Long overdue. I had a baby last year and she was super fussy and had bad baby acne. My friend referred me here and Dr. Lukas adjusted her at 1 month. I didn't really expect anything but I figured it wouldn't hurt. He said she would fall asleep, poop and sleep thru the night after. I just thought to myself, "Yeah whatever Man." I left and she fell asleep in the car (but all babies do). I took her in the house, pulled back the carseat cover and almost fainted! Her skin was COMPLETELY cleared. She had that pure, milky, white porcelain skin that all babies are supposed to have. It was nuts. It was like someone else's baby. I had never seen her with clear skin. Then I checked her diaper and just like he said, soiled. That night she slept through the night. Crazy. He definitely was the baby whisperer for me at least. I took her for a few more adjustments the next week and the acne never came back. Apparently there's a lot of trauma for the babies at childbirth and this helps them get in the right Groove. I don't know. I just can testify that at least for my child, it made a HUGE, noticeable difference when I wasn't expecting any results. There's a bunch of chiropractors out there that really give this industry a bad name. I want to preface that I am not a medical professional, nor do I claim the outcomes are going to be the same for everyone. I've gone to Core for two reasons: 1. treating my rear-end accident over a year ago, and 2. Sinus congestion. We went over my x-rays, came up with a treatment plan, and because my insurance didn't cover for the expenses, a reasonable payment plan that made it affordable to get these type of treatments. The reason why I'm highly recommending these guys is because they are extremely informative to reassure the patient (me) in what movements will be done, what functions these will affect, and without any sales pressure. As for me, I feel better and have regained some flexibility and functions back after a few treatments. It's not a fix-all solution, but it's definitely worth a try. I recently visited Core Chiropractic after I was dissatisfied with the care I was receiving at another OC Chiropractor, and I couldn't be more pleased. When I initially called to schedule a consult, Jena was professional, outgoing, and really accommodating to my work schedule. She was able to schedule my consultation with Dr. Houston the same day I called in. The practice is in an office building off the 405/Bristol right by the Hilton. During my initial visit Dr. Houston was able to take digital x-rays. I then came back and he was able to provide a thorough diagnosis. This review has been a long time coming. I wanted to wait to see the actual results. I signed up with Tyler at Core Chiropractic about 3-4 months ago for 62 sessions. The first few meetings were more informative than any physician I spoke too in the last 15 years. Tyler was able take X-rays of my spine and neck where he could see exactly where my issues were. He put together a recommended 62 visit schedule, which I was eager to sign up with him. I had thought of neck surgery for years, but was hesitant due to the obvious, surgery. I wanted to try a chiropractor and see if it would make a difference. I've never seen a chiropractor before so I was enthusiastic to see what it was all about. After my first session was over, I felt amazing. It was the biggest relief to get some real help! I'm about 50 sessions in and it just keep getting better and better with each visit. I no longer need pain meds and I can sleep thru the night. I was in so much pain for over 10+ years and now I feel like 95% of the pain is gone. I hardly even think about it anymore. When I saw Dr. Lukas' ad and his 5 star rating I was sold... plus the tension in my back was becoming more than I could bear. Parking was very easy and they validate. His office is on the first floor so there's no hunting around trying to figure out where you're going. The office is clean and spacious. Dr. Lukas himself is very easy on the eyes and professional. My intake was quick and after the adjustment I almost wanted to apologize for the amount of baggage I must have left behind that he removed from my back and shoulders. This place is not responsive to new patient enquiries. I worked a few doors down from this place and am a registered nurse. I called at 4 pm asking for pricing for a first time appointment the receptionist with the oversized glasses and ton of makeup named Sara said 98.00 ( we spoke on the phone but I later passed by and saw her sitting there). I explained I had ppo and She said I had to bring in my card to get a quote . I had to ask her if I could email it and she agreed but stated I'd have to wait until tomorrow for her to process it. Dr Tyler and Natalie (office manager) are amazing! I started coming here for more preventative care as I'm 32 now and haven't been assessed or had chiropractic treatment since high school. My husband started coming here first after throwing out his back in the same spot 4 times in the past 18 months.
