I see some very negative reviews but they appear to be from many years ago so probably whatever was wrong has turned around.

The results under her guidance are far superior to other PT experiences I've had. After total knee replacement, Monique, and as well Mr. Ho, encouraged and marshaled the enormous confidence and motivation required to get off the walker and cane. In only four weeks they added 70 degrees range of motion to the knee, which led to crucial cancellation of an imminent second operation to remove scar tissue. With only one doctor at this practice, the game of three-card monte between the examination rooms tends to be the sole bottleneck to their appointment efficiency. Brynn is the great radiologist they have on staff now that they no longer need to outsource simple imaging to GCM downstairs. Laptop's probably a few years old so high-resolution images are slow to load, but that step has finally been added to the assistant's task list in order for the doctor to utilize his time and attention providing medical advice. The walls are almost thick enough to ensure complete privacy, and waiting room seating is small but comfy with Times and Sports Illustrated reading material. Examination rooms are mostly kept hygienic, and my casts were set for my fractures' best possible outcomes. Everyone here is quite friendly. Kelly at reception is a godsend, and proof of the proverb "behind every great man stands a great woman." She's helpful and efficient in all administrative details, and managed to prevent at least one nervous breakdown by expediting/resolving several issues with my insurance company. Phone call reminders of upcoming appointments are delivered by a real person, and you typically keep possession of all your films. I'm under the impression that the only time you get bumped from the schedule is when a patient requires urgent surgery, and even then you at least get a day's notice. As with any medical appointment, you're more likely to stay on schedule if you aim for early morning slots. Dr. Christopher Farrell has working relationships with two reputable hospitals, several surgeons well-qualified in other sub-specialties for second opinions, and half a dozen practices offering outpatient therapy. He has a pretty face and a pretty good bedside manner: come ready with your questions, and don't expect him to anticipate questions (or completely recall your case). He doesn't offer recommendations for any product or procedure that he wouldn't suggest for himself. He has been recognized multiple times by an industry publication as well as a local metropolitan magazine for his quality of orthopedic care, and overall I am sufficiently satisfied to support those accolades in the context of sports medicine.

I didn't realize the first place I visited didn't have physical therapists on staff. My stereotype of a chiropractor is someone who snaps your neck and walks on your back (slight exaggeration). My doctor suggested ATI. I walked into a clean, organized space. Everyone was in uniform. All of the furniture matched. The patient tables were in great condition and looked like my "stereotype" of a physical therapy office. There were crisp, white towels folded under each patient table. The exercise equipment looked new (so that's what exercise equipment looks like). There was a candy dish on the counter (I KNOW what a candy dish is). The physical therapist was kind and patient. He asked great questions about each area of pain. Even though Christopher *tortured me and I wanted to punch him, he was awesome. *Torture, i.e. lightly touched my injured areas and had me do baby exercise movements. He took detailed notes on all of my decrepedness and really paid attention to what I was saying about my injuries. When his light touch was too much, he would give me a break. After each "torture" session, you get heat treatment. Yummy! I have more treatments to go but I feel good about my decision to visit this place. I just want to be in the best condition possible so I can clean my house without being in pain. It still hurts to laugh hard.......

I was sent to get x-rays that only after 7 months, and several physical therapy sessions not treating the problem, did Dr. Kessous return my calls. While in the office for my one visit, I was billed $180 for night splints that were the wrong size, I do not use, and they would not accept a return (these can be purchased for $20-30 at your local pharmcy). I was also sold $45 off-the-shelf orthotics that actually worsened my plantar fascistis. I should also note that the x-rays were a separate bill ($70 out of pocket). Because I had not had any results from the x-rays or word from the doctor on either my bill or my physical therapy, I cancelled a follow-up appointment for which I was then billed another $40. The billing office was terrible and unresponsive but finally (8 months later) credited me those last $40. In the end, I received better advice and more attentive service from the salespeople at my local running store.
