This is a very racists place that discriminated on me and my husband the moment we entered the store.

He ensured the carpet we were selecting would meet our needs and got us scheduled within our timeline. Our Carpet installer and stretcher was Pedro, however to me he was Gepetto. Pedro is a true craftsman, he takes such care and pride in his work - I don't have the words - he and his team member did such a fantastic job!!! The new carpet is beautiful and the carpet stretching was remarkable - the old carpet looks almost new. Thank you Sean and thank you Pedro (Gepetto)

Excellent experience from selection at the large showroom with lots of samples, styles and weight…read moreto the finished install! Very good communication about product availability and when the carpet that was very affordable arrived at the warehouse. I enjoyed shopping local with an experienced sales person, and not dealing with a big box store. The carpet selection was discussed with her and she helped in the decision. The high traffic area needed a certain type of carpet composition and didn't need to be 88 oz weighted carpet like in the rest of the house. Large selection of premium carpet and pad samples in the show room at economy to various diamond premium price points. Bought carpet during a holiday sale before the end of the year. Scheduling of install was easy and worked around our limited availability. The sale person even had the installers scheduled to move a upright 44 inch Baldwin piano and furniture into the garage. I felt appreciated for the purchase by installers and the main installer did an excellent job with the skim coat to smooth out a dip in the expansion seams and the other veteran installer fixed two creaky stairs. Very friendly and I would hire that team again. The team was quick but took the time to clean by the truck and all of the carpet strains near cuts off the floor and baseboards. Attention to detail and pride in finished product shows. I didn't have to clean up in the driveway or street , when install team left. Experienced staff and service. Will use this OBriens carpet one flooring on academy rd in colorado springs again. Thank you. I recommend this location to anyone looking for an excellent experience and careful handling of process from selection of flooring to final install and clean up. Better experience than I had from another different discounted flooring business in Colorado Springs.

Even though Blake--the appraiser with the necessary expertise--was out of the country, they worked with him to get the right information and made appropriate referrals. In the end, Blake did the work on my tapestry. He was a fount of information, connecting his own research with my family's story to validate the source of the tapestry and help me sort out family value from monetary value. This allowed me to make the best decisions about how to insure and transport the art. I highly recommend Blake and The Art Bank and would use them again!

I…read morebought an Oriental rug two years ago for my bedroom and when I was ready to purchase rugs for my entryway, formal dining room, living room, and breakfast room, I, of course, went back to the Art Bank. Rich, Butch, and Eddie made the search for my new rugs such a pleasure. These gentlemen know their product and were so patient flipping rug after rug then were kind enough to bring my selections to my home for the final selection. So great working with Colorado natives and true experts in their field. I highly recommend the Art Bank to anyone who wants a quality piece for their home. Karen K. Robinson

My sisters and I visited this store during Black Friday and we were very aggressively kicked out…read moreby the owner. The reason? For sitting on a couch. Yes, simply sitting on a piece of furniture. The owner not only screamed at us to leave but shoved a candle in my sister's face yelling at her to get off the couch. Not once asking us politely. They even went so far as to call security. Falsely accusing us of misconduct, stating that we were throwing candles and damaging the merchandise. None of this was true. There was no signage indicating that sitting on the furniture was prohibited, and it appears that this unjust treatment was influenced by discriminatory attitudes. My sisters and I are of a Hispanic background and while we were getting yelled at by the owner and employee, our white friend was excluded. Coincidence? As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect. The behavior displayed by the owner and employee was unacceptable and completely uncalled for. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. No business owner should lie to security, get physical with their customers, or yell at customers when they are not causing any harm. This business needs to learn how to treat all customers kindly regardless of their background/race. I also strongly suggest this business prints out some "DO NOT SIT" signs and place them on their couches.
