I was in the office of Copper Steppe Apts this past week, and as I normally do when needing to do something, there is a person by the name of Lucinda.
As I was in the waiting area, she was talking about other residents that lived here.
She said that this was a "shitty apartment complex",
She was aware that someone had deficated in the pool, "but it's not my problem"! Was her response to a person in the office with her. The pool was never drained and discontaminated, I've lived here for 4 years and never have known such neglect and absolute disregard of human safety. There were numerous children and adults that had gotten sick because they continued to keep the pool open! E-Coli is a serious thing, and she didn't care. She talks about other residents, not caring who hears. She's sending notices to people that the rent is going up, and if the paperwork is not signed by the residents that they will report to all 3 Credit Bureaus! These people are all on Housing Vouchers, they did not contact the Housing Authorities for them to handle for the residents! They said it has to be signed and turned in to the office or risk our credit,,, really???!
Lucinda, should not be in the position she is in, she is negligent, rude, snide, she walks around with her nose in the air, and looks down on people, she would talk about them after they leave and say something rude then laugh about it,, and,, obviously, no concern for the residents here at Copper Steppe.
I use to be proud to live here, and have brought a few people to live here in the complex.
But it's at the point if I have to go to the office, it takes everything I have to get in and out.
It is a uncomfortable environment to be in the office when she's there because you don't know what's she's going to say about you when you leave.
She doesn't ask what she needs from you, her tone is very condescending, and tells you what needs to be done. If there is other management in the office, her attitude is horrible, if you question something with her and the management personnel is there, she makes it a point to be a little louder than need be to get her point across to you, it's uncomfortable, embarrassing, then she will sneer at you, then smile and look over to the person/people in the room, like, "look at me, I am in charge" attitude. To the point where you don't want to make eye contact with anyone because of the embarrassment or even want to go back in there for anything. If it's a personal issue, she won't talk in private, she has to be at her desk so people can hear.
I have talked to others here and they don't want to face her to have anything done for their home because it will take longer than it should to get her to have maintenance get to their ticket.
This is unfortunate, this was a great place to live, but knowing that there is someone in that position that doesn't care about the property or the residents is very frustrating. I'm not the only resident that feels this way.
I know you guys stick together, and nothing will be done, but I'm going to contact the news and let them know about the residents getting sick because of the fecal matter in the pool and how it was never drained, *to this day*, or yet to be throughly cleaned. No notices went out, nor have they closed the pool. We/residents are absolutely beside ourselves the way the apartment complex has gone down hill in the last couple months.
I will be moving when my lease is up and will be for-warning others from living and moving here. This will also be put on the review of the complex as well.
Best Regards
Terry
