Tried to make an appointment with this place and was cutoff off before being even able to just talk to them about what was going on with my pet. Almost felt like because they are so busy it warranted her to be rude. I even asked if in the future they might have openings for new pets and she said nope I don't ever seeing that happen. Okay then bye bye Karen and here's a review for ya! I am part of the holistic care movement and this is NOT how you treat people. I feel very upset after that conversation!

The prices are also very competitive and are a great value when you consider that your pets get a full Western and Eastern examination. Last October, we lost our golden retriever. I have also recently taken one of my dogs to see Dr Whitstein for acupuncture and he, too, did an excellent job with my shy girl. You truly cannot get better care for your pets anywhere!

Our experience with Oak Hills has been brief but beyond anything we could imagine. My wife and I…read morebrought in our guinea pig, Cooper, who had been losing weight and struggling to eat as usual. Dr. Burright gave us a clear treatment plan along with some tips about what to feed and not to feed him for his diet. She was incredibly accommodating, thorough, and willing to answer my many questions. She and her staff followed up with me every day to check up on Cooper's progress. Unfortunately, our little guinea didn't make it, but we knew we could count on Oak Hills to let him rest in guinea heaven. In our first visit, Dr. Burright assured us that if the time did come, that she would personally supervise Cooper was asleep before he was put down and that he would have company all along. She was very compassionate, as was the rest of her staff. BUT THIS IS WHAT MEANT THE WORLD TO ME... After Cooper was taken into the euthanasia room, Dr. Burright returned to tell us that it was indeed the right and humane decision to let him rest for good. She confirmed all of my suspicions about his progress not being enough to kick his illness and ensured I felt good about what was undoubtedly a very tough decision. Words can't explain just how much that means to hear from a professional, especially at a time of such heartache. Letting your pet go is never easy, but I felt at total peace knowing Dr. Burright and her staff were looking after Cooper until his last seconds. If they hadn't already done the world for him, they also sent us a flower arrangement the next day to express their condolences. We were touched. I can't recommend a veterinary clinic any more than I do Oak Hills, they are First Class.

We received an excellent quote for the spay and neuter of our two kittens, and the value and quality of care were so impressive that we actually drove from out of state to have the procedures performed there. Dr. Eggert is one of the most dedicated veterinarians I have ever met. Time and again, she has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond, often helping pets after hours when many clinics would have turned them away. Creekside Vet Clinic combines outstanding medical care with a level of heart and commitment that is truly remarkable. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Also love that the technician and doctor were both engaging and welcoming! They even showed me what they were doing at all times. 100% will be back for routines of course lol! My experience was okay…read more I made a most difficult decision to let my beloved cat go after a long weekend spent almost entirely in ER trying to figure out why he would no longer eat and why his eye was swelling shut. And an even longer two or three weeks before that fighting to get him to eat. Like others here, Kevin was closer to me than my human family. I was busy with the doctors in ER so my partner called in to make the appointment to ease my stress. He said I was primary contact, but it was difficult to make that clear all the way until the day so communications were continually going to him. Not a big deal in the overall picture, but it didn't make the experience any easier. This was my cat for 8 years before I met my partner and while he loved my baby, I was the one with the lifelong bond. The doctor showed up within the time window allotted. We both found her a little cold. I felt like we were just a job and everything was done by number. My BF picked up my cat and carried him to me, but the doctor said we should do paperwork first which resulted in me putting him down after building up to do what I deemed impossible. I was emotional and crying. This really should somehow be handled before the visit. There were corrections to be made on the form. I was about to lose my baby and this only made me aware that I was filling out his death warrant. I am utterly heartbroken. I know holding your baby until the last minute is catharsis and closure, but I found it traumatizing. His passing was peaceful at least. Everyone's goodbye will be unique, and my example will not necessarily match what others experience. Everyone we spoke to was professional. I just wasn't feeling the compassion.

Their knowledge, urgency, and compassion gave us the answers we needed during an incredibly difficult and emotional time. Everyone who cared for Romie went above and beyond. When it became clear that we needed to say goodbye to our girl, they gave us the time and privacy we needed to be with her. That kindness meant more to us than we can ever adequately express.
