Dr Sekhon is so incredibly skilled and efficient. He does not go back and forth between patients like a lot of dentists do, making one filling take upwards of an hour. He has fixed other dentists poor work and really cares about the aesthetic outcome as well as quality and durability. His staff are very knowledgeable and soo kind. They really take their time with you and cleanings are very thorough. His practice also uses a lot of new "technology" that I have never seen before. Their office is gorgeous and equipped with IPads, Nespresso and chocolate. So even though they're incredible inconvenient because their office is like 35 mins away from me and they don't do direct billing.. I will forever go see him, because it is incredibly hard to find a quality dentist and one who does not leave you in worse pain then when you came in!!!! Last thing, they have a really skilled dental assistant there who can take off and put back on wires, so you don't have to go to your ortho before hand!!!

Thanks to Dr.Sekhon and the amazing staff he has I now have a smile I feel confident showing off! 10/10 highly recommend

Each time I have been the staff have been very friendly and kind. They answer all the questions I have about the process they will be doing on my teeth. The location is in a great spot and the building is very clean and kept proper. The only complaint I would have is that I had to sit for quite awhile in the waiting room before my apointment. Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. I will continue to go here and get my teeth work done

She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. This is absolutely my neq dental office from now on and my husband and I will also be taking out children there because it is just that great!! So happy I found them!

We all have to go to a dentist but you may as well make it a dentist you are comfortable with... I…read morehave been living in Edmonton for over 15 years and have still been travelling back to GP to visit my dentist until now... I think that speaks volumes. I needed to find a dentist I was comfortable with; my kids were comfortable with and that I didn't feel like I was being ripped of by seeing as there are no dental fee guidelines in Alberta yet (they are working on it). I have definitely found that here at the Heritage Dental Centre. They treated us well and I felt welcomed which is what I was looking for in a dental office - not just a patient; not just a number but someone they cared about after all they are looking after my health and well being. The hygienist took care of us and the dentist made sound suggestions for care - whether that was a filling for one child or waiting to see what happens with the other. My middle one needed wisdom teeth removed and he suggested a place to go and I had no hesitation about taking his suggestion has I was happy with his work. I will be coming back here for sure. Plenty of free parking but it was also close to the LRT for my oldest who needed to meet us here after university. Plus they took care of insurance and are open late for even more convenience. Really, what more can I - or anyone else, ask for?

After several quick and pain-free session I gotta hand it to Dr. Amr for an amazing Practice. Ok, First things first, he's got massaging and heated dental chiars ( I honestly didn't even think that was a thing), the most modern and top of the line equipment, a kid friendly waiting area set up with iPads, and he's a specialist in pain-free dental care. Today's experience was amazing, staff recognized me by name, and everything was super quick. I needed to get a new night guard for my teeth, and the standard practice is to take a concrete mold and then make the night guard from there. The process they use is they take a digital image of your teeth, then 3D Print that image, then create the guard from that print. As far as I know, this is the first Dental practice in Alberta to have such a process. I can't talk highly enough about the guy. Good, honest, and does the work needed.

My family and I were very satisfied with him, and was…read moretouched by his passion for providing comfort-oriented dental care (which was based on his own past dental experiences as a child). After about a year of him being our family dentist, we received a call stating that he decided not to see us because our insurance was low income (Alberta Adult Benefits). To make matters worse, he had started some dental work before making this decision, and I was unable to go back for him to complete it. I've always been a loyal patient of his, and once had to pay in part for some dental work, which I paid in full. So I found this to be very uncharacteristic and hypocritical his empathic patient - based system of care! When I had relayed this to other dental clinics, they could not understand his reasoning. Very disappointed by his lack of morale overall.

I had a root canal done at this office, and it was handled so poorly that it caused years of…read moreongoing health issues. After the procedure, I kept going back because something clearly wasn't right. Instead of addressing the problem, they repeatedly prescribed antibiotics and insisted nothing was wrong. Over time, I saw multiple dentists trying to get answers, but no one wanted to take responsibility or properly investigate. (created a ton of fear) I was essentially passed from one office to another with no resolution. Nearly nine years later, I finally found a dentist who took my concerns seriously and referred me to an endodontist. The specialist confirmed that the original root canal had failed they missed a canal. It had been overfilled, which caused a pocket in my jaw that repeatedly became infected. For years, I was dealing with chronic infections, with my mouth flaring up every month or so, and no one acknowledging the real cause. The dentist who performed the procedure claimed to be a specialist, but based on the outcome, the quality of work was unacceptable. This wasn't just a minor issue--it led to long-term damage and significant health complications. I've dealt with chronic inflammation, recurring infections, and even hospital visits due to blood infections that were never properly traced back to the source at the time. I paid for professional care and trusted this office, and after 4 hours in a chair and thousands later in return, I was left dealing with the consequences of a failed procedure that no one would take responsibility for. It took nearly a decade to finally get a clear diagnosis and validation of what I had been experiencing the entire time.(keep in mind I couldn't live on antibiotics either so no medication to heal it or prevent infection or I'd end up immune to them if I did) I would strongly caution others to seek second opinions and ensure they are getting proper care, because my experience here resulted in years of unnecessary pain and avoidable health issues. Also fun fact for anybody getting work done anywhere, did you know your body suffering with constant inflammation and infection, like from failed dental work, ya it could cause blood sugar issues.... The more you know.
