Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience we had. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty and it stayed that way the entire time we were there. Considering how large the space is and its placement within Camp North End, that was surprising. Looking over the menu, we quickly realized that many of the items recommended in previous reviews were no longer available. The menu has clearly been changed and is now focused mainly on burgers, sandwiches, and fries. On top of that, they were out of several ingredients and menu items, as well as a few beer options that were still listed on the menu, which was disappointing and made ordering feel limited. I ordered the Hell Raiser, a steak and cheese sandwich, which was fine. One of my friends ordered The Cure, a pressed ham sandwich, which was also fine. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. To be fair, there's only so much you can expect from a sandwich unless it's coming from a standout sandwich spot. Our server was enthusiastic about the fry sauces, so we sampled several of them. Despite the hype, none of them really impressed me. Overall, I wasn't thrilled with this place. Between the empty dining room, the pared down and partially unavailable menu, and the lack of anything truly memorable, this isn't a place I'm likely to return to. Honestly, given the overall experience, I was surprised to see that they're still open.

She was extremely sweet, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some really great recommendations. For drinks I ordered a NA rose. It had a bit of a dryer taste than I would have preferred as I'm more of a sweet drinker, but not bad. My friend ordered the Blackberry Sage and Soda and really enjoyed it. For an appetizer, we ordered the burrata. If you enjoy tomatoes, pesto, cheese, and bread, just get it, you won't regret it! It was very flavorful! We almost considered ordering a second helping! For the entree, I ordered the Atlantic Salmon with a side of broccolini. It was the best broccolini I think I've ever had! It was seasoned very well and had a smokey taste from the charring. My friend ordered the Creste Di Gato and really enjoyed it and the broccolini as well! For dessert, I ordered the sticky toffee cake and it was MAGNIFICENT! It was brought out warm and the flavor combinations were just so good! Right now, I'm planning to make room for it every time I come back and I most definitely will come back lol. 10/10 experience! Would recommend!

Our waitress came up right away and took our drink orders and we ordered an appetizer. Everything came out quickly. The zucchini appetizer was absolutely amazing. It was the best I've had. We all ordered the lunch special pizza with a salad for $16. We got the prosciutto pizza and Ceasar salad. Once we finished our appetizer our food came out. The pizza was way bigger than I thought! The waitress even brought out a dessert for my coworkers birthday! I can't wait to come back and try the wine!!

Wow what an experience! I'm in Charlotte for the weekend, and my good friend's colleague…read morerecommended we come here after dinner for drinks. There's outdoor seating, and initially we wanted to sit outside but we didn't have reservations. Luckily, they seated us at a small corner section near the back of the bar. It's very cozy and intimate inside. Just my type of vibe. The service was top tier. They were unable to validate our parking because of some sort of discrepancy with the signage outside and lack of having the proper equipment for validation. To make up for it, they offered us complimentary champagne to start. We were not expecting that, and pleasantly surprised! Their menu has an eclectic selection of cocktails, both full and mini. We opted to order from the mini cocktail menu, and we each ordered two drinks. I had the Creepy cucumber cocktail and it was refreshingly sweet and probably my favorite drink of the night. I also ordered the Don't Shy Away which was a sour and spicy rum concoction with carrot in it. It was definitely spicy and had a puréed texture. I really enjoyed it. And, then don't get me started on the music!!! The dj was masterful. He played all the types of music I love and he mixed them in such a refreshing way. I ended up asking him for his contact information before leaving, and whether he does weddings because my fiancé and I are currently looking for a DJ. He was just that good. This would definitely be my spot if I lived here in Charlotte. It was the perfect way for us to end the night.

It's a small intimate setting and I do love the dark aesthetic they did. Gives it a swanky vibe and makes a great date spot. But they were burning incense in the tiny space and it was overwhelming. The other bar guests sitting next to us agreed. *They did finally pick up on it and the staff moved it toward the kitchen door* Staff was friendly as well, though, it was busy and looked as if they had a trainee in tow, so attention was lacking just a bit. So why we came: The drinks were average to me. One was weird (Pineapple Fried Rice) and I just couldn't get it sit well on my palate - and I tried - sip after sip. But the mixologist saw my struggle and swapped it out for a different one. I did like the Don't Shy Away - it was an interesting take on a margarita with a strong carrot base. The Whispering Dove was a take on a Paloma and I couldn't find the lemongrass infusion on my palate. So I found it pretty basic, but pricey. So overall, decent. And I might stop buy if I was stuck in the area again.

This growth has…read morebrought a lot more visitors and these visitors usually are looking for somewhere they can grab a cold drink. Luckily for them there are plenty of good options, one of which is The Free Range Bar! Free Range Brewing is one of the older Charlotte breweries that has been around since 2015 during the height of the craft beer craze. Due to their years of fostering a community, it is no surprise to me that they were able to open up a satellite tap room years later. This second location is smack dab in Camp Northend surrounded by plenty of patio seats outside, and featuring a quaint little barroom inside. This smaller tap room has a more intimate setting. The people working there are friendly and they have a variety of beers to try along with other beverages if beer isn't your thing. While I don't think this is a replacement for the original, it does a good job paying homage, and provides great beer options for Camp Northend. If you enjoy it here and haven't visited their OG brewery then consider this your intro and go check it out!
