Over 4 years we have had 4 different management companies. A slew of different maintenance supervisor. An obscene amount of office employee. The turnover means a whole lot of mismanagement. They never are on the same page as a management, and we where told that the office employees don't have access to maintenance record. On 11/25 I put in a service order for our washer. Every appliance in our apartment is decade's old, and hasn't probably ever been replaced. The washer was not spinning the clothes the way it should. Maintenance said they would order a new washer and it would be here MONDAY OR TUESDAY of the following week. That would have been 11/30, 11/31ish. That week came and went without any communication about the washer. Ok it's Thanksgiving week, the next week came and went, still ZERO COMMUNICATION. Monday 12/9 I finally call. They say it was on backorder. 12/16 we call again, as they haven't bothered to follow up with us at all, they say it's been ordered. Still no washer .. 12/19 my spouse goes into the office and they tell him it will be here on Friday 12/20. All day we wait, ZERO COMMUNICATION again from them, 1pm my husband calls. Office worker says they are about to go into a meeting she will bring it up, 4pm we heard not a single word, they didn't bother to follow up once again, what a surprise. My husband goes into the office and they proceed to tell him basically all well. He ask to speak with property manager and he is told he is busy. Staff tells him maintenance is on vacation, and wont be back till the 1st of the year and their closed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Which means we will continue to be without a washer till after the 1st of the year. They refuse to provide any information for the property management group besides an email. They offer a different unit to go to, meaning we have to haul our laundry back and forth from another unit. This is acceptable for a few loads but week after week is ridiculous, and they couldn't care less about the inconvenience. Oh and someone was suppose to come and clean out the fire hazard dryer lint from our dryer, and they basically forgot about it and never even put in for someone to come out. I could write multiple pages of issues. It took all of the summer for them to fix the large and dangerous potholes in the parking lot, and for some reason prioritized remodeling the office and pulling out bushes. They never keep the breezeway clean. There was thousands of hornets all over the complex this summer, and the cthey pulled out all the bushes making it 100 times worse. I should also mention the mice, they complete work orders without ever sending pest control, and refuse to patch the holes behind stove allowing them in. Our first year here it took their maintenance 9 months to figure out that the banging on our bedroom wall was the huge amount of sediment build up in our water heater. Once they finally did figure it out their mantinence supervisor Hector flipped me off and called me a bitch for becoming frustrated. Edit to add- On Friday they said that the empty apt would be left open for us to use the washer in that unit, today when we went, guess what? Apt is locked, what a surprise. I wish I could give zero stars. I was told to submit anything maintenance related through the portal when I moved in last year--they didn't want to do a walk through with me--too much work. So I did my own "walkthrough" by myself and submitted 10 work orders. I received 10 emails confirming receipt of the requests but no one ever contacted me to resolve the requests. I had to call numerous times to get the requests handled by maintenance. This happens every time I submit a request: somehow the request gets deleted in the system and no one knows about it until I call. Josh is helpful but he's not even the maintenance person for our complex--he works for the complex across the street, Ranchstone, which apparently gets their maintenance requests handled in a timely manner according to the property manager who answered my third call about my fireplace. There was a water main break in Dec 2022 and the exposed and cut drywall is still dangling from the ceiling in the breezeway (June 2023). When they cut open the ceiling, they left all the debris in front of my door and breezeway floor, didn't clean up anything, and I called and emailed them multiple times. I swept up the mess in front of my door myself and after countless calls and emails, the maintenance man showed up and cleaned up most of the debris in the breezeway but the drywall debris is still all over the steps in the stairwells. This is supposed to be a non-smoking complex but the tenants in at least two of the units in my building are seen smoking (and smoke billows through the breezeways affecting the rest of us and through the HVAC system so I have the smoke entering my unit) on their patios. The property manager has been told about this since day one when I moved in and they do nothing about it. My kids and I now have sinus and congestion issues because the smoke enters our unit through the ducts and we can smell it in every room of our apartment. We can't even have our patio door open because the smoke comes into our unit that way too. So I spend more money on electricity to keep the unit cool instead of being able to enjoy the fresh air outside. The complex boasts its resort-style amenities--so far from the truth. I've tried to enjoy the hot tub twice in the year I've been here and it's been broken both times. The pool is supposed to be heated in the winter but they were "having issues" with it even last fall. They won't accept packages for you, deliveries aren't made to your door, and you have to pick up your packages (within 3 days or it's sent back to the sender) from the locker hub in the clubhouse which has doors that won't open when you try and leave; I've hurt myself numerous times just trying to open them. This is not "resort-style" in my opinion! They're tearing up and changing all the landscaping around the leasing center to try and attract more tenants but they won't fix the drainage to address the massive pool of water in the parking lot after every rainstorm. You get out of your car and you walk through 3 inches of water. I'm not renewing my lease after the rent and fees increase. And the renewal contract states that you have to make another lump sum security deposit or they can divide it up and add it to your new higher monthly rent payment. I'd be paying almost $2500/mo for a 2 BR with the raised rent, all the fees, and the divided security deposit. Doesn't include a detached garage which would be an additional $125/mo. read more

