I have been dealing with neck and ankle pain for over a year now. When I first walked in, I was introduced to a young man named Chris. Chris was very knowledgeable, and you can tell he takes his craft very seriously. He explains every movement and exercise carefully and intently. He informed me of things I wasn't aware of about my body and stuff to pay attention to. He hooked up these cups and sticker things on my body, and man, it felt weird, but I felt a lot better. From Chris, I was sent off to Jess, and she was cautious with the areas that were in pain. She cracked me up and folded me, and I felt like a brand-new baby. She even looked at other places that were in pain. Jess introduced me to some new exercises and different things to pay attention to how I sleep and my neck position. I started with Dr. Yurio and after a few sessions of physical therapy ordered an MRI. Turns out I completely tore my ACL and part of my meniscus. I was presented with my options and ultimately decided to have surgery to repair my injuries. I was transferred to Dr. Kaplan and he again presented me with my options. I decided to continue moving forward with the surgery. At no time was I pressured into having the surgery. For my lifestyle and health it made sense to move forward. Fast forward to surgery day - The surgery center is in the same building and is well maintained. I was introduced to several people who would be participating in the surgery and each one confirmed with me why I was there. It was clear patient care and safety was a top priority. Follow up appointments were a breeze. They email any paperwork required prior to the appt. And after check in the most I ever waited was 5 mins in the big waiting room or in the actual room. I saw either the PA and Surgeon during these appts. Both were professional and never made me feel rushed and felt comfortable asking questions. I was in and out in less than 30 mins from check in to check out. I had a positive experience from start to finish with this group of Dr.s and would recommend them. There are several Dr.s with different specialties available. I did see one of the foot Dr.s several years ago, can't recall his name, and did not have the same positive experience.

As a former service member I suffer with autoimmune disorder, fibromyalgia and low Testosterone levels which I feel were brought on by my exposure to burn pits. I also have a history of shoulder, hand, and back surgeries which in May, 2022 forced me to undergo an L4/L5/SI back fusion surgery to remedy degenerative discs and herniations. As soon as it was permitted after I began physical therapy (PT). I have severe neuropathy to my left leg/foot while my right foot also remains numb. Needless to say my balance and other motor skills are severely delayed. While making some progress with PT, I began experiencing a new numbness now in my fingers, hands and arms. For every good day, I experienced 3 bad days where I just wanted to stay in bed, be left alone and suffer through the head and body aches all with living with the uncertainty of not knowing if I can regain any quality of life. I was at 6 month post surgery when I Iearned of Dr. Garoppo' s practice from someone I met at PT. Based on a glowing recommendation for Dr. Garoppo, I immediately contacted her office and was surprised when I received a call after hours to discuss my health issues. I was even more excited when she scheduled me for the very next day. At her request to garner a better understanding of my overall medical and at times mental health conditions, Dr. Garoppo, myself and my Physical Therapy Dr., engaged in a conference call which resulted in them garnering a better understanding of my physical ailments and ongoing limitations. This effort enabled Dr. Garoppo to develop a treatment plan that benefited my overall medical and mental well being. Dr. Garoppo's ability to listen, develop an understanding of my ailments and then readjust the treatment when necessary is outstanding. We have found two other AO Drs in our area, but their level of care just does not compare to that of Dr. Mark Pierce Chiropractic. Their more all-natural approach to chiropractic care (Atlas Orthogonal) was known to my husband but foreign to me. I instantly felt relaxed and comfortable with Dr. Pierce. My X-rays showed that my spine was indeed out of alignment, most likely due to everyday living - poor posture and sleep habits. And Dr. Pierce instantly noticed that my atlas was "red hot" and asked if I ever felt discomfort there (at the base of the neck). I said, "Of course, all of the time. I get migraines at least twice a month, but I thought that was just me." Well after my first adjustment, I felt relief in that area for the first time since I was a young teenager.
