One word to describe this place, beautiful. Okay maybe another one is clean and one more nice!…read more This place is amazing. I only came as a guest, which for a day is only $5 (so reasonable), you just need to know a member here. It's so clean and nice. Not the biggest gym, but also not crowded so no trouble getting on a machine, and might I add, the machines are high tech and so cool. Great tv to watch with so many channels. Then you go outside and it's amazing. Huge pool and lap pool that is not crowded at all. Tennis courts, basketball, golf, grilled and cafe area. Definitely a place I would belong to if I lived here full time. I highly suggest. Also, they give you water bottles and have towels in all their machines. Love it!

I want to share my experience with CoronaRita Soccer Club so other parents have full information…read morebefore enrolling. In March 2026, I received an email from the club stating I was "not allowed on school property." Since the fields they use belong to Vail Unified School District (VUSD), I contacted the district directly for clarification. VUSD's Superintendent responded in writing and confirmed that CoronaRita Soccer Club has no authority to restrict anyone's access to district property, and that only the district can make those decisions. The district also confirmed the club's email was not issued or authorized by VUSD. This directly contradicted what the club told me. The club never received any court documents and acted entirely on hearsay from another parent, not on any official information. When I asked for my daughter's soccer schedule, the owner's tone and behavior toward me were, in my experience, threatening, hostile, and unprofessional. Shortly afterward, the club removed my entire household from the program. The timing made the removal appear retaliatory. The owner later sent me a message stating that I was removed due to "threats of legal action, use of inappropriate language, and refusal to respect club policies regarding registration and non‑involvement in civil matters." This message was sent immediately after I asked for my daughter's schedule. None of these claims were supported with any evidence, and the club never received any court documents. The only place these statements appear is in my ex‑wife's family‑court filings, which shows the club acted entirely on hearsay while claiming they "do not get involved in civil matters." Their BBB response included broad accusations but no evidence, no dates, no quotes, and no documentation. In contrast, I have written confirmation from VUSD showing the club misrepresented its authority. I also checked the Arizona Corporation Commission and found that the club has been delinquent for nearly three years, meaning they have not maintained required filings. Many youth sports insurance policies and field‑use agreements require organizations to be in good standing with the state. Operating while delinquent raises real concerns about insurance validity and liability exposure for parents, players, and the district. Based on my experience, the organization lacked transparency, acted without district authority, and did not follow consistent or professional procedures. I'm sharing these documented facts so other families can make informed decisions.

I have driven past this place plenty of times on my way home from work, but never gave it much…read morethought. My son, who is 9, has a buddy who is into most things "race" related. When this buddy started talking about racing his bike at this track, my son started bugging me to go. I finally caved and took him out there on a Friday. What a surprise! If you've never been BMX'ing before, don't worry. Everyone at Desert Sun BMX will be more than happy to help you learn. More than that, they offer a free first session to anyone who wants to ride the track for the first time AND they have plenty of BMX bikes that you can borrow to get going (first come first serve). When I took my son the first time, they even let him borrow a helmet! You'll see kids and adults of ALL ages riding this track. Should you decide to register with the ABA, Desert Sunset will help there as well. Getting registered allows your child (or you) to compete in local ranking with races on Friday and Sunday nights. They have a practice night on Thursdays. Needless to say, my son is now hooked and so am I. There is another BMX course out there called Manzanita, but it is too far of a drive for us East siders. Desert Sunset is run by the Chandler family and has been recently updated to include a larger and longer track. There is a concession stand with a pretty decent food menu, plenty of bleacher seating to see the track and a play area for the little brothers or sisters not ready to ride. It's $5 for practice (on practice nights and race nights) and $10 to race. The track is available for birthday parties and they even have a BBQ grill area you can use. Overall, this is a great and safe place to take your kids who like to ride and run off some steam. I would have loved to have a place like this to ride my bike when I was a kid!

We have participated in many of their adult play nights and now they have a morning weekly group for adults.. so cool! Each of their sessions offers cooperative and low-pressure games for a wide range of abilities. It's so fun connecting with others in the community. I've also had the pleasure of hosting team building events here and their staff is amazing at facilitating activities that meet the needs of the group. This space is so appreciated! It was $50 a couple and all proceeds went to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which we loved supporting! We played fun mirroring and listening games with your date. It was nice to not have a screen and focus on listening and being present while having fun. We also played some group games that involved moderate activity and competition. There was also some free time to explore the facility and the various things to climb, slide, jump on/ off and of course Gaga ball. Coach Kevin and Anna have an amazing local business that we were excited to support and it was super fun to have this experience with some friends that we went to this with.