I wasn't going to post a review here but they forced my hand by illegally withholding my father's deposit money which they claim they owe him (about $200 after they nickel and dimed the move out fees). This is a warning to resolve this problem in a timely manner. If this review can inform someone about the atrocities that this apartment complex allows, I will be satisfied. First of all, raising the rent whilst not making any noticeable improvements or reasonably maintaining the property is unethical. The parking lots have many potholes, there is no shoveling when it snows (also illegal), and the dumpsters are overflowing. The gym, which is mediocre, was constantly 78 degrees. Yikes! It was also pathetic seeing algae in the hot tub and the pool being drained throughout the summer. Secondly, the people who live here are the same quality as the apartments themselves. I've heard multiple fights in the parking lot, from the couple in unit above, you name it! I've also watched parents leave their kids to run wild and scream, running through the hallways. There was also a black widow infestation while I lived there. Double yikes. Thirdly, the apartments themselves are quite horrible for the price paid. $2,033 + $35 pet rent + $100 (avg water bill) + $100 (avg Xcel bill). For a 800 sq ft 1 bed 1 bath apartment. The kitchen was laughably small; two was too many in that space. For some reason my kitchen ceiling was two different colors. The apartment never seemed "right", the door knobs were mismatched, the windows never really closed properly, and the balcony always splintered. All of these details just highlight the overall disrepair and disregard for the quality of this property. I was (and still am) hugely disappointed in this complex. I feel sorry for current residents as they've shared similar sentiments. I hope whoever manages this property can read up on the law for tenancy in Colorado and make serious improvements to this property. read more

You can and should believe all the poor reviews here! These apartments are 17 years old and show every part of the wear and tear. From their website "Welcome to Cherrywood Village where the city fades away and the relaxation begins" They use a service for some utilities named "Conservice" which is just that, A CON! Tried to charge me $85 in admin fee's for my first month. When I complained the leasing manager was very condescending and rude! "I'm sorry you feels that way sir" with a smirk on her face. I have been here 4 months and continually get charged bogus "Vacant Fee's. Leasing agents are friendly but must get worn out by all the complaints they have no control over. Don't believe any of the pictures from the website that were taken 17 years ago and never updated! I'm moving out at the end of my lease! read more

I just want to extend a HUGE thank you to management for the quick response in getting the sidewalks cleaned off after the very large snow storm we experienced over the weekend. With over 20 inches of snow, and the size of the complex, they hired a company to come in and assist maintenance with the snow removal. The company they hired did a fabulous job, and they were so quick. Being disabled I was very concerned regarding how was I going to get to my car, if needed. As usual, they didn't let me down. I have been here 8 years, and management, maintenance, and the office staff, have always met my needs. To everyone at Cherrywood Village, you got a "homerun" again. Just a terrible place to live in general. Rent goes up hundreds of dollars each year and nothing changes around the complex. In fact, things only get worse! They want to charge you for "amenities" that don't work properly and tow your perfectly legally, parked vehicle for "abandonment" if you don't move it every other day. Not a good place to live. Moved here from San Francisco and did everything online. There were roaches in the apt and the staff was extremely rude. One time, there was a dead rabbit fetus on the ground by the pool. I asked if they could have maintenance take care of it. The front desk said there was nothing they could do until Monday. There were kids walking around barefoot out there. I also reported glass broken outside of my apt and it took almost two weeks to get it cleaned up. Desiree and the maintenance staff were great, but they had several others working in the office that were awful. I would not suggest living here. I looked at several apartments and there are others that are around the same price with way better service/quality. read more

