I love the food at CoreLife! The meal options they have here are a lot healthier than many other fast casual places in the area and they definitely have a lot more variety in the meal options. I would come here a lot more often if it wasn't for how expensive everything is. I love all of the different "healthy" drinks they have in the fountains (healthy is in quotes because they all have a good amount of sugar in them). I came here for my free birthday bowl via registering their rewards app, which is by far one of the best birthday deals for fast-casual restaurants. I also recommend ordering in person vs online. For some reason my online orders take so long but whenever I go in person there's rarely a line and I'm able to get my order in under a minute or two.

Doubling back, right before they close and service still 10, sandwich still a 10. The parm crisps are just so good. This is restaurant is becoming one of my favorites.

    Quite an extensive menu!

I am notorious for dieting and watching my weight before I go on a cruise. I spend the final weeks eating healthy so I can get on the cruise ship and devour the buffet three times a day. Yes, I know. Why can't I just eat moderately all the time but that's not how I roll. So, when Devon and I made plans for "Some like it Hot" at the Tanger Center and I suggested dinner, I also suggested Corelife Eatery, which we both attended once as part of a Yelp Elite event, but I had never written an actual review as a consumer. I had a positive experience there last time so it was time to give it another shot with my wallet. Corelife is conveniently located on Westover Terrace near Battleground Ave. and close to downtown. Easy to find and easy to park. This is definitely a great place to go if you are wanting to eat healthy. Not only are the ingredients real food, but they also tell you the calorie count and have lots of healthy options. I couldn't decide between designing my own bowl since there were so many appealing choices at the counter, but I ultimately decided to go with something on the menu which would be easier and faster. As you all know, I am a Diet Coke freak but it was nice to go to a restaurant where that was not an option and I had to concentrate on the various delicious drinks they offered, both with sugar and without. My dish was filled with delicious Greek style items including tzatziki sauce and Mediterranean style chicken. Although it was in a ball, the bowl was deep and had a nice portion. Devon got the Tuna Poke bowl which also looked really good but had less food in it. Everything was very tasty and I felt quite satisfied when I left, but Devon and I teased each other that sometimes these meals are like Chinese food.''' 2 hours later you are hungry again! LOL I have to admit I almost ate a couple of slices of pizza in my freezer when I got back home after the show, but I resisted since the cruise is 5 days away. Hang in there, Mitchel. The dessert bar is just around the corner!!! I would highly recommend Corelife Eatery if you are wanting to eat healthy, know your calorie intake and want to be sure quality and real food is being served and consumed. You won't necessarily leave with a full belly, but you will definitely leave feeling you treated your body well with natural and real and tasty choices. I leave for the cruise in 3 days and I will not be thinking about Corelife as I eat everything I can get my hands on while on this ship but still remembering Corelife will be waiting for me when I return in order to slim back down and get ready for my next cruise!

Stopped in to an old Yelp spot recently, and was glad I did. I think we attended an event at CoreLife Eatery a year, or maybe 2 years ago. We remember it was a great meal and had been meaning to get back there, but time just passed by too quickly. Walking in, the smells reminded us of the great meal awaiting us. We got to the counter and had to make some tough decision. I decided to go with a bowl and got the BBQ Ranch Chicken. Going down the line we had the option to customize with many fresh ingredients and sauces, but I left it the way it was on the menu. I'm glad I did, and I'm glad I picked what I did. This bowl was packed full of amazing flavors and was absolutely perfect. Great portion size and very satisfying, especially knowing this is probably a healthier option than many of the other restaurants in the area. There were a few other options I wish I'd had the opportunity to try, but gives me all the more reason to go back much sooner this time. I highly recommend, my wife and I both loved our meals and we'll be back soon!!!

I was craving a wrap, so I decided to order a Chicken Caesar Wrap at CoreLife. I ordered through their app to be prepared immediately. It gave me an estimated time of 20 minutes and it was ready exactly then. However, the wrap wasn't very good because the dressing gave an odd aftertaste. My receipt (attached to the bag upon pickup) said it was Greek yogurt Caesar, but that wasn't advertised in the app. I do not like Greek yogurt, so if I would've known that, I would've ordered something else. Hopefully this is something the company can fix in the future so people know exactly what they're ordering!

