I'm posting this not to downgrade your business, but to help improve the experience and service for future patients. I made an appointment specifically with Dr. David Soloway because of his great reviews. My insurance adjuster had originally assigned me to a different chiropractor, but I personally requested a transfer and waited longer for insurance approval -- because I truly wanted to be seen by Dr. David, not just anyone in-network. But during my visit, no one told me he wasn't available. Instead, I was seen by someone else who briefly mentioned that he works part-time at the clinic. I honestly thought he was a PA or someone in training, just taking my information before Dr. David came into the room. Then he proceeded to do a light adjustment, I never met dr. David -- and I left the clinic feeling confused and misled. This isn't my first time seeing a chiropractor. I've had experience with several chiropractors through insurance, and unfortunately, many didn't take the care seriously. That's why I did my own research and chose this clinic -- specifically for Dr. David's care and reputation based on the reviews. Later, I called and asked Katherine why Dr. David didn't handle my appointment. That's when I was told he was on vacation. But that's not the issue -- the real concern is that no one informed me beforehand, and I wasn't given the option to reschedule. I'm not questioning the part-time doctor's experience -- this is simply about communication and respect. My appointment was for Dr. David, and that expectation should've been honored. Please fix the communication, so patients don't feel misled and lose confidence in your care. A simple heads-up when the doctor is unavailable would go a long way in building trust and delivering a respectful, transparent experience. I would've gladly waited for Dr. David's return if I had just been told. Thank you. read more

Every once in a while I experience pain in my neck. Years ago, my friend suggested that I see his chiropractor. I laughed off the idea, not believing in that treatment philosophy. More recently, my wife would tell me about how good Dr. Soloway was, and that I should see him when the pain flares up. I stubbornly refused. Finally, she got tired of hearing me say "Ow!" and offered to pay for my visit. I agreed, thinking that it wouldn't work and that I wouldn't have to hear about Dr. Soloway anymore. I was wrong. Dr. Soloway, with some very quick adjustments, was able to get rid of 99% of my pain at my first visit. Why did I suffer unnecessarily? I have been back a number of times since and I highly recommend him. He takes walk-ins and is reasonably priced. For you skeptics out there: give Dr. Soloway a chance. I am not "addicted" to his treatments and I don't have to keep returning regularly for readjustments. I go back on an as-needed basis when the pain returns, roughly around once a year. Dr. Soloway knows how to fix up your back perfectly, without all that hippie-dippy, new-age, incense/karma BS. here, it's all about business, and that business is putting your spine back into alignment. definitely ask to go on the roller beds before your adjustment. soooo relaxing and it really loosens up your back too. you can also make an appointment with a massage therapist at this office. ask for maria -- she's great! you can make an appointment or just walk in. and to top it off, they take most insurance. woo hoo! :) read more

My daughter was struggling with jaw pain for over 2 weeks. Dr. Soloway was very helpful and explained some of the reasons that was causing the pain. Been having lower back pain due to a Soccer injury. I'd get a sharp pain running down my left buttock down to my heal. I had difficulty bending, twisting, pulling, pushing and squatting. Needed to find a chiro who could address my scoliosis and associated pain. Disappointed that at my first appointment my intake paperwork was not even read or reviewed by the doctor. I felt rushed and was not given the time or attention by the dr. to even fully understand my condition. It felt like he had other clients that were more pressing and a higher priority. In addition,I was not offered any other therapies or pain management other than the occasional chiropractic adjustment. Not a good resource and was very unhelpful dealing with my pain. I would not recommend this chiropractor for anyone dealing scoliosis or pain. read more

Dr. Soloway is tops! I've never been to a chiropractor before, but I popped a rib in my back and it was super painful to even breathe. They warmed up my back on a roller machine, felt pretty good, I almost fell asleep. Then Dr. Soloway did a quick adjustment. I'm not a small person. Very tall, and plus size. Let's make this a habit. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience today, with this doctor and with chiropractic treatment altogether. There's ample parking and the office is very modern and clean. The staff is kind and the doctor is charming. He listened to my concerns and made recommendations to mitigate pain. I enjoyed the part where they used what looks like a gun, and it pounds your back (or in my case it was all about my shoulder). It was strong, just what I needed. I've tried deep tissue massage at spas, but it's never hard enough. So this was great. Then the doctor made my neck and back crack, which I didn't know was possible, but felt very good. I have been seeing Dr. Solway on and off for ten years, on an as needed basis. He's great and his treatments are quick and to the point. I visit the office on a more or less bi-weekly basis these days. I pop in for a quick chat around the NBA/NFL and snapcracklepop we're done. But the main draw for me lately has been the masseuse, Angela. She has been a blessing. I am a rather large individual, 6'7" 250lbs, and play seasonal sports including basketball, softball and volleyball. I wish I had pursued sports medicine earlier in life so I could have received proper PT for injuries incurred. But Angela has made such an impact lately. She a consummate professional, she is skilled in her craft and very attentive to patient needs. I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated after a session, not only physically but mentally. Dr. Soloway is great. I have gone to him for many years. I do not want to be a fan of the chiropractor, but it sure works. I highly recommend this office. Dr. Soloway's style is well suited to handle those "new-age" types (thanks, Sandya for the laugh), as well as those of us who can't stand to hear our spine go "crunch crunch" - in other words, the doctor is personable, professional, and he pays attention to his patients. This office has a very friendly, casual atmosphere. Appointments are always easy to make - even if the "appointment" is a phone call to say that I am driving over and will be there in a few minutes. The response is always, "Sure, come on over." There is rarely any wait. As the other reviewer said, do take advantage of the roller bed, which adds about 10 minutes to your visit. I wish I could have one of these things at home. Payment, insurance, and other "front desk" stuff is always handled efficiently, and prices are very fair. Parking is easy - just don't over-shoot the parking lot off Newport Blvd. - look for the "spine" sign. read more

And since I have chronic shoulder pain that shoots up my neck! I am treated with an ultra sound device. Being skeptical and trying out a few chiropractors in the past, I decided and to give Dr. Dave a try and he is now the only chiropractor that I trust with my back care.
