One quoted $7,000.00 (including paint job), but when he found out is was truly a hole, he wouldn't return my calls to set up the work. Exasperated, I did a search for welders and found Jason. He laughed when I explained the problem. Said he hears it all the time and cannot imagine why, as it's not at all difficult - at least not for Jason. Sure enough, he came to me and got right to work. The man is an artist in metal. Knocked it all out in three hours, just as he had estimated over the phone. He even gave me a spray can of very professional cold galvanizing primer ACE Hardware doesn't carry at no additional charge just to make certain the repair lasts. One man shop, run by a good man who knows what he is doing and offers very fair pricing - a real gem in today's world. I can recommend Rougarou Metal Works without reservation and as 30-year business owner myself, I know what constitutes a pro. Jason is a pro and a really good guy. It was weird that they would spring this on me now and said that there was confusion from Orlando (Didn't even know who Orlando was) but I said OK just please install it and I tried to be nice. The corporate office saw the railing and asked me if it was actually fabricated, or just purchased as a section out of curiosity, so I paid them for the whole railing thanked them and simply called to ask the question if it was fabricated or just purchased as a section, and the lady I was speaking with rudely said "Were you here?? How do you know we didn't fabricate it??" Whoa! I told her I didn't really care and was asking for my customer, why are you getting an attitude? and wished her luck and said thank you. Then tough guy Orlando calls me to scream and yell at me, at the top of his lungs, dropping many F-bombs screaming, That's my effi*n wife! mother eff*er! several times. I recorded the call. He continued to yell and scream at the top of his lungs cursing out and threatening a new customer who paid in full all because his rude wife had an attitude about a simple question. Very unstable people!!! This is not a professional man you want at your house or business!!! If I didn't hang up he would still be yelling and dropping F bombs. It was that creepy and out of control. Hard to believe these people are in business at all.

The office worker was nice enough but when she took me back to review my project with the machinist he could not be bothered with me. Basically saying i should leave and if i wanted to come back some other time to talk to the owner because "he didn't have time." Needless to say i left very frustrated and would not recommend the shop to any of my friends. I do a fair amount of metal work and fabrication and could not believe the way i was treated. This is a definite poor rating.

When I called this place the guy I spoke to was very polite and helpful. He let us know that he would be able to help us that same day as soon as he was done with the job he was heading to at that moment. He called my boyfriend within 30 minutes and said he would be here in 15 minutes. My boyfriend said that the weld looks great and price was very reasonable. All in all very professional, quick, and reasonably priced. If you need something welded I would definitely recommend calling this place.
