Horrible unethical lieing  Should have his license revoked…read more First me and my agent contacted him multiple times to see a listing, he would not return calls  I ended up physically going to the location and conveying a message directly to seller asking to see the place  He then was too busy to come to show place himself  Then when we came to place offer he made us wait half a day before he even sent the MLS, which he had not even posted at the time Then when it came to giving the offer he didn't work on the weekend  I even told the owner are you sure your agent wants you to sell your place  And to put a final touch properly was purchased furnished as it was stated in contract. Owner took every single furnishing claiming that he was not told that furniture was to stay and by the time Dan told them he had already junked all the furnishing  Do not buy or sell with Dan Crouch he will mess up the deal and cause lots of conflict

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more.. I was not impressed with two series of communications with this Remax branch. I called into the office on a Thursday afternoon and the secretary placed me with an Asian American real estate agent that barely spoke English. My speculation of why they did this is based off my last name and trying to "fit me" with someone they think I would like better. Well, it was hard enough communicating in English with them. On top of that, I specifically asked not to get a series of listings, that I knew which properties I wanted to see, and they sent me more properties to view. Upon being annoyed from this first communication, I emailed another real estate agent with the office asking them for help, to which I never got a response. Unless every other real estate agent in the Chicago area leaves this area, I will not be coming back here again.

To say the least, handling both of these tasks at the same time was very stressful for me and my family. Jim was understanding, honest and listened to what I needed. Jim was very patient with me and my demands. He never made me feel as if I were bothering him but instead welcomed my questions & concerns. Jim provided his recommendations that helped me prepare my house for the market. 6 Days later SOLD!!!! We had a couple bumps in the selling and purchase of my homes but Jim took control and was able to get everything back on track! A Masterclass in Incompetence and Poor Communication…read more I am writing this review to detail the profoundly unprofessional and ethically questionable conduct of real estate agent Randy Schulenburg, who represented the seller of a condo I wished to purchase. The sequence of events was as follows: My agent submitted my good-faith offer to Randy Schulenburg. The seller received our offer. Randy Schulenburg informed us that a "second offer" had materialized and instructed us to come back with our "best and final" offer by 5 PM the next day. Within less than two hours of this instruction, the property's status was changed to "Pending" on Realtor.com. Confused, my agent called Randy Schulenburg to inquire what was happening. He provided no explanation for the conflicting information but told her that we could still submit our best and final offer. We did exactly as he said and submitted an improved offer. After submitting, we heard nothing. My agent sent numerous emails asking for any update. After this period of unprofessional silence, Randy Schulenburg finally got back to her simply to state that the seller had accepted "the first offer." The complete lack of transparency is unacceptable. The entire "best and final" exercise, initiated after the property was already pending, appears to have been a complete fiction and performance art masquerading as real estate sales. The greatest indictment comes from my own agent, who stated that in her 30-year career, she had never encountered anything nearly as questionable as this. I cannot recommend Randy Schulenburg under any circumstances. My experience suggests you cannot trust the information he provides or the processes he manages. Dealing with him was a frustrating and shady experience that cost us time and emotional energy. Exercise extreme caution.

In this current housing market and economy, it's hard to find someone that isn't blinded by the almighty dollar but James was exactly that. When my fiance and I reached out to him, he answered our call and was very pleasant and kind. He asked us about our situation and was more than willing to help. His kind and compassionate nature was very evident, especially his willingness to work with the military/Veteran population. James immediately worked with us to show us rentals that he had found and was prompt in showing us rentals that we had requested. He was always available for us whenever we had any questions and his follow through and efficiency of communication is unmatched. He helped us find and secure the best rental for the best price for our family at this time. Overall, we truly enjoyed working with James and will continue to do so. His accolades within the real estate business are unrivaled and for good reason. He is THE best!! My fiance and I are looking forward to working with him again when we buy the house of our dreams. So if you're looking for a realtor who can get the job done, look no further than James Smith--he is at the top of his game, personable, kind and an excellent agent! We highly recommend him. Thank you for all that you've done for us James. We appreciate it!

We're Repeat Customers of Realtor Thomas Quigley for Life!…read more Thomas Quigley, the broker/owner with MICHANA Real Estate Solutions, 2189 N RT 83 Suite 274, Round Lake Beach, IL 60073, and online at MicHanaRealEstateSolutions.com and thomasquigley.housejet.com was once, again, our real estate agent for the sale of another property. We reached out to Thomas via his phone number at 224-627-5519 and his email at Tom.MicHanaRealEstate@Gmail.com. This time (after selling our house a few years prior--be sure to read my first glowing review!), Tom assisted us in selling a condo in a highly competitive suburb with many similar units. The first step in the process was his FREE property valuation. This was a deep dive into the recent listings, sold condos, and the time on the market for both the units in our building and those in nearby buildings. This wasn't just the standard "let's price your unit $5,000 more than the most recent sale," but a really intense overview into the market reality of what was selling, what wasn't selling, and determining the reasons. Tom Quigley helped us examine how our unit stacked up to the competition. While our condo showed well due to some updates and minor staging--a refreshed bathroom, newer oak kitchen cabinets and flooring; we were up against units with more elaborate remodeling, such as higher end custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, tile backsplashes, and granite countertops. Additionally, there were other condo buildings, only minutes away in the same price range, offering a second bathroom, additional square footage, and even an attached garage! Our goals for this sale were discussed in arriving at the price. We wanted the most money feasible, of course, but we didn't want to have the property sitting on the market too long, resulting in low-bid offers. We wanted a listing that would bring in multiple offers, if possible, and ensure a fast sale. Tom delivered on all fronts. He found a great photographer who made our property look amazing in the listing. He wrote an outstanding description that focused on all the positive aspects of our unit. Tom's work resulted in back-to-back appointments that generated real excitement (nothing like prospective buyers passing each other by when they are viewing a property). In less than two weeks and multiple offers, the property was sold at the price that we desired. We were extremely happy. The DocSign contract was signed by all parties... Then, our water heater broke at 7 pm in the unit; literally, on the same day, leaking water into the unit below. We were out of town. Pounding on our door was useless. Since the condo residents knew of the listing, they called Tom's number. This is when the character of your real estate agent is paramount. Not only is Tom a talented real estate professional, he's a genuinely good guy. Tom, immediately, drove over to our unit. He used the key in the realtor lockbox to open the door, letting the service people in, which prevented further water damage. He was our contact person throughout that long night, dealing with the HOA, the condo maintenance man, and the plumber. He acted as our eyes and ears, keeping us updated on everything that was going on via phone calls and text messages. He went above and beyond! Thomas Quigley, also, carefully navigated the process of reassuring our buyer about the sale as the new water heater was being installed and the water damage was repaired. The sale to that buyer went through seamlessly (with no price reduction--we had the second highest price paid in our condo building--only slightly less than a unit that likely didn't make the cost back of their high-end remodeling and sat on the market for months). We are forever grateful that Tom was our agent. We're happy to recommend his services to family, friends, and total strangers!
