The oysters were very fresh and there was a good selection- 3 east coast and 4 west coast. Our server Lynn was very helpful when selecting an appropriate wine for our entrees. She bought two samples and both were good. I had the lobster linguine (all the pastas are made in house) which was perfect. My husband had the raviolis which were unfortunately too hard so if you order them make sure they cook them well unless you like super al dente pasta. We also ordered the green goddess Caesar salad which was an unusual presentation but good and the lobster tail dessert which was both huge and delicious. The restaurant is comfortable and not overly formal. We will return.

First off, the bakery is so cute and offers a variety of unique vegan take home products, as well as stickers, artwork, books, and fun finds from local small businesses. I always have to look at the cool new gems they have at their shop and love to treat myself to one! (Or a few things) I also really really appreciate and love the people that work there. The owner is the absolute sweetest person ever and you can tell how much love, care, and hard work that goes into New Moon. She, and the people I've gotten to see while going there are so kind, patient, and welcoming. I never feel rushed to order, and sometimes I just want everything so it can be hard to choose! And now to the taste of the food, everything I've had there has been 10/10 or above. I stock up on the focaccia when I go. It's delicious, there are always new and different flavors, they are easy to freeze and heat up when ready if I buy multiple at a time. The desserts and baked goods are delicious. Trust me, whatever looks good to you, will be good!!! The apple fritter was one of my favorites and the gluten free salted pecan chocolate chip cookie is delightful! Keep in mind that everything is freshly made and small batch, so sometimes items will sell out quicker-which you can always come in earlier or call ahead if you are wanting something specific in the case. I've also ordered their Thanksgiving and holiday meals. I'm so grateful that they do this. Holiday season and baking and cooking is a busy time, so I appreciate them taking even more time to prepare the pre planned meals you can order ahead. Being vegan, I often struggle over holiday meals and since ordering a pre- made, nourishing meal from here, that's not the case. I've ordered the Thanksgiving one the last couple years and will continue to do so as long as it's offered! Thank you New Moon Vegan for everything you do and stand for. I tried the tomato and peach focaccia as well as a blueberry scone. Both were good, but neither was particularly memorable. I was expecting something a little more special or unique, especially for the price. Speaking of price, $24 for two slices of focaccia and a blueberry scone felt pretty steep. What made it harder to justify was that the baked goods were served on a very cheap paper plate, which didn't exactly add to the overall experience. I also found the dine-in area disappointing. It was quite dark, somewhat dingy, and could have been cleaner. For a bakery where you're encouraged to sit and enjoy your food, the atmosphere really could use some attention. Overall, the staff were nice and the food was good, but at these prices, I expected more from both the baked goods and the overall experience. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything that would have me rushing back.
