Pot roast and Deburger.

Loved this spot in Norwalk! The stars of the show were the creamy parm dressing and deburgo sauce! They also have a great selection of Bourbon, happy hour and steak night on Sundays. Highly recommend!

If you have that insatiable sweet tooth then you must try the"Key Lime tart" at Cooper's Central Table -- each bite packs a heavenly taste of delightful pleasure. The high quality beef junction burger is evenly portioned with a tasty toasted bun, and delectable fresh toppings. The crème filled egg rolls and bean soup did not meet my taste, but may be a tasty treat for others. My parm dressing side salad was scrumptiously fresh. In ordering, Aliesha C. ( My wait staff) Pleasantly -- gave me the side eye -- because I have the unusual habit of ordering everything at once, and wanting it all in front of me to savor each bite-- she just wanted to make sure she heard me right. The early afternoon atmosphere was a busy array of clinging and clanging of staff settling in to meet each order of the customer making the total atmosphere one of purpose. The General Floor Manager checked in to making sure my meal was as delightfully tasting as served. All in all -- the upscale atmosphere, front and back parking with a summer small patio, minimalist traditionalist clean line decor, spacious dining area with a readable choice selection above average simple menu with a plethora of wine and cocktail options -- seemed to suit this up and coming quiet yet destination forward town.

This place is an adults only establishment - meaning no children allowed. Think of it as a bar that serves food, not a restaurant that serves liquor. Leave the kids at home. They have a few televisions and a small patio out front when the weather is nice. You can sit at the bar or one of the high tables. You get table service. All in all, a nice place to grad a bite!

We were initially curious how loud the street would be but were pleasantly surprised it wasn't loud. There was music playing at a good volume too. I could not decide what I wanted to order so I asked the waitress to choose for me. She thought that was a fun option and said she'd definitely go with the Sunset Smash and Fries. The only change I made was no pickles. My friend wanted as many pickles as they'd give her so we got mine on the side for her to have. Wow, was that Sunset Smash burger and fries good! The burger was juicy, tender, flavorful, honestly just delicious! The fries were thick with just the right amount of crisp and salt. Our waitress continued to appropriately check in on us as we ate and chatted. The only thing I'd love to be different is for our kids to be able to come. It's minors only and I know we'd all love the food there. Definitely coming back!

This review is focused on the breakfasts…read more One was with my family (on a weekend) while the other was with a group of nine (on a weekday). If you come to this Mullets location when there are activities at either the Fieldhouse or the diamonds/soccer fields, expect parking to be a nightmare. Norwalk just hasn't made enough parking spots for the complex as a whole and unfortunately, that has to be hard on these businesses. If you cannot find a spot, how are you supposed to come enjoy. When you do find a day that has ample parking, the interior is really spacious and can accommodate many. We've had friendly service with good attention both times I've been. If you are a "fancy" coffee drinker and that's what you're wanting, you won't find it here. They'll serve you a black coffee with some creamer and sugar options. I'm not a lover of their water cups. They are metal and so very cold to handle. They also sweat quickly so are very drippy. My husband loves them. To each their own. The breakfast food has been good both times. I got the Seafood Hash the first time and questioned it having cheese but figured they know what they're doing. It was yummy all together. I couldn't finish it all and it reheated well at home. The second time I had the Cinnamon Roll pancakes meal. Those pancakes were delicious! I took two of them home and they also reheated well. Mullets is a solid addition to Norwalk for breakfast.

It was easy to find right next to the Norwalk Fieldhouse and ball fields. There's a large lot so parking isn't an issue. We arrived at about 430 PM and were greeted right away as we walked in. Party of two. We were shown to a table in the front dining area. Seating is a combination of booths, low top tables and chairs, and a bar area with the standard bar seating we all know and love. The location is a pretty big space divided into basically four areas. A smaller front dining area by the host/hostess station, a larger mid dining area, the rear section is the bar area. The restrooms are in a small hallway to the Left of the bar. There's an arcade at the end of that hallway. Tillman (our server) popped over a minute or so after we were seated. He handed us menus and took our drink orders. We ordered two fountain drinks, a catfish po'boy with cheese curds, and a gringo burger with cheese curds. The sandwiches normally come with fries and there is an upcharge for other side options. The food was ready after a short wait. Tillman kept our drinks full. He pointed us to the arcade so we could go check it out before our food arrived. Everything was hot and fresh off the grill and out of the fryer! Tasted fantastic! The catfish po'boy reminded me a lot of the one I used to get at Wobbly Boots. Next time I'll ask if adding bacon is an option... Lol Tillman checked on us a few times to make sure everything was okay. Everyone we ran across was friendly and at least said hello. One of the managers checked on us about 2/3 of the way through our meal. It's standard table service. Ordering and payment were done through our server at the table. They take cash or cards. Our total came to $39 and change before tip. Being relatively new the place looks clean and while they weren't too busy multiple staff members were wiping down surfaces and preparing for their dinner crowd. A great first experience with Mullet's - Norwalk! And Tillman, from start to finish, was a big part of that...! Can't wait to get back to hit them up for breakfast! . https://mulletsnorwalk.com/ . https://www.facebook.com/share/15zt7tUmyf/?mibextid=wwXIfr

I am very picky on Mexican food, lived in San Diego for years , visited TJ frequently for authentic cuisine. I always judge a place on; #1 hot sauce- can tell it's made with love, roasted to perfection and spicy as it should be.. #2 Camarones a La Diabla - my favorite dish- never watery, actually spicy and lots of shrimp packed with flavor.. #3 street tacos . Go to taco truck messy / hit miss $3-5 small tacos - here $2.50 taco - quick, delicious every time.. Usually only get seafood as that's my favorite- I always get spicy mussels for appetizers. Kids and family love chorizo queso, chili verde, quesadillas, seafood cocktails, Recently been trying other dishes.. my new go to -non seafood is Carne de su jugo.. it's perfect. Always Don Julio margaritas. They know how to make drinks properly.. Support this local small town business. They are legit and the only Mexican food that is always good. Never hit or miss like a lot of places these days...

There were two other tables in the whole restaurant so needless to say it was quiet. Our server was sweet but obviously not trained on efficient and fast service but was probably encouraged to run like a bunny when things go sideways. We ordered two glasses of wine and an old fashioned. Figured I just got off of a plane so why not get the evening going with some bourbon and have a Plan B with the glass of wine when I am ready. Two glasses of wine were delivered but no old fashioned. Who does this? Anyhow, old fashioned came out next. We ordered a cup of soup and a small salad to start with and then ordered a burger, medium, with fries and the pasta bolognese. The soup and salad came out but there was a long stretch of time before entrees came out. When they finally arrived the burger was very rare inside so my wife let the server know and she apologized and scurried off. I tried to wait but it was getting cold so I slowly nibbled. After 20 minutes, I flagged down our server and asked if the burger was coming out and she said "oh, do you want another one"? It was now 9pm and they were closing but we were not leaving until we enjoyed a medium burger. When the new burger came out, she said the "owner made it himself. We cut it in half to check the temperature it was still pink. How can an owner of a restaurant not know how to make a medium-medium well burger? And why didn't he walk out and deliver it himself and apologize? Not a word! My dish was finished and plate was gone while my wife finally had her burger. We had planned to eat together that was not going to happen tonite. She ate half and we took the rest of it to go. With wine, an old fashioned and the worst dinner experience, we spent $174 with tip. Huge mistake. Here is my tip: train your servers on how to take care of customers. To the cooks, invest in a thermometer if you can't tell when a burger is medium. To the owner, step out and make sure your customers are happy and enjoying your food.
