It took a bit for our server to come acknowledge us but once he did, he was very helpful and attentive. My boyfriend ordered a peach Kentucky mule (they originally said they couldn't make that, which we questioned with it being a distillery, but our server came back and said they could after all). He enjoyed it and said it's one of the better ones he's had! We both ordered smash burgers and sweet potato fries - I had the junction 35 (pimento cheese + bacon jam) and he had the farmhouse (bacon + fried egg). Both were amazing! Juicy burgers, perfect size patties for smash burgers, the buns were fresh and held up nicely, and the toppings were great. Sweet potato fries had a great crunch and were seasoned really well. Service was great, food was high quality and had great flavor, and the dog friendly patio was perfect for our pup. It's located in a nice little strip of shops and restaurants, and has a common area of cornhole and other games that would be fun for an activity before/after dinner, or if you have kids in tow. We'd definitely make another trip here when in the area.

The atmosphere was good as well. It was a nice vibe with the TVs and the large projector screen. They had one of the World Cup matches on so that was nice. My husband and I both order old fashions. He order the espresso and I ordered a smoked one. By far one of the best I've ever had. We had the fried green tomatoes and they were tasty, a little more pimento would have made them perfect. Now the bad. I'm not sure what all the other folks ate that left such great reviews, but I can only assume that none of them had the brisket Mac and Cheese. Because it was cold and there was zero flavor. I literally had to use the BBQ sauce to get some flavor in the food. The Mac and cheese tasted like the old school powder Kraft. My husband wasn't a fan of his burger because it had the same bad Mac and cheese on it. Needless to say as much as we visit the mountains this will be our one and only time at Junction 35.

Simply put: amazing food, helpful staff, fun vibe inside and good for small groups…read more I was a sucker for the chicken and carrots and must admit I may have stolen a couple bites off another plate (I asked!). Kidding aside, would recommend a visit and supporting a good option in Knoxville.

The good news 1st. Sitting at the bar for drinks is a 5-star experience. Good cocktails and the bar…read morestaff have great service and are friendly to talk with. But just about every thing to do with our dinner was low quality The Maitre d (or host mgr) has poor customer service skills. He is the wrong person to be in that position. Sometimes I would suggest to have him train at one of better dinner houses in Knoxville, but his attitude is such I'm not sure he would understand his deficiencies. Overall, he does not treat guests as if they are the lifeline for a restaurant. He made no effort to make us feel he was glad we came to The Kennedy and when we left he made no attempt to thank us or ask how our experience was. If he is not replaced the restaurant will steadily lose customers. The food quality was poor. The salmon on top of Brussel sprouts tasted as if someone in the kitchen poured molasses on top of the Brussel Spouts. Then after it was sent back with the request to re-do the dinner without the sweetener it came back (after a very long delay) with a huge plate of Brussel Sprouts that were completely dried out. It seemed like the people in the kitchen attempted to make up for the poor taste by giving a helping size 3 X as normal. The crab on noodles was a "C" at best. The crab was stringy and the noodles were very bland. If people at coming for drinks and appetizers it probably is a good choice but if someone wants a quality dinner experience I was told by 2 locals who come downtown a lot to eat at Lonesome Dove Brass Pearl JC Holdway (the best chef) Oliver Royale ( we ate here and the food quality and service were exceptional) Osteria Stella Emelia

Okay, this is my first time this restaurant/bar/club. I got there around 9:30 PM on Saturday night…read moreand sat outside for quite a while with some biker friends of mine. I must say for a nightclub it is impressive for Chattanooga. They have to areas outdoors on the left-hand side with a fire pit and seating and a few tables. You can also sit outside on the right-hand side but no fire pit. This review is based on me just touring the place over a few hours and mostly sitting outside watching people come in. They do serve beer and mixed drinks and they also serve food, which I did not partake. Oh yea, draft beer (+1). I also had the chance to chat with Randy, the manager, and I appreciate his openness. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and you could tell he was on top of everything there. Great people person. When you arrive, women can expect to get "wanded" and their purses checked and the men will also be frisked, I assume for weapons. As with most of these types of nightclubs, it seems to get busy around 10 o'clock at night and I was told that many nights they reach capacity by 11 o'clock and there is a line to get in, sometimes around the block so may want to get there early. As people leave, they allow others to enter, because I think they have a maximum occupancy of about 800. Security seems to be pretty tight which I can understand due to the clientele being younger for the most part have a lot of alcohol flowing. I had the chance to meet and talk to some of the security personnel and they were outgoing and friendly, but rest assured, they are there to ensure everyone has a good time and no one is bothered and if you were to get out of hand, it is obvious they know what to do. The club is three levels with the bottom level still being developed and it has pool tables, dartboards and when finished in a couple of weeks will be quite a neat hangout. The middle level (entrance) has lots of tables and bars and appears to be more of a live band (country) and maybe a little older crowd. This seems to be the better place to eat. Again, it was somewhere I would hang out. The upper level is probably a "younger" crowd and it is the loud dance music (I use the term music lightly) where it has a constant beat so dancers and bounce up and down . Music s somewhat crude at times and there is a lot of bumping and grinding going on. You can hardly move up there when it is crowded and It seem to be very crowded early on this level . Also, I was told it can get hot (temperature wise). Word of caution, especially to the younger crowd, be sure you don't drink and drive because first of all not a safe or smart thing to do but secondly, there are police cars just sitting there watching the place. I left on my motorcycle around 1 AM and saw three just sitting there. I am not a night owl and too old for the 3 AM checkout. I no longer get home when people are getting up. For what it is, it is a pretty neat place for Chattanooga and you would think you were downtown NYC or Atlanta. I give it a 5 and it has something for everyone. If I got something wrong here, just drop me a note.

Walk in the door to a large white board with several "rules" including no weapons, no sagging, no hoodies, no baseball caps to the side, no plain t shirts... then there was a $20 cover. The whole vibe made it uneasy so I left.
