Although farther out we decided to just choose another primary care doctor and had no reference to work with we just kind of pointed and picked on a list. How lucky were we to have made the most amazing decision not even knowing it. Doctor Din is so responsive, whether it is in an email message through the Health online app, without out question, anything I ask him, provides excellent guidance, I was a 22 year smoker, I asked for help to quit, after 1 month, I was able to quit without further refills on the medication, fast forward 5 years now and still a non-Smoker. Dr.Din truly listens and provides excellent healthcare and guidance.

As such, I feel I understand the important elements for providing appropriate healthcare to patients. I have seen Crystal Blankenship on two occasions for two visits during the past year. On both occasions I found her to be professional, well grounded, with a focus on what makes sense for an individual patient. She was respectful of my background in healthcare and willing to work in a collaborative fashion to develop/sustain a well thought out medical plan for my healthcare. I look forward to continuing to develop our physician/patient relationship.

Dr. Hughes is one of the most caring and communicative doctors I have ever had. She really cares…read moreabout her patients and is very knowledgeable. She listens to me and respects that I know my body better than anyone. A couple of times she hasn't wanted to try a new prescription for me but here is where she really shines, she listened to my feelings and in one instance talked me out of the drug. In the second instance I knew I was right and she treated me with respect and prescribed the drug I had researched. Turns out it was the right drug for me and she told me that. She is not afraid to let the patient be an active part of their care. She is easy to get a hold of by email. She is not afraid to refer me to a specialist and she is a nice woman. What more could you ask for.

The entire team is patient centered and trauma informed. A lot of times my clients are in active psychosis, or struggling with a drug addiction or maybe they believe they have an illness that they don't but, to them IT'S REAL!!! The staff here can recognize that, and address accordingly. Today again, my client was treated with love from the moment they entered. The security guard expressed patience and understanding. Clear guidance and approached my client in a non-threatening manner. He offered to keep an eye on them while I went to put something back in the car. The nurse "Diana. S" who checked us in was quick, to the point and later when a procedure was done, she did a great job. She was considerate of the pain level, explained each step in a manner we could comprehend and was kind helping to calm my clients nerves and fear. "Sam" the provider triaged us with another amazing provider ( I didn't get her name) and they too, showed us lots of love and kindness conducting a thorough exam and making sure to clean up Woodland memorials ER mess. =( Sorry to throw that in there. But, this wasn't our first trip to the ER and my client is now traumatized from Woodland Memorial. Coming into today was emotionally draining and terrifying for them due to the poor treatment from WMH. Sutter ER in Davis made that better and now, they are more trusting of providers. I am thankful, grateful and can't say it enough...... THANK YOU for the quality of care. Highly skilled, highly trained and they CARE a great deal for the population they serve.

I brought my infant son to the Emergency Department after being referred from Urgent Care, and…read moreunfortunately our first interaction left a very negative impression. The RN at the reception desk, Diana S., did not provide the level of professionalism or courtesy I expected. The Urgent Care staff gave me a referral paper with my son's information and instructed me to hand it to the Emergency Department staff. When I handed the paper to her, she did not look at it and instead began asking me questions about my own medical history, including my allergies. My infant son was right next to me in his stroller, and I had to interrupt to explain that he--not I--was the patient. Had the referral paper been reviewed, it would have been clear that I was the mother and my infant son was the patient. The most upsetting moment was when a gust of wind blew the referral paper onto her side of the desk. She picked it up, crumpled it into a ball, and threw it into the trash without saying a word. Since Urgent Care had specifically instructed me to hand that paper to the Emergency Department, seeing it immediately discarded without any explanation was shocking. As a mother bringing my infant to the ER, I was already scared and worried. This interaction made me feel deeply disrespected. Patients and their families deserve to be treated with basic courtesy, especially when they are seeking emergency care for a sick child.

After the nurses asked us the general questions, the doctor came in. She just told my wife to take ibuprofen for her burns. She said to cold compress when we get home. She didn't offer any ice bags or any other methods to ease the pain. My wife had to ask for other types of pain management methods. After that, she offered a shot to help with her pain. I feel like we could've just stayed home instead of paying our co-pay. This was the only place in our area that opened past 7pm. We probably wouldn't come back here.
