Dr. Hume replaced my c5-c6 with an artificial disc. Immediately after surgery I was worried because…read morethe pain was not completely gone, but he assured me it would take time for the nerves to regrow. So, I did physical therapy, etc. Pain never fully went away, and a year and a half later it is all (pain, stiffness, weakness) starting to come back. This is a sign of a failed surgery, so I followed their advice and called since something had changed. No answer, just voice mail. Left a message. Next day was nearly done and no call back, so I called again. Same thing, left a message. Been a week now, and they've never answered the phone, and never called me back. I'm out a ton of money, and probably going to have to find another doctor to fix this.

Dr. Michael Wright was ok, his staff was awful. Head Nurse came into room with no introduction,…read moreshe acted like the doctor & looked at MRI and immediately said level 2/3 fusion. When my husband asked if she was doc, she said no but she's been doing this a long time and she knows what she's talking about. She got very rude when we asked to see doctor. With doc we decided to go epidural injection, they were to setup appt & call me with date & time. They never did, even though I called 3 times and insurance approved. I went to a new doc that took care of me without issues and attitude. This doctor needs better support staff, from head nurse to people who are suppose to setup procedures. Very unprofessional and uncaring that I was in constant pain.

I was a patient of several years ago and he got ill and had another doctor come in and help with…read morethe practice. I believe it was Dr.Nawar. I had my little sister had passed away and I was in between jobs and had no insurance so she put me on a medication for anxiety and it reacted with my other pain medication and would cause me to fall asleep so my mom wrote a letter to them telling them to adjust my medication. This had been done, but because I was pulled off of it abruptly I was having some lightheadedness just for maybe a week so Nawar suggested that I get a sleep study once I found out how expensive they were without scheduled an appointment to go visit with her because I did not have the money to pay for a sleep study. I do not know what she told Dr. Amayem but I was kicked out of the clinic immediately without any medication or anything. This was completely unfair to me because the medication that I had been on for seven years worked perfectly. It was the medication she put me on that caused the problem and I wanted to come back and see him again, but I cannot get his staff to return my calls and I did get a referral to him. Is it that hard to get a hold of him? I mean, I feel like I still deserve to be hurt even though it's been 11 years since I went there I still feel like I deserve to be able what situation was because it was not the medication he was prescribing. It was the medication she put me on and I'd already been taken off of it so I don't know what to do. I'm hoping that he will read this review or somebody in his office and at least return my call because my primary care physician did refer me to him and normally I would've said no I can't go back there but because I don't feel like what happened was even fair. He did not let me explain nothing so I don't told him, but it was not fair because I should never have been kicked out of that clinic to begin with ever. And if I didn't think he was a good doctor and think very highly of him, I wouldn't be wanting to even think about coming back in there, but I want to talk to him. And I'm in between pain management doctors right now and that's why they were trying to get me into him and I'm running out of options Heather McQueen

Does NOT help me sleep through the pain; i told him i turn unconsciously in my sleep and wake up crying or screaming because it hurts so badly. The site says "non-operative" treatments but the first thing they did was want to sell me procedures ( again if i need a procedure so soon, Acetaminophen? For nerve pain? As an ICU nurse i have never and will never discount a client's pain. Also have recovered many back surgeries in ICU and never a good outcome anyway. My US was clean yet the doc asked where i was getting "all these medications". WHAT? And i will share with every Doctor, NP, Nurse, or chronic pain sufferer i know. Negative stars. I am just Trying To Live. and it looks like they ARE taking down the reviews, no matter what Yelp promised, FYI.

This place is only out to bill your Medicare, take your $$ and say f@$%^ the patient. My gf has…read morejumped thru every hoop this place has put in front of her and she's still in pain, constantly, every day, all day. Can't get any relief unless she drinks and she doesn't drink! Her quality of life is in the toilet because these people refuse to LISTEN to the patient! It's unbelievable that this clinic is so worried about their licenses that they'd let a patient suffer for no good reason. Or better yet, writes her a script for meds shes allergic to! The pharmacy caught that one. You didn't see Dr. Blick, the physician who owns this place, worried about his license or his practice when his office team wasn't keeping precise records on all the fentanyl they were buying & prescribing. But a blind woman who has taken pain meds for over 13 years can't get what she needs from this clinic. I hope none of the staff there at Comprehensive Spine and Pain never have a debilitating injury requiring pain medication.
