As I had a molar extraction before and found it a difficult procedure, I was prescribed valium and I was told I could pick it up at the pharmacy that day. At the pharmacy, I was told they hadn't received the prescription. The same thing happened after I called a second time. Two days before my extraction, I called to ask for it for the third time. This time I got it, but there were no instructions on the bottle on how and when to take it. I called the office to find out. My call was not returned until the day of the appointment, when they called to say they had forgotten to call me back. Not a problem, I took one an hour before. We left on time for the appointment (my husband was required to drive me) but encountered workers clearing cut trees from the road. We couldn't wait the 30 minutes they said it would take to clear the road, so we backtracked, which would mean arriving 20-30 minutes later to the appointment. I immediately called the office to let them know I would be a little late. I was told that it they could not do the extraction because of the delay. Understand, I had taken the day off, my husband had cleared his morning, I had drugged my self in preparation, and now they were telling me to forget it. This experience ruined my confidence in them and I am so disappointed that I intend to find a new dentist. My husband, also a patient at Cataloochee dental, was told that his crown work would be split between two dentists. He was uncomfortable with this plan to begin with, but after my experience, he too will take his business elsewhere.

I schedule cleanings during my lunch break- I am always back to the office within an hour. Last week I was in Charlotte and chipped my front tooth. I called Dr. Barbles office and they got me in the next day! I was so appreciative because I was self conscious. Dr. Barbles repaired my tooth and made sure both of my front teeth looked better. He is amazing and I highly recommend him !!

Dr. Brenner was very rude with my son and told him that he would have to go to the "baby dentist" if he could not lay perfectly still while he numbed his mouth. Then proceeded to try and make us feel bad at check out by saying "we came in this morning just for you" .. We did not request a special time or visit, this is the appointment we were given by the receptionist over a month ago. I will be canceling all my future visits with this dentist office.

I called the office and asked if it would be possible for Dr. Kurti to see my son. His staff was so very eager to help me and scheduled an appt for my son to come in. After my son saw Dr. Kurti, I spoke with the office once again and they couldn't have been any kinder. They treated him and explained to me what they did. Thank you Dr. Kurti and Staff!!!