Stopped in for lunch today. One of the freshest and healthiest menus in town! Love the large covered patio outside and the colorful vibrant vibe inside. Service was friendly and quick at their counter ordering area. Food ranging from salads, bowls, and wraps to fresh tacos and soups. They even have a kid friendly menu. What stands out compared to some other salad/bowl places is that there are 2 different sizes for all bowls and salads. Many places have one size, which may be too small or too large for each individual person. I had the tuna poke bowl, which comes with fresh tuna, purple grain rice, miso sesame ginger dressing, avocado, cabbage, pickled jalapeños and a spicy fire sauce. Talk about flavor! Something this good shouldn't be this healthy honestly. And the colors of this plate just pop. Only negative today, which doesn't take away from the 5 star experience, was that their public internet was down. This type of place isn't known for a sit down and work environment like say a coffee shop. But many times I enjoy bringing my laptop and working during lunch at a counter order spot where I'm not taking up a table or time from a server or other patrons. Definitely will make this place a regular stop for tasty and healthy food!

    Korean bbq pork bowl

So as a whole I absolutely love core life and I know they are a healthier food option which is amazing but I need seasoning. Their food is delicious once you bring it home and add a little salt or seasoning. Like I said I get it, they are a healthier option but healthy doesn't mean seasonless. The bowls are my favorite thing to order and I usually get the Korean bbq pork bowl but the pork can sometimes be a little overcooked and dry. I love that you can get a bowl with greens or grains or both. The service is great they are super kind and if they mess up an order take full accountability and correct the error. If the meat was consistently seasoned and consistent they would get 4 stars. Also I do hate the bowls because if your item has liquid of any kind I don't feel like it holds up. I had an egg on mine and it cracked and the yolk started leaking out

1st time here . We got the Greek wrap and Thai Chicken salad (trying to eat healthier) to go. Great service, fresh ingredients, clean store.. I am surprised we've never been here.

I had my first experience at core life for a Yelp event and I've been pining to come back ever since. I figured since I ran a 5K at pig pounder yesterday, a light dinner would be perfect so I stopped by. I am literally obsessed with the food here. The bbq chicken ranch bowl is something I could easily eat once a week for the foreseeable future. All the ingredients are extremely fresh and there's just something about mixing a bunch of stuff that goes together and eating it that's comforting. I also tried the roasted sweet potatoes yesterday and would definitely order again. Their berry juice with apple cider vinegar is unmatched - I want to bottle it so I can drink at home every day. Their staff is always so friendly and accommodating as well. It is a seamless assembly line once you make it to the front. The only reason I deduct a star is because the wait has been extremely long both times I visited. I waited in line yesterday for 20 min with only 2 people in front of me. It seems like they put all online orders above customers in line so it may be wise to order online beforehand if you plan on visiting.

    Melissa M.

Love all the healthy choices available! Salad, bowls, soup. You can choose several options of ingredients. You can literally customize your own meal- or choose one of theirs. I had the steak and blue cheese salad bowl. It was very fresh and delicious. The juice and tea options are also amazing! Can't wait to go back and try the tuna bowl!

I love the healthier options and the food was great. It's a cool space with really high ceilings and old building vibes. The lines were pretty long.

Great healthy food, nice options of bowls and nice dining area with an option of external area. I love the bbq ranch chicken and tuna poke fire. The service is super nice and kind. They also have a fidelity membership in the app.

Came here for the first time with a good friend the quality of the food was amazing the freshness of all the ingredients the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu the facility was extremely clean and the cost for the meal for the high quality food that we received was very reasonable I hope that we will see more of this franchise unit throughout North Carolina so that others can enjoy this great establishment

From the moment we walked in the decor and overall vibe felt like stepping back in time in a good way. You can tell a lot of thought went into the place without it feeling overdone. Service was top tier. Alejandra took care of us and knew the menu inside and out without sounding scripted or fake attentive like some places do. I got the salmon and yeah... ridiculous. The interior and overall vibe are really nice, and the food was good -- but nothing especially memorable. What completely ruined the evening, though, was the service and how an accident was handled. A server from another table accidentally dropped an entire chocolate dessert shot glass behind me, and I got covered in chocolate -- my neck, hair, sweater, jeans, and even half of our table. Accidents happen, and I totally understand that. What shocked me was that neither the server who dropped it nor my own server reacted or even apologized. My server saw everything happen but didn't hurry to help or check on me. I sat there for more than 15 minutes with chocolate in my hair and all over my clothes. Eventually, I had to call the manager myself and ask for napkins or something to clean up. To the manager's credit, she responded quickly and was helpful. Ironically, my server only came over after the manager had already handled everything. In the end, I left the restaurant with a dirty sweater, stained jeans, and chocolate still in my hair. Instead of properly following up, they simply handed me a business card and told me to email or call about the incident. Honestly, after what happened, why should I have to chase the restaurant for a resolution? A much better approach would have been for someone to ask for my contact information and proactively reach out. Overall, it was a very strange and disappointing experience, especially for a place that presents itself as upscale. Sadly, I wouldn't come back again.

