The staff here all seemed nice, but I have the highlight just the ones I worked with. Since the first day coming here Morgan was the one who worked with me and a friend to get our bikes. He was always kind, respectful, and eager to get us what we wanted. When my bike finally did arrive he notified me the day of via text and sent me pictures and updates when it was finally ready for me to come and pick up. Jamie who was part of the financing department was awesome as well; when I changed my mind about something the day after signing she worked with me to get done what I wanted, no hesitation at all. It's really tough to write a review about Caesar's Motorcyle Parts & Service. Not because it isn't…read morea well known shop or doesn't have motorcycle parts & service. It's got all that. Not the most organized or clean or shiny place on the planet, in fact it's the patina that really gives it the charm. No, it's not that part that makes it difficult. It's the part where you try to separate the shop from the owner. In the end, you just can't separate Caesar's from Caesar. Caesar is a larger than life character whose eclectic life and personality just oozes out of his shop. He's been a fixture in Midvale City there on State Street and a giant in the SLC motorcycle community. As an outsider to that community, even I know who the guy is. Visit. Meet him. You won't forget it. In fact, he's such a big personality that he's been immortalized by UDOT. Next time you go underneath the TRAX bridge at about 7900 South on State Street, look over on the east side of the road to the concrete wall. There are cut metal art pieces depicting Midvale's past like the old Sharon Steel site. At about the middle of the concrete you'll see a dude on an old school bicycle (the kind where you sit atop a giant wheel) and he has a parrot on his shoulder. That's an homage to Caesar, who has been known to ride an old school bicycle with a parrot on his shoulder. So yes, do check out the shop. But at this point know that it's as much about the "Caesar" in the title as it is about the "Motorcyle Parts & Service" part.

I was upfront about everything and never tried to hide my intentions. I even planned to come back the next day to finish the paperwork once financing was squared away. But as soon as I said I wouldn't be signing that night without the confirmed rate, the tone shifted. I was pressured in front of the entire team, questioned on whether I had talked to other dealers, and even had a sarcastic offer of a $500 check if the rate wasn't what they insisted it would be--right in front of everyone. It stopped feeling like a professional transaction and started feeling like an ego contest. After I left, I received multiple texts that became increasingly guilt-trippy and unprofessional--accusing me of backing out, being dishonest, and placing blame over a "40-cent monthly difference." The reality is, I walked because of how I was treated, not the rate or the money. Everyone has the right to pause and confirm financing on a major purchase. If a dealership can't respect that, it says everything. I ended up finding a better experience elsewhere--no pressure, no theatrics, just transparency and respect.

Be aware that prices aren't really negotiable and when they are, there's very little wiggle room. The used bike market has very thin profit margins, so expect to pay asking price + title/registration + $150 documentation fee + 7.5% tax on top of it. That will get you an idea of what you would be paying out the door.
