We waited about an hour and 45 minutes. The veterinarian was personable and examined Bentley. He provided 2 options to determine a diagnosis. We decided to have x-rays, blood and fecal tests, etc. to obtain a diagnosis. It took another hour and a half of waiting for the process completion. The cost was pretty steep at $965; however, I can't imagine not doing everything I can to help one of my dogs who becomes ill. I care deeply for them (I have 2 dogs) and vowed to care for them when I got them. Some would call me crazy but that's how I feel. I'm committed to helping them whenever possible. The good news is the tests are negative. Bent has food allergies and tracheotomy issues. We are going to put a body collar on him and remove everything from around his neck. I am then going to change his diet to ensure no foods are included that cause allergy issues for him. He's allergic to fowl, kibble, and particular treats. He was prescribed probiotics and metronidazole. I'm looking forward to helping him heal. Needless to say, I'm glad he's going to be okay.

She has helped me nurture wild CH kittens back to health when everywhere else rejected them when they showed signs of CH. They were in bad shape, one even had a botfly! She was the only Vet that actually helped these little guys I was trying to save and she barely charged anything for all the work she did on multiple visits, knowing I was just helping to get them ready for adoption. I would not judge her on her staff. As for a rabies shot, it's a law regardless of indoor or outdoor in order to register your animal. I personally have 3 snowshoes and 1 Siamese, I trust this vet over every other in the area. She isn't about the money she is about what's best for the animal. I have also waited longer- why because she has to take the K9 cop first, they are on the job and need what they need immediately. I have no issue waiting when it's someone in service!

When arthritis became too much you helped him again-- and then when he had ACL tear last week you were very honest and informative. But Blanco was very sick and surgery was not in the cards - but you still loved him to the bitter end and you all cried with us and were very honest and loving. Blanco knew you would do the best for him too -- How can we thank you all enough? There aren't enough words--The care you gave him and us was exceptional. You were always clear and informative with our options. You are experts at what you do, you love pets and their owners -- your care, expertise and compassion is unmatched. Great care for animals is what drives you all-- you aren't in this to churn out a set of high priced surgeries but to treat animals and their parents well so that they can have fabulous lives together. The vet was very nice and was able to answer all my questions. He then to take my dog to the back room to get her shots. A few moments after that we were done. The vet even gave us a welcome bag since we were new to the place. It had a leash, a folder to keep track of vet visits, and a sample size of Heartguard plus. Overall, our visit was very seamless and the bill was so much cheaper than our vet in Chicago.

Dr. Han is a nice man and took a good amount of time to talk to me about my new kitten and what was wrong with her. More nurses came in to see the kitten and brought her food while we waited for her test results (feline aids and leukemia) to come back. She had pottied in her box, so they threw out the blanket I had brought with us (at my request) and gave us a towel to take home. Very sweet and generous staff. They gave her a bath and applied her heart worm medication. Two blood tests, three medications, a bath, and a nail clipping ran me $225. I did have sticker shock, but I'm not sure that it would have been cheaper elsewhere.

I am deeply hurt with the outcome of this place…read more Yesterday I brought my dog in for surgery and they let him go right after the surgery knowing the stress that would be put on his body from moving that much and I was very surprised because they didn't want to have him stay vernight to watch and see how he's doing and the same night my dog passed. The surgery was 2200 and I don't think we should've paid for that especially since my dog passed from complications after his surgery.

They have made so many improvments to where the dogs are housed for boarding and daycare. They also have an amazing outdoor dog run area with different doggy agility things. We have a very high energy pit/shepard mix who needs a LOT of exercise. Our dog used to go when it was really only an indoor facility and be worn out for the day. With the new improvements our dog comes home exhausted for the rest of the week. Our favorite thing about this location (other than our dog sleeping for days after she goes) is how friendly and caring the staff is. They clearly know each and every dog and owner that comes in their door.

If interested in a pet give a sheltered animal a chance because animals adopted from shelters typically cost less than ones purchased or even acquired for free--once you add in the cost of vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, dewormer, and other "tide bits" included in your adoption fee, you'll probably be surprised what a bargain it is to have chosen an adopted pet. Most shelters and rescue groups conduct thorough behavioral analyses of each pet to get a better ideal that they will be the right piece for your family. Schererville Animal Control did this and told me if anything happens to please bring the pets back. I can not recommend to adopt a shelter animal anymore than buying from a pet store etc. Most pets end up homeless through no fault of their own--"moving" and "landlord issues" are the top reasons people give for relinquishing their pets, please check out your local shelter. It was definitely 100% worth it for my children and I.
