Everything I expect in a microbrew! Super nice staff that take time to explain the beers, as well as meet the customers. All the beers are outstanding and their Mexican Chocolate Beer is amazing (and worth the hype). A nice, comfortable place to hang out. My only suggestion would be some bar food (popcorn or peanuts, etc) to snack on, although you may bring your own food in. I wish that I had been as wow-ed by this place as many others have! We went to visit Copper Kettle during GABF week this year. We walked in and just a few others were there. The setup was a bit bland and there seemed to be no one working or interested in talking to about their beer. After we figured out to seat ourselves it took a bit before someone stopped by with a beer menu and then just left. There was no chance to ask questions or chat about the company. We finally ordered a few tasters and all were fine, but I wasn't blown away by any of the beers. Yes, I did enjoy the Mexican Chocolate Stout, but it wasn't so outstanding that I would return here again. read more

I have been here twice now. The first time, it was just okay, 3.5 stars. We went again a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. Small, low key spot in a little strip mall/industrial park. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was hopping - we ended up sharing a larger table with two other groups and ended up chatting with everyone a little bit which was a lot of fun. Friendly crowd. The beers were good too - they were tapping a Japanese brew which I really enjoyed and I also liked the Dreaded Brit I had. They had a food truck outside which was really delicious. The beer is great. They have cards on the table to play and some tables have checkers/chess. There are also lots of board games. So it's a good place to just relax. I almost gave it 3 stars because we actually didn't get great service. We say for about an hour and only had one beer. We would have definitely ordered more but the guy doing table service never came over. I figured it was a fluke though--the staff did seem very nice. And the beer was good enough for 4 stars! One of our favorite places to frequent. They have great beers in a cozy, cafe-like setting. And everyone must try the Mexican Chocolate Stout at least once in their life - at least get a taster! Although they'll allow you to bring in your own food and there are sometimes food trucks, my only suggestion would be to offer peanuts, popcorn, pretzels - anything - as a snack to patrons. read more

Loved the atmosphere of this brewery! It's nice and inviting! Very comfortable- can definitely see taking a book to sit inside and enjoy beers. As for the beer, we were in and out very quickly. I did love the Mexican Chocolate Stout which I had been wanting to try. I don't think I could have more than one of them, but I definitely recommend it. Low key, mellow, relaxing and friendly brewery, hidden away between aurora and Denver. This place is 15 minutes from my place and can't believe I haven't been there before! I loved the ambience, being laid back and having outdoor patio seating and it was a beautiful 70* day to enjoy. We enjoyed a flight of their regular menu; after tastings, we each choose the Copper Hopper IPA. My other favorite was their Help me Out Stout, dark and creamy. Service was great, friendly and attentive even as a large party arrived and they got busy on a Saturday afternoon. Though they do not serve food, they have food trucks out front and you are welcome to bring in your own food. Will definitely be back to enjoy more of their brews and support a local brewery. read more

I had a chance to visit here recently and I was very impressed. You have to try the Mexican Chocolate Stout. The bartender described the taste as cinnamon, chocoate and grabbed her throat to describe the bite from the peppers. She hit it right on. What a fun place this is! We rolled in on a Friday night at 9:15 only to learn that they close at 9:00 (what?!) Our server, who I believe was Justin, told us we could order one round and hang and then get growlers to go. Awesomeness. We each ordered a beer and stayed for an hour playing a game and then with heavy feet we trudged out. I can definitely say that I'll be back here. I want to taste more beer and just hang out. I love this place. My wallet does not. Having a brewery of this caliber this close to my house could be a very dangerous thing. Jeremy and Kristen are class brewers and really nice people who clearly love what they do, and their slightly slurry clientele. The beer selection changes often, so if you have a favorite, chances are someone else loves it, too and it will likely run out. Not to worry. Whatever they brew up to replace it is sure to be amazing. From the saisson to the imperial red to the helles to the black onyx and Mexican chili stout, the beers are lovely and the facility is first rate. Just tried this brewing co on Friday night. Had tried to stop in the previous weekend but all seats were full. The beers are top notch and its walking distance from our apt- an added plus. In the summer they have outside tables. We enjoyed an oak aged IPA and a Macallan aged Imperial Stout- That was one terrific beer, smooth and wonderful. Great friendly atmosphere and efficient bartenders- this place is so popular they could put heaters on that patio and use it year round to increase the seating. read more

I have been meaning to come to Copper Kettle Brewing Company and I am so glad I got the chance to! A little hard to find (not on a main road and doesn't have a noticeable sign) but once you find it you're in for a treat! With plenty of seating outdoors and indoors this is a great place to come with a big group and hang out. All the tables are stocked with cards and games so you can pick up a quick round of blackjack while you're drinking your beer. The beers themselves were good - no complaints there. The guy who brought us our drinks was super helpful and quick to service us. read more

I love this neighborhood brewery so much that I wish it was in my own neighborhood! We visited this weekend for beers with friends. It's a great space to hang out, chat, play games, and drink some great beers. I especially loved their Pilsner, though the IPA was also great if you like your beers a bit hoppier. They always seem to have a food truck or vendor out front, and their outdoor patio is huge for warm days. In a town full of breweries, Copper Kettle remains one of my all time favorites. read more

When I want a quiet, small place to drink a good brew that has not gotten to big for their pants, (thats right Dry Dock, I am calling you out) this is where I head now. Small brewery with some tables and couches and of course the bar with great beer particularly the stout. I would not say they are the easiest to find as they are located in a small strip mall on a side street, so if you are going to check them out look for the food trucks that park out front on the side of the street. If you enjoy good beers of all kind I suggest taking part in the flight they offer, where are beers are labeled as to what you are drinking and explained this way you can see what you enjoy best from here. Most of the time I order this and a pint and I am set. They have some staff walking around to take drink orders, who from my experience have always been right on top of things. Like most small breweries they have little to nothing to choose from for food but there has always been a food truck out front anytime I have been there. read more

I love everything about this brewery! I love that it has a very family feeling environment, and the amazing beers that attracted me in the first place obviously weigh in to the 5 star rating! The workers here are all very friendly, we always make sure to go on days that Kristin is there. She is the best, super funny and I loved that she remembered my name the 2nd time I came in there. They also have a frequent member program that tracks every dollar you spend and eventually you can use the reward towards beer, merchandise, etc. Pretty cool if you ask me! I am moving out of this area, but will definitely make it a point to come out of my way to visit and support this amazing local brewery! read more

Wow...something for everyone here. I would have to say their pumpkin imperial porter is probably the best pumpkin beer I've had - and, yes, I've tried Dog Fish Head. The Mexican chocolate beer is fantastic and so is the beer that is stored in tequila barrels.My husband is an IPA beer drinker and he was amazed too. I don't like IPA's so I'm taking his word for it. The Copper Kettle always has something delicious and interesting to try. Their regular beers are pretty good too. I've only been here a few times but I've had many of their beers at events. It's too bad their location is out in the burbs far from everything else but sometimes it's worth it. The Mexican Chocolate Stout is awesome! The bottled version does not do it justice.
