Service was outstanding - warm, welcoming, and prompt. Someone pulled a dine n' dash while I was there and the waitress handled it with calmness and a lot of empathy. Such a class act. The food: - Really nice thick toast with warm butter - Real maple syrup! - Bacon on the crisp side if that's your preference - Excellent eggs - Superb potatoes with just the right balance of crust to fluff (if you know you know) Coffee was refilled regularly and came with real creamer options from the fridge The menu is enormous so I'll be back to try more the next time I'm passing through. read more

I had breakfast this morning at Cora's. I ordered what I'd ordered last week at Cora's in Moncton ... Blueberry fields. It wasn't quite the same as the cream with thinner and there was icing sugar on it. It was really good. When I had them last week, my comment had been that I'd thought I'd been given the smaller order. Today, the order was quite substantial and I couldn't finish it all. Courtney was my server. Nice spot uptown! Came here to celebrate my bday with my wife and mother! Can't go wrong with a place that specializes in breakfast . Nice view of Germain street from big windows, big spot, in Brunswick Square Mall. Ordered Cora's Special - 2 eggs, bacon , sausage , pancakes and potatoes ( with onions and cheese) $12.45 .. Server knew it was my birthday and brought out a "birthday bird" made of apples aha. Nice! Coffee was offered many times and was fresh! Our server had a lovely accent and was very nice and polite. There are limited sit down breakfast restaurants in Saint John. The menu at Cora's was extensive! They had so many options! The portions were enormous and our waitress was very friendly, although quite busy. They were very flexible with substitutions in the menu items. All the food came out piping hot and they had something to cater to every taste! read more

We stopped here for breakfast before our tour of Saint John. Cora's Breakfast & Lunch is a popular restaurant chain in Eastern Canada and located primarily in downtowns. This restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Brunswick Square shopping center. The place was already filled up with tourists and locals around 10:00AM on a weekday morning. We were seated at a two person booth, which felt a bit cramped and we needed to hold up the menus to decide what we wanted. The menu offers crepes, waffles, omelettes. egg dishes and other breakfast items at moderate prices. I had the April 89 which was a huge crepe filled with fresh fruit, vanilla & chocolate custards, very sweet and filling. My travel buddy had the Cora's Special (three eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, & fresh fruit), which he really enjoyed a lot. The coffee was pretty good too and we got several refills of coffee. The service was pretty good and quick on this visit. We were all good to go for our visit to the New Brunswick Museum down the hill. Lots of walking ahead of us. Fruit filled, fairly healthy, delicious. Service is poor. 50 minute wait time, no excuse given until we complained. "Larger tables take longer." Says Jocelyn, the floor manager. We had a table of 4, and two toddlers. Larger table? Same size tables were served first... Entered 15 minutes after us. Later told one dish fell on the floor... Could have said so earlier instead of covering her a**. And could have fed the kids who were cranky after a 50 minute wait... No offer of compensation, no clue... Similar wait times experienced at Brunswick square... This review covers both places. Had gone to Cora's once a week for a month... No longer. We will eat at home. read more

Our family of four had a good experience here. While Cora is certainly a chain, they do a decent job of serving up breakfast and lunch fare. Service is friendly and efficient and the menu is quite varied with both sweet and savory options. Usually good service, food comes fast, large menu and tasty food. I am a big fan of their veggie griddle because of all the veg. I even like to substitute the side of fruit with more veg. I had their Crepomelette the first time and it was a bit of heaven. Their food always tastes fresh and is a good option if you want to go somewhere other than K's or 3 Mile. read more

This review is for the location in parkway mall. Went in for a bite in noon time..When you first walk in theres a line up..thinking its busy and pack which is normal..but it was not busy at all!! People infront of us started to walk out the door which i was wondering why..i know why now..the servers walk pass all of us but they dont even bother looking or even greet you..they just let you stand there..how hard is it to greet us and tell us to wait? After waiting in line for 20 mins looking like fools. We decided to leave..and clearly when we were leaving the server saw us but she had the face of "whatever I don't give f*** please leave" I'm glad we didn't stay for the meal..we will never be back..but wait your employees don't give a f*** anyways. read more

Great breakfast, good coffee, nice service! We had the Blueberry Fields and the Buckwheat Blessing. My wife and I enjoyed them both. The English Creme on the pancakes was unusual for us. I enjoyed it but it was even better with the syrup. Lots of fruit on the Buckwheat Blessing all of which was fresh and tasty. The sausage and cheddar was good too. Great find for fresh fruit & smoothies. We shared a cocktail of the day (pineapple, apple, mango, and peach) and a hot chocolate. Husband had a banana, chocolate, & custard crepe- it was decadent and the size of his forearm. I had an egg salad sandwich (simple ingredients of eggs, mayo, green onion, & celery) on gluten free bread. The serving was huge (2 sandwiches since the bread slices were smallish) and the fresh fruit that came with it was delicious and ripe. Service was also fast and friendly. My wife and I go out for breakfast once a month at Cora's. The coffee is great and the staff are friendly! Usual wait time averages about 25mins. The food is so delicious and the prices are fair for what you get. The eggs Benedict has to be one of my favourite breakfast items on the menu! read more
