Yoga Sculpt with Ruthie at the Littleton studio is easily one of the best workout classes I have ever been to. I have taken orange theory, yoga six, and solidcore classes, but the sculpt classes here are unmatched. Ruthie's teaching is intentional and motivating, and the energy in the studio is unlike anything I have ever experienced. Definitely a very intense workout in high heat, so be prepared for that. HEALTH RISK - Dangerously hot and humid practice is what an owner/manager of another CorePower Studio stated. I have been practicing HOT yoga for 10 years. I have never experienced such a HOT AND HUMID room that I need to lie down throughout class which I can successfully finish at other studios. You are encouraged to work through it and I am so dizzy I know I will fall to the ground. The floors are soaked with sweat and the mirrors are foggy. I was told by other instructors that when it is obvious when you see your yogis dropping, reduce the heat and humidity. I am seeking medical help because I have dizziness symptoms constantly that may be due to practicing in extreme hot conditions, VERTIGO. Be safe and aware read more

This studio is the bees knees. Absolutely love this location, all the instructors are kind and have great flows. My personal fave is Becki but they all rock. Robbie's Yoga Sculpt classes are the best! So challenging and motivating.

I was out of town visiting family and I wanted to keep my practice going, so I have this studio a try. I have been a CorePower member for many years, so I know what to expect. While this space is lovely, I only practiced here twice. The studio is very large and very clean, but there are no windows (I know that is a personal preference, but I'm sure there are others out there who like some natural light). I took two C2's and did not feel very challenged. The instructors were very kind, though. Overall this is a very clean, large studio with nice people! If I had found a class that met my needs/wants I would have given it 5 stars! read more

I had no idea they would not refund classes. I purchased a package and immediately learned there was a studio closer to me with a better class that better fit my needs. The policy of not refunding classes in advance is bad business. I did not receive a phone call or email after numerous attempts to get an answer. If you're going to have a strict policy at least have the guts to make a phone call. Go elsewhere. read more

I love this place. Every teacher has been great. This place leaves me feeling fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed Allison's class as well as Christina's and Briony's. Having a recent spinal cord injury, nothing eases my back and hip pain like yoga. I feel the teachers are very attentive to every students needs. They have shown me great alternatives to poses I can't do because of my injury. From the minute you walk through the door everyone is so kind. Worth every penny. read more

I went here with my daughter who likes a challenging workout. The people were friendly, inviting and immediately offered a free week trial which was nice. The facilities were clean, modern and warm, figuratively and literally. They rent yoga mats when you forget yours and also have cute merchandise for sale. On account of my daughter who is in ridiculously awesome shape and a budding Division 1 college athlete, I took a sculpting class that was too difficult for me. This was probably my saving grace as I had to take some breaks to recover and therefore did not get injured like she did. The reason I gave this place only one star is because by not doing the routine with the class (only demonstrating the asanas) the instructor had no idea of the muscle fatigue level being experienced, neither did she incorporate appropriate muscle relaxation breaks, nor did she have a rythym of the breathing. High intensity interval training is awesome, however, the key is short spurts of repetitive exercise with quick recovery breaks over a short amount of time. These high intensity exercises were repetitive, with the break consisting of another high intensity repetitive exercise (thus no break) lasting an hour in a very hot room. If you took a drink of your water you were already behind in the next exercise. Although the instructor could tell she was "whipping everyone's butt" which she admitted to her coworker after the class she had no idea that she was setting people up for injury. High intensity yoga with weights in a hot room creates humongous amounts of sweating, creating a huge loss of electrolytes and fluids which can lead to massive muscle cramping. This is what happened to my daughter. In the middle of the night she had such ridiculous cramping that she nearly went to the ER. What could have prevented this? High intensity interval training with enough breaks to drink plenty of water and rest muscle groups in between. Had the instructor done her whole routine herself she would have been more reasonable in her expectations. She would have also a better handle on guiding the breathwork which is important in any exercise regimen especially yoga. Lastly she would've educated the class on replenishing their lost electrolytes. Everyone was soaked by the end of the class. Could my daughter have done something different? At 17 she doesn't perceive any limitations to her abilities and just powered through the class unknowing of any risks. I can't really fault her. This is why people pay $129/month to do yoga with an instructor. It is to be safely guided. The dilemma here is that the instructor also needs to walk around and make sure students are correctly doing the poses. This class was so high intensity there wasn't much time for that. The classes need to be somewhat standardized and tested so that all yoga instructors can do a complete class themselves before they go improvising a new routine. My daughter had taken the same class 2 days earlier with a different instructor. She said it was difficult but nothing like this. Most likely she lost enough electrolytes in the first class to be already in a deficit. read more

I was introduced to corepower about a year ago through a friend. I had never liked yoga because it was so hard to relax and meditate when I didn't know any of the positions and was so focused on that. I was also in a car accident 3 years ago that threw off the alignment in my hips and caused lower back pain, muscle spasms, and loss of full range of mobility in my neck. Since committing to doing yoga, my pain is almost completely gone! I also travel for work (I'm a special education art teacher) to four different cities so love that corepower offers classes I'm multiple locations at all times of the day. Everyone I have met that's works or teaches at corepower have made my experience. I feel a new sense of control over my body, health and mind. I owe that to corepower and it's incredible mission and team. read more
