I have regular visits with PA Foot and Ankle Associates to deal with my neuropathic feet issues…read more They do a checkup and nail trim every 9 weeks. My last visit the person that did my nail trim left me bleeding. I'll let you judge from the pictures the level of work that they do. They actually left my big toe bleeding and incredibly sore for 2 weeks from their work. After the nail trim, the doctor came in to check and told me that there was no cut, even though it had been bleeding, and told me the issue was that my nails are thick and it's hard to tell the difference between the nails and the skin. If that's the case, I guess I should be thankful that I still have a toe! Even though the doctor insisted there really wasn't a cut, he put a bandage on it when he was done. I'm pretty sure most people don't need bandages from a nail trim. I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure that it's not normal to need a bandage after a nail trim. I'm not a diabetic and there is no other unusual issue with my toes or nails.

This is a procedure that I had done at this office many times. I explained to the receptionist that my insurance would not cover this but that I would be willing to pay out of pocket if it was reasonable. She checked with the Dr. and she said it would be $65. I said great, let's do it. I got an appointment for June 13. When I got there the receptionist told me since I had not been there in 4 years I would have to update my personal info. So I filled out the new forms and waited to see the doctor. When I got into the examination room the receptionist came in and told me that I would have to pay $120 for an office visit plus the $65 because the doctor considered me a new patient since it had been 4 years since my last visit. I was stunned. I was literally in the chair with my sneaker and sock off. I told her I was not going to pay the $120 since I was an existing patient and had been treated many times in that office by more than one podiatrist. She went to speak with the Dr. and I could hear her raising her voice. The receptionist came back in and just lowered the chair as if to say see ya. I told her that I wished that she had told me this the day before and not wasted my time. The Dr. didn't even have the decency to show her face. So I'm writing this review so any future patients know what kind of Dr. this is. I left without being treated and I'm still in a tremendous amount of pain. She tried to take advantage of me and rob me of $120. And obviously does not care about her patients. She is a sorry excuse for a medical practitioner.

I've been going to Pocono Foot and Ankle for almost 20 yrs (I have flat feet). 19 years no issues…read more My doc was Dr. Dadson. When I went in March 2022 to get new orthotics, I saw lots of renovation going on and was told Dr. D only comes to this office 2xs a week. Ok, saw another doc. Ordered my new orthotics. Took months with no communication from the office unless I initiated a call. Orthotics came. Totally wrong. They were huge and had a leather top even though I told them the soft top. Went back. Waited.... months later. Oh we have a new system it's better. Have to go in, get re-measured. Wait....... oh lab is behind, blah, blah. Finally in. Told to wear them and make sure they were good. They were horrible! Back again... wait...... finally went today to get them. Instead of full length, they are 3 qtr! WTF! How incompetent can one office be? So I'm done. Oh and btw, I don't think Dr. D will be at this office. Each time I ask I get a different story. She's sick, on vacation, on leave. An office full of incompetent liars!
