Not my favorite place to go. Used to come here when I was attending DeSales as it is right down the street. I've had three different dishes from them and all of them were average at best, especially the Buffaloes chicken wrap. During happy hour you have to sit at certain high tops or the bar to get the specials which is a bit frustrating, especially if it's busy because there aren't many places to sit. My boyfriend took me here on one of our first dates. From the outset I didn't expect to be overly impressed because it put me in mind of the old Bennigan's or Applebee's. They're not bad places with bad food but they're nothing special. I soon realized I misjudged this place completely. We sat at the bar and I noticed imediately how attentive and genuinely friendly the staff was. This may seem like a small thing but it is key for me. And its obviously a part of the culture of the restuarant. We have been to both locations and I have yet to encounter anyone there that doesn't make your stay more pleasant. The manager of this location, Nick is visible and available for staff and guests. The waitstaff and bar staff are young, cute and on the ball. The food? Unbelivably good. The turkey dinner sandwich comes with real, carved from the bone turkey piled impossibly high. My burgers both as sliders and a full burger have always been cooked to perfection and on bread that tastes like it was fresh baked to order. If you're smart you'll do yourself a favor and order one of their delectable desserts to go. The food here was very good as it usually is. The problem is they advertise happy hour specials on certain drinks and this is the second time in a row that I have been charged full price for my happy hour drinks. Both times the server came back with an adjusted bill and ironically enough the exact same excuse for both times - something about the register not ringing it up right. Funny how the same thing happened both times and also how it always seems to be in their favor and not the customers. So to sum this place up - good food but double check your bill to ensure you are not being overcharged. read more

I ordered chicken with the garlic stuff on it and the garlic was so overwhelming . My girlfriend got a steak medium well and it was more medium - medium rare . My girlfriend accompanied me on one of my overnight business trips to the Allentown area. It was a Monday night, and by the time we checked into our hotel, it was getting kind of late. If I was traveling solo, I would have grabbed a quick bite at the hotel bar and called it a night. We were hungry, but were told by the hotel front desk that not many of the restaurants in downtown Bethlehem were open on Monday nights. We had spotted this restaurant on the drive in, and made our way back to it. We were greeted by two girls and one guy at the hostess stand. They all seemed rather disinterested in their jobs, and actually carried on a conversation amongst themselves for a solid 15 seconds after we showed up in front of them. One of them finally led us to a table right next to a rather lively bunch of frat looking boys watching a basketball game on TV. The place was hardly packed, so we were surprised that she would select this table. We asked if we could have a quieter table next to one of the walls. She agreed, but we got a rush of 'tude from her as she huffed her way to the table and literally threw our menus down. On the bright side, our waitress was very friendly and took the time to answer some of our menu questions. She made a couple of suggestions, too. The food was average bar fare. It was not terrible, but not memorable either. The recommended chili was okay, until I bit into a nasty piece of gristle. The decor can best be described as sparse. It tries to be a sports bar and grill, but feels like someone converted a plain open meeting space without much effort or thought put into it. I would hardly go out of my way to visit it when back in the area again. The same gaggle of hostesses were there when we left, and could not even be bothered to look up and say goodbye. Two suggestions for it - can get a little pricey - have local friends that go out of their way for drinks elsewhere on that fact alone. Used to go here quite frequently. Always had an enjoyable experience--the she crab soup, ribs, nachos and wings are damn good. But the trick at this place is getting seated in able TO order. On two of the last three visits, we walked out before being seated. The last time, about three weeks ago, we stopped in BEFORE dinner rush and numerous tables open...we waited 15-20 minutes and we were the only party waiting plus we called ahead 10 minutes out. Half the staff was busting their tails at the bar area and at the tables that had folks while the others stood around talking and checking their phones. Let me start by saying I have been to Copperhead before. I will be basing this review on my most previous meal because restaurant quality is known to change overtime. I ordered an American Burger without 1000 island dressing and a side of blue cheese dressing. I was ordering takeout and the gentleman I spoke to said 20 minutes. I arrived in about 20 minutes maybe a few minutes after. The meal was there ready for me along with a smile from the takeout man I spoke to earlier. When I ate my meal I was highly satisfied. The fries were delicious being lightly salted and cooked perfectly. My burger was slightly underdone but had a nice char on both sides that added flavor. I went to this place, always good food and good service but last week it was not. It started at the front door with a manager with a d name, she was very rude to the employees. She treated them with zero respect, and no one there obviously cared for her. We saw that all night. Then our waiter, Corey i think, was just terrible. Let's face it: it's the only game in town and it is ALWAYS busy. Decent standard bar food. While the service can be hit or miss, our waiter Andrew was spot on. We asked if they could turn down the overhead speaker which was blaring the football game, and I swear they turned it up! If you want to watch the game, and eat with a group of fans, GO! Very disappointed at this place. Ordered 2 French Onion soups, coconut shrimp and the pulled pork nachos. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out and when it did, the server only brought out the two soups. That wouldn't have been a big deal except it were three of us. We were not going to eat our soup while the other just sat there watching. So we told the server to bring out the shrimp. That took another 10-15 minutes. Initially when the soup arrived I cut through the mozzarella cheese and you can tell the soup sat for a bit because it wasn't hot. Eventually when we ate. The soup was ok. Warm and was made with mozzarella cheese only instead of the combination of gruyere. The pulled pork nachos were inedible. My Exec chef fiancé who never sends food back, sent this back. He said it could have been many reasons why it tasted this way. The coconut shrimp was good and my son loved his milk shake. Maybe this place is more suitable for beers and bar food. The manager did come over and apologize for our bad experience and they did remove the nachos from the bill which was appreciated. We just really wanted to enjoy good food. read more

