out, and proceeded to the closest door (that was locked). I then drove around the gym to the Northwest corner of the building and saw a third sign. As I was parking the receptionist that I had had trouble with while making the appointment called. I told her I was parking and she proceeded to tell me that she did such a good job usually that she would even walk down to the street to get people. She also mentioned that the reason that I didn't know how to get there was that I cut her short because I was too busy to listen after 12 minutes on the phone with her. She went on to explain that sometimes it takes 20 minutes for her to make an appointment and that she tells people how to get to her hidden facility at the end of a 20 minute phone call intimating that I'm the one at fault for my own frustrations. I finally got parked at the back of the parking lot, got into the building and found a fourth sign indicating I needed to take the elevator to the third floor of the gym. Now 10 minutes late for my appointment, I walked into their lobby, stepped to the counter, and picked up a clipboard. The receptionist made a snarky remark to which I replied this has been a very frustrating experience and took a seat to fill out the paperwork. As I sat down, she proceeded to tell me how "usually I get lots of compliments and that I'm sorry that we're not up to your standards". At that point I decided I agreed with her. I handed her back their clipboard and told her I would take my business elsewhere. Then I tried to use the contact page on their website to complain. It doesn't work. I then called, navigated the phone tree, tried to leave a message, and it hung up on me.
