I had an emergency surgery on my finger joint back in December due to an unfortunate incident…read more After my surgery, I was told I needed occupational therapy. So I started to search around to see who would be able to have my insurance cover it. Vista Physical Therapy in Alliance gave me a call back and let me know they accept my insurance and that it would be covered. So I signed up with them for twice a week with my $25 copay. I walked in one day at the beginning of February (One and a half months after starting with them) and saw a weird balance on my account. I got worried because, I am already on a tight budget with everything else as is. So before I went in, I had them look to see what that was. The woman at the front assured me it was a mistake on the address for the insurance company and that everything was covered and good. She told me to just make my copay payment. So sure enough, I went for another month without anything being said to me about it. I paid everytime I went in and have an emailed receipt for every visit. In March, I get a call. Apparently, my insurance never covered occupational therapy and only would cover physical therapy. So they told me my balance was over $3k. First off, I confirmed with them 4 different times to make sure it was covered. You don't sell someone on a $25 copay and then come back and go "oh by the way, it actually wasn't covered and its going to be over $100 per session". Thats the business' mistake and the appropriate thing to do would have been to say "Hey, we messed up. Thats on us but going forward this is what you would need to pay per session". I would have never spent over $1k a month on 2 times a week when I already owe thousands in other medical bills. I've already spoken to a medical lawyer. I am very appalled by the situation and the way they handled it. I would like to note that the only reason I have 2 stars is because my therapist, Tori, was great.

The tips of my middle and ring fingers on both hands tingled 24 hours a day. If I did any kind of work with my hands -- trimming trees, working in the yard, even trying to play golf -- my hands would go completely numb. I actually had to stop playing golf altogether because I couldn't even finish nine holes before my hands went dead. On top of that, I had a burning sensation around C2-C3, and an MRI a couple of years ago showed six bulging discs and a pinched nerve. I was wearing wrist braces every night because if I didn't, my hands would go numb and hurt horribly. My neck range of motion was terrible -- I could barely turn my head far enough to check for traffic when changing lanes. Fast-forward three months of going to Freeform Chiropractic three times a week, and the difference is unbelievable. My neck mobility has improved dramatically -- I now have full range of motion. The burning sensation in my neck is completely gone. The tingling in my fingers is gone. I no longer wear wrist braces at night. And the pain? Gone. Day before yesterday, I trimmed my hedges -- something I had been scared to do because of the pain, numbness, and tingling I used to get. It's now two days later, and I've had no numbness, no tingling, and no pain. I can't begin to explain what a relief and blessing that is. And now, for the first time in a long time, I'm actually excited to start playing golf again. Freeform Chiropractic gave me my life back -- my mobility, my sleep, my hobbies, and my peace of mind. If you're dealing with pain, numbness, tingling, or limited movement, I can't recommend them highly enough.