No complaints about food. Service was horrible. Sitting at the bar is like sitting in a beginning bartenders class. The trainers are worse than the trainees and the managers are the worst. I saw topping off Blue Moon with Miller Lite because the waitresses are so slow picking up drink orders. But how many times is Miller Lite garnished with an orange? Get ice cubes to hit bartenders in the head to get attention to get another beer. read more

My friends and I come here very frequently as it is super convenient down the road and very nice and reasonable on their wing nights. My friend and I decided to order take out on a Monday night and thought we would get the same service we usually do. I ordered the chicken fajitas for myself and an entree of the white cheddar Mac and cheese for my boyfriend. I made sure that whoever was taking the order on the phone got the order right and they repeated to me "an entree of white cheddar Mac and cheese". They told me it would be 15 minutes and my friend hers would be 30 plus minutes. We walked in after about 30 min and went to pay and I noticed my receipt said crab Mac and cheese which is double the price of an entree of regular Mac and cheese. I asked the bartender and she said oh they must have rung it in wrong. She then asked us if either of us ate crab and me and my boyfriend both responded no. Then she seemed frazzled and went to talk to her manager. Then both her and the manager came out and asked us if they could just charge us for the regular Mac and cheese but give us the crab....even after we both said that we did not eat crab. Both looking frazzled again she goes well they can make it again but you'll have to wait - but don't worry it should be out in 10 minutes at the most. So there we were sitting and waiting, while might I mention extremely hungry (my friend had her food and had to wait with it through all of this) and after 15 minutes she offers us - water. No apps no sodas just water. My boyfriend thought this was an offer for a free add on or something so he asked for fried Oreos added on to the meal. She said no problem. Then after 25 minutes the Mac and cheese finally came out right and then we got our updated bill. The Mac and cheese had the correct price this time however we got no discount at all AND were charged full price ($8) for the Oreos! Just paid the bill because we were all so tired of waiting and tried to enjoy our cold food when we got back. Will take a lot for me to return here. Truly truly disappointed. read more

I've driven past this restaurant many times and noted that the parking lot always seems full, so decided to give it a try. Good choice! Most of the patrons appeared to be locals - not college students, ever though it is close to several colleges. This bar food is as good as it gets (sauces are really good - both the hot sauce on the wings and the barbeque sauce on the ribs). The floor plan is open - nice contrast to many other crowded sports bars. Atmosphere is lively but not too noisy - lots of giant screen TVs showing a variety of sporting events. Good draft beer selection. Service is attentive but not intrusive. We'll be back! read more

We had a family gathering today to celebrate our mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother's birthday and her life! There were 28 of us ranging in age from 7 months to 86 years old. We had the BEST SERVICE and the food was EXCELLENT! They were so accommodating and everyone had a smile on! The food came very quick and was hot! When you go, you've got to try the sweet potato fries or the mashed sweet potatoes. DELISH! We have decided that this is going to be an annual event for us and it was unanimous ......