I have been living at Cherrywood Village Apts for nearly 5 years now. I've never had any issues. The staff in the office is very kind, friendly and very helpful. Jessie Kim is my absolute favorite because he's the BEST! The maintenance crew are just as good. They always complete any maintenance request within a timely matter. They are also kind and friendly. One of the maintenance worker Taviare "T" Connor came to my apt today due to a request I submitted early this morning. Not only did he fix the problem, he went above and beyond to look at another problem I previous had just to make sure everything is still working as it should. T also decided to replace the item to ensure there are no problems with it in the future. This is why I've still here after 4 1/2 years. I am sharing some pros and cons of this apartment Pros- 1. Very good location 2. Easy access to 470 3. Good school opposite to this apartment(C2E) Cons- 1.We had seen mouse in the corridors many times. There was no regular cleaning for the corridor area. I had to put service request most of the time to do the same. 2. Residents were not disposing pet waste properly and I had to continuously put service request to clean up the pet waste. I had seen pet waste even on the walkway few times. I was worried about my 5 year old son when he was playing outside. 3.Someone stole my locked bike from infront of our apartment. Your response was so fun of BS like you knew nothing that happened. Your the worst so called manager. Saying that your the manager gives hard working managers a really bad name. Your supervisor should have fired you since I had to ask her several times for help because again you feel you do no wrong. That's really horrible. In a manager job you are to know all the rules of your job not have the tenants show you that your wrong or maybe you just don't want to know, so that you can claim your ignorance as your defense. This is by far one of the worst apartments I have ever lived at. At first, I really liked the location and apartment, but as some months passed I began to see many downfalls. My first negative experience began before I even leased. When I was touring different layouts here, I decided on the one I wanted and asked to see the location/outside of the actual unit (the apartment was not vacant so I could not tour the inside). I just wanted to get a feel for the actual location within the complex. The (EXTREMELY rude) associate I was working with--Laura--apparently could not bother to take 2 minutes to do her job and quickly take us over to the unit. Luckily, the manager was kind enough to take us..but the poor service given by the first associate definitely left a bad impression.. Upon moving in, there were several cobwebs, lots of dust, etc..did not look like it was cleaned thoroughly. Additionally, the hallway closet had an extremely strong smell of athletes foot (dirty, dirty feet). I was told they could not do anything about this. To give an idea of how strong the odor is, I store my vacuum in that closet and every time I vacuum the entire apartment smells like dirty feet :( Fast forward a few months and things in the apartment began to fall apart. I know this is normal, but I have NEVER had SOO many things break within just a few months!! My dishwasher, washer, and microwave all broke within a few months. Additionally, the plumbing in the bathroom was awful...My bathtub was completely clogged for at least a week (I put in a maintenance request which took FOREVER to even hear back for). I would think that a clogged bath tub would at least be somewhat urgent, as I was not even able to give my 2 year old daughter a bath! In addition to the many maintenance issues, the office employees are just awful. Not only are they rude, but they have also lost multiple packages of mine....both of which were signed for my office employees. I explained that to them and their response was basically...sorry..no attempt to rectify the situation. I will definitely not be renewing a lease here. I love the location, but dealing with the staff here is just not worth it. I cannot fathom why or how any of these people were hired. read more

When I first moved to the area, it was one of the only places I could find in my price range that would accept my dog. That being said, it was still way over priced. While the apartments look beautiful both inside and out, things are constantly breaking or falling apart. For example, the fireplace- which I was so thrilled about- broke four different times. Each time I would put a work order in, someone would come by to jimmy rig it just to let it break again. The staff seemed very friendly upon my arrival, but once I was moved in, often seemed very condescending. They are sneaky about what they make you pay for and especially with the terms of the lease. I should have done my reviews before moving here because all of the bad reviews are right! The apartments are extremely old with ALOT of damages on the inside! I am afraid I didn't mention all of the damages that were already present at move in. What they don't tell you is they charge you this "conservice" fee every month for the apartment complex use itself! So if your rent is $1390 make sure you have atleast $1497 in your account for "electricity for the apartment complex communal areas" "pest control" "common area gas" and of course a service fee. The first two months I had to pay a "insufficient funds fee" and more than I was anticipating because they kept telling me my rent didn't go through when I definitely head the money AND verified my accounting information TWICE! And they didn't mention anything about conservice when moving in! The outer areas and common areas are a mess and disgusting. I am definitely moving out when my lease ends!! And I'm afraid they will charge me a whole lot about damages I never did! I am already anticipating I won't get much of my deposit back :( do your research! read more

I moved here 3 years ago, still here. The apartments are great and so is the staff. I have signed 3 leases so far and will be leaving since I am buying a home. The place is over 8 years old and has normal maintenance issues. small things like knobs, and appliances not working due to end of life, but nothing major, they are great and I recommend moving here, its a great place for someone who is moving to this city ! read more

I don't really have a problem with the apartments themselves but the management group, Pinnacle, is terrible and I'll never do business with them again. I was month to month the last few months I lived there and paid rent about $500 more per month than my previous lease rate. After I moved out Pinnacle added on about $200 dollars in month to month fees for the time I did not have a lease. They never charged me these fees when I paid my rent and never even told me about these fees and just took them out of my security deposit after I moved. Don't trust anyone there and get everything in writing. read more

They charge $500 more each month when you have to go month-to-month. I live by myself but 1/2 the time have to take barely warm showers even though they have garden tubs (you think there would be more hot water to go around). I get a lot of notices (I've never gotten 1 before elsewhere) and then they are turn them facing out so everyone sees. They don't let you see your specific appartment first so don't be surprised when you have old dirty carpet (I pulled a ton of hair and dirt out of carpet with cleaner before moving in). These must have been constructed nearly 30 years ago and cheap piecemealed upgrades that don't match. My visitors always complain it smells like curry or smoke in my place. The only benefits are the extended porch if you're lucky and it's close to a trail system. read more

The worst apartment I've ever lived at. The AC went out twice last summer, the heater went out lat winter 3 times, and now my AC has been out for 2 weeks. I've submitted reports to get it fixed but to no avail. Staff is rude and acts like it's no big deal. It's 85 degrees in my apartment can't sleep because of how hot it is. I moved 6-1-17 and everything went smooth and easy. The apartment is great and very clean and everything works. I really love the huge jacuzzi tube it's great. The carpet is plush and looks new. Neighborhood is very quiet and kid friendly. No troubles with vandalism or hood type punks here. read more
