However, I bought a nice classic car for a tidy sum from one of the brothers and the engine was supposed to have been rebuilt around 100 miles prior to me buying the car. When I asked for receipts, he didn't have any. I test drove it and it ended up with a severe oil leak from the timing chain cover. Once he fixed the oil leak I test drove it again and bought it. On my way home to Florence, it started running really rough and I nursed it to my garage and let him know what happened. I ruled out all the easy stuff and found out it had tapered plugs instead of the old school flat washer plugs then I decided to check compression and cyl-4 didn't have any. On 3 separate conversations he said I could bring it back and he'd refund the money. Stand-up guy, right? I thought so too. Then when I was ready to trailer it back, he went back on his word. Needless to say, if he is a reflection of the companies integrity then they're integrity is in question and I would be very careful. He talked a good game but went back on his word. Eventually he offered a little money to have the engine rebuilt again which I accepted. Too little, too late.

Her enthusiasm about how beautiful my floor could look was contagious. She suggested just polyurethane without stain for the best look, and she was right. I'm sure she does these jobs all the time, but for me, it was a big event, so I appreciated that my satisfaction was clearly important to her. The floor looks as good today as it did a year ago when I meant to write this review.

Robert did a fantastic job presenting us with our options, getting us realistic timetables for the order to arrive, and taking great notes for each room. The install crew, led by Corey did a wonderful job both with the carpet and the luxury vinyl planking. Corey was very communicative throughout the project, and his crew was professional and (clearly) a great bunch of guys. I can't say enough positive words about the entire experience - I told them, "I hope I don't have to see you for a while, but if I do need carpet work, I will not hesitate to contact CCW."

I openly informed the employee helping me that I would be purchasing my window blinds from a family member in Chicago but needed to look at the color selections from their HD book. ( I'm building a new home and could potentially have purchased all flooring and tile from THEM). My second visit the following day I took my family member visiting from Chicago with me ( she didn't have her HD sample book with her on her visit). The employee directed us to the sample books and was polite and left the store leaving only Mr. Spangler at the store with us. When I walked to the front of the store to ask him a technical question, he refused to answer or help me stating "Why would I help you when you've made it clear you aren't going to buy from me?" He got visibly upset that we were in his store and looking at his samples and accused my family member of being incompetent if she couldn't answer my question! After my astonished reaction to his rudeness and mean attitude, he physically approached the blind sample books and asked us to leave his store!!! I reminded him of other product sales I could purchase from him but now would go out of my way to discourage others from doing business with him. He proceeded to GIVE ME THE FINGER as we left telling him what a mistake he had made! Mr. Spangler is too old to understand how business works and should leave and let his employees run the business! I have never been treated so bad in my 38 year professional career.
