Went through eight body shops and the most common response was "it can't be done". One quoted $7,000.00 (including paint job), but when he found out is was truly a hole, he wouldn't return my calls to set up the work. Exasperated, I did a search for welders and found Jason. He laughed when I explained the problem. Said he hears it all the time and cannot imagine why, as it's not at all difficult - at least not for Jason. Sure enough, he came to me and got right to work. The man is an artist in metal. Knocked it all out in three hours, just as he had estimated over the phone. He even gave me a spray can of very professional cold galvanizing primer ACE Hardware doesn't carry at no additional charge just to make certain the repair lasts.
