Purchased a new briggs stratton 17 hp to replace the kawasaki on my old j deere 240 garden tractor…read moreThe stator was installed incorrectly without the spacing ring and the lead wire frayed and shorted everything Because it didn't happen during the 1 year warranty I got stuck paying for their incompetence A new battery, because I assumed it wasn't charging a replacement stator at full price plus shipping and labor Close to $400 all together plus a lot of time wasted. Very disappointing Michael McKiernan

Our shop has ordered many engines from this company of all brands…read more All the V twin Briggs (25hp) we ordered are NOS engines. Everyone of them have been damaged because the company does not inspect them before shipping, smashed vale cover, broken starters, smashed shrouding etc. They blame the shipping company but in reality they are not checking them because the boxes show zero damage. Company sends out replacement parts but wont compensate labor cost for repairs.(if you buy an engine from Briggs they compensate labor rates for repairs). Requires more invested time for replacements going through the return process, causing customer wait times to extend, requires us to package and sometime transport to shipper. Shipping material and labor is not free! All the v twin Briggs we have installed for our customers have prematurely failed or have had costly repairs in a matter of one year in service. Small Engine Warehouse will not stand behind them. Briggs and Stratton gives our shop problems for warranty because there old surplus engines. We are a shop that has spent 10's of thousands with this company, and it does not seem to matter with Small Engine Warehouse. When we sent the company a invoice for our lost time caused by them they blew us off. We wont be spending another dime with this company. We will pay a small higher price and purchase from manufacturer distributors because they understand our time is not free for someone else's in lack of.

These people run a fraudulent business. You ask for new parts and pay for them, and they take it…read moreupon themselves to send you used ones. They do not even get your permission and give you a proper refund for the difference till get caught defrauding you. I still did not get my refund for the difference even I caught them defrauding me. They charge you and also not send you all the parts. Stay away from these scammers.

Adsit is a joke, I ordered a Transmission and Torque converter for my w126, it took several months…read moreto finally arrive, and when it did, the transmission was busted and upside down in a broken crate, and the torque converter was fully missing (which I understand was likely not Adist's fault) the problem came when I wanted it returned and replaced, there was a SEVERE lack of communication, but whereas while I was buying the transmission and parts, and sending them 4,000 dollars, they were certainly very helpful and communicative. But as soon as they had my money, they had no reason to speak to me any longer. After a few months, they only spoke to me once my bank sent them a charge dispute notice in the mail on my behalf. Due to the lack of communication, i wanted a full refund, which they tried their best to fight against, but eventually offered to have it "refunded", with a HUGE chunk of my money kept for "restocking" , despite the fact I know that they insured the transmission and torque converter, AND got all their money back, PLUS their transmission back, which they could rebuild, PLUS them trying to keep a massive chunk of my money. In the end, after 5 months of fighting with the help of my bank, I got back all my money, with my bank likely taking the loss for me. Please beware of this company, they have decent but overpriced parts from what I could see, but if you are ready to wait several months to get it, and likely have to deal with these uncommunicative baboons if there is the slightest problem, it might be worth checking out other mercedes part sellers.
