They had multiple displays of trains all over the place. And it was FREE to visit. The staff was so nice and friendly and most of the trains belong to them where they put it on display for us to see and admire. I love the little details around the trains with Santa, reindeers and if you look closely, you'll see the back to the future car and even Batman and Robin! The young conductor showed us how to operate the toy trains and even let my 9 years old drive it. He had a blast. The thought, time and hard work they put into the display were simply amazing. It was soooo beautifully done and there were pictures of the old Tinley Park train stations hanging all over the place. If you're ever in the area, please stop by and check them out. They put in so much work so for all the little boys and girls in us who loves train can enjoy a wonderful time learning and seeing all the cool trains!

It was a peak moment for me. The Arts Center is located in a gorgeous old home in the middle of downtown Tinley Park. It has been modernized with first floor bathrooms and a ramp from the back parking garage. There are benches and a coat rack to make things even more appealing for all the guests. I plan to visit much more often as the selected art on display changes on a monthly basis. Who knows, maybe I will even submit a piece for one of their open shows?

I selected from a few options and booked her fluid art experience online easily. On the day of the event all went pretty smooth. But what really made it great for my daughter and her friends was the instructor Ari. Simply put she's just amazing with kids and we were blessed to have her. So naturally without question we want to come back to try out some other projects and not just with kids.

That's exactly what you get when you utilize Career Services. I registered for one-on-one assistance. I was assigned to Shannon and she is remarkable! Shannon is also very knowledgeable about the industry that I am in and that is Electronics Engineering. I think that's very important I feel that when I'm working with Shannon, I'm working with an employer. Shannon is connected to the industry and is an experienced recruiter herself; she knows what employers look for in a resume and the candidate. I love that she utilizes the communication technology needed for the global Workforce (emails, phone calls, document sharing, screen sharing, and WebEx). These are the skills that are used to communicate in a global workforce. Shannon always gives me feedback, not just in our bi-weekly meetings, but in Follow up emails as well. This is very valuable to me. She has outstanding work Ethics and addresses all of my questions (that can be A lot of work). This Service would cost hundreds of dollars, but it is free to DeVry Graduate and alumni, so I'm going to take advantage of it. Using this service will assist me to achieve a successful career!

I was surrounded by such positive, welcoming people of all ages. Throughout the night, we sang karaoke, played cards, shot pool and listened to good music. What really stood out to me was how safe, inclusive, and comfortable the environment felt. Everyone was so kind and genuine. But what truly touched my heart was how the community embraced my brother, who is special needs. There was no judgment only acceptance, laughter, and open arms. For the first time in a long time, I didn't feel like I had to be on guard, watching to make sure he was being treated with respect because everyone just welcomed. It was a relaxing night filled with connection and joy. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, warm, and safe space. LBP provided the space, catered the food (via their onsite cafe, Carver 47), connected us to amazing balloon and floral vendors, and provided other accoutrements (e.g., tables and chairs, table coverings, a stage, sound and tech support, package management). LBP's one-stop shop especially helpful given that our planning team resided outside of Chicago. There is so much to applaud from the experience: the warm and inviting space exuded elegance; the feast was as beautiful as it was delicious; and the LBP team's interactions with us (from planning to completion) was the epitome of grace and hospitality. They accommodated every request and did so with an exceptional level of excellence. When we asked that the menu include a vegetarian and Halal dish, they ensured guests had multiple options. When we requested assistance erecting our banner, they took on the task of assembling the entire structure, even machine washing and drying it when they noticed a stain. Compared to other spaces we considered (and have used in the past) across the city, LBP's offerings and support stood head and shoulders above and their love was palpable in their attention to details.That they have a heart-centered mission and work in support of youth and community was tasty icing on an already amazing cake.