That's the way it was for us and Taproom, a long time Greensboro pub on Battleground Avenue. The last time we stopped by was pre-pandemic. Prior to Covid we had been somewhat regulars, visiting every couple of months. As we walked in, it was as if we had entered a time machine. Nothing aesthetically had changed. That's a good thing because Taproom exuded the comfortable dark wood intimate setting that it is always enjoyed. We wanted a little bar food and a couple of adult beverages. At the suggestion of the bartender, we split a Caesar salad as well as a Black and Bleu black flatbread. The Caesar salad is a classic and was very satisfying. Can't say it is special, but it is simply delicious. The flatbread was a lot of fun. It comes with olive oil, caramelized, onion, crumbled bleu cheese, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. We added blackened fillet tips as our protein. My only complaint is I should've ordered two. The flatbread is incredibly satisfying and the beef tips were savory, tender, and flavorful. I went old-school on the drink. I had a 20 ounce Guinness, while my wife had a mule. Both were spot on and worked really well with the food we had. Everything was very affordable as well. Taproom is loud and feels neighborly. I reviewed it nine years ago and I'm changing nothing. I highly recommend a visit if you're looking for drinks and pub food in a classic environment.

When our friend drank it, she said she couldn't taste any bourbon. (A classic Mint Julep should have 2-2.5 oz of KY bourbon.) We asked for more bourbon to pour into the drink. When the bill came, our friend was charged $23 for the drink: $10 for the drink that was made incorrectly, $10 for the extra bourbon, $3 for the sprig of mint. All our wanted was to be compensated the $10 for the incorrectly made drink. Management said they could not do it, that it would be illegal for them to do it, and that the bartender followed "their" recipe and that, even though it may not be what she was used to, the drink was made in accordance with their recipe. In other words, they lied. Management can always "make it right" by offering a $10 compensation, but they would have none of it. The integrity of the restaurant is lacking, particularly regarding management. So many great restaurants exist in the area. (We ate at two other restaurants that week that were excellent and in the same price range.) Why take a chance on one like this? Reading other reviews shows that something is terribly wrong with The Upper Deck Kitchen.....and what they call cocktails.

I love this place! It's such a cute, cozy, neighborhood vibe restaurant that consistently delivers…read more All of the servers are cool and do a good job. There is both indoor and outdoor seating (although space is definitely limited) & a small bar with bar stools. There are a few TVs that always have sports --- right up my alley! I love coming here on Saturdays during cold weather for Chicken 'n Dumplings. Their weekend mimosas are a great deal (it might just be Sundays, but I think it's Saturdays, too). Their sweet tea is always on point. They have delicious sandwiches and the side salad with homemade honey mustard dressing is my favorite side!! The tater tots are good. Pasta salad isn't super flavorful but, still good, especially if you're entree needs a side that takes a back seat. You really can't go wrong. Parking is limited so you might have to find street parking and walk a bit. I hear Sunday brunch is amazing! That's next on my list to try.

Today I stopped in for a to go order, but next time I plan on enjoying the patio with my pup Ziggy and try one of their burgers. I ordered the Madison Avenue which is a croissant smeared with honey walnut cream cheese, smoked turkey, and granny smith apples. My side was slaw and I also ordered fries with a side of ranch. Upon walking in the place appeared clean, the customer service, not the best. But maybe someone was having a bad day, I get it. I'm so glad I did check my bag before I left because they did not give me ranch or plasticware, man I would have missed out on some amazing ranch. The young man gave me three ranches which I'm so disappointed I only grabbed one. Unfortunately I didn't get the best pictures but the food tasted great. The fries were thick cut (probably frozen) and let me tell you, I would just come back for the ranch! They have my favorite restaurant ranch. The slaw was really tasty - good ole southern sweet mayonnaise slaw, not too vinegary. The sandwich, not bad, good combo of toppings, they paired well together. I' ll be back. Anyone want to go for a patio lunch? Ciao for now
